Usually love anytime but this one is subpar. Building is an older chicago building and floor is uneven in spots. Feel very unsafe to to squat in places. Its a 24 hr gym but its in a shared residential unit so they greatly deter from making noise? Often there is a odd smell. Frequently either way too warm or way too cold. Equipment is outdated compared to others. Stationary bike has had a "will fix by end of week sign" for way longer. Ive been there three times this week and I can tell it hadnt been cleaned by the state of thr bathroom and thr same two water bottles left on the floor in the exact same spots. Anytime is great but this location is lacking severely.

1) Great service. Brandon is incredibly welcoming and clearly knows the members of the gym. This is a great place for regulars.
2) Good range of equipment: machines, free weights, cables, and general space are all there. You might have to wait to work in on a spot, but the other people there are considerate.
The only negative is that some equipment needs some TLC. A bench press rack had a bent weight rack, and a cable machine was broken. That said, even while I was there, the staff were fixing the cable machine!

Cramped if itβs even remotely busy, unstaffed for most of the day meaning no one can tend to paper towels, soaps dispensers, sprays so if theyβre empty theyβre empty till someone comes in (gross). Machines are old, cheap, like the machines youβd find in a hotel work out room. Some are a ripped up, a treadmill is permanently in incline, machines are limited and sized better for a taller demographic so itβs an awkward fit for someone shorter. Itβs just an alright gym. Itβs winning on the locational convenience. But I would choose planet fitness for more options and more inclusively sized machines.
