This gym feels like family. The staff is very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The employees, managers and owner take suggestions and concerns seriously. The amenities, cleanliness, variety of equipment and safety for its members are a top priority and are reflected by the overall appearance of the club daily. It's very convenient and I truly recommend anyone to come be a part of our Fitness Family.

Staff is nice and helpful. They should hire an additional manager so that staffed hours at the gym don’t fall on one person. The gym is staffed from 9-6 5 days a week and 9-2 on Saturdays which is a long time for just one person. The gym is getting fixed up which is nice. Broken machines are being fixed and the gym is even brighter than before because they’re replacing lights that have been out for a while. The facility is clean most of the time, but it can get a little grimy once staff is off but that’s every gym. I’ve been a member for about 2 yrs and there’re no big issues.

Anytime Fitness in Hazel Crest is my home location. I have no gym experience but this location made me want to gain it. The staff is great! On my first day they were kind and helpful. Walked me through all my options to make it easier to make a decision on the plan I wanted to choose. My consultation training session was great and subsequently led me to take advantage of the deal they were offering at the time. I actually enjoy working out here. That's saying a lot from a homebody couch potato such as myself.

I love the gym and the staff. The gym is usually very clean and machines are always available. I like to wipe down before and after machine use, but lately I’ve had to bring my own wipes or use sanitizer because all the wipe stations are just empty. Not a complaint just want to make staff aware that clients are in a wipe crisis at certain times. lol. Imagining mingling with someone else’s germs and sweat is an unhappy moment.

I absolutely loved my training and trainer. Although he gave me a hard workout, he was compassionate and consistent. Always polite and encouraging. He pushed me to keep going. I was able to see some results almost immediately. I completed the first week motivated to stay with it. The young men working at this location are simply amazing 👏🏾. They are very personable and always maintaing a pleasant demeanor.

The owner of this gym is definitely preying on our community. I signed a contract in late June. I had to temporarily relocate to Texas in September-late December. I called, called, and called the gym cancel my membership but NO ONE ever answered. I get an email in, I think in September, stating I was past due a month. So I called the gym again............no answer. So, I responded to the email I was sent, requesting to cancel my membership. Mid October I get another email regarding my overdue bill, but this time the email had a 1-800 number I could contact. I contact the 800 number. They tell me the owner has it set up were only the actual gym can cancel a contract and I had to go into the gym. I explained to them I would be in Texas until late December and could not go in. The representative attempts to get ahold of someone at the gym, but no one answered. Eventually, the rep sent an email letting the gym know I wanted to cancel my membership, I had been trying to get into contact with someone at the gym, and I sent an email, back in September requesting cancellation. I waited for 1mon for someone to call or email me, but no did. So I call, call, call the gym......no answer. So, I call the 800 number back, state my case all over again. They reiterate they can't cancel, so they try to get into contact with the gym again. Someone finally answers and the 800 rep tells the gym manager my plight. Basically, the 800 rep clicks back over, states I have to come from Texas to go into the gym to cancel. Eventually I speak with the owner. He tells me I signed a 4yr contract and had to pay almost $600 to get out of it. I said I would pay because I wanted to get as far away from from this gym and shady business practices as I could (other things had taken place, unprofessional conversations with the manager and unprofessional emails from the owner, I did not mention). So I gave the owner my credit card info to take a partial payment. He waited almost 3 weeks to pull the payment, then had the slimy audacity to set my card up for automatic payments, which I did not agree to. I just got into town and just so happens while leaving the airport, I get an alert ANYTIME FITNESS was attempting to withdraw a monthly payment from my account. I will be running there, at 9am to pay the balance in full so I don't have any connection with this gym. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.
Find a facility that cares about our community, has integrity, and professionalism.

Update: I just left the club and had a horrible experience with the owner, Yousef, and the manager spewing a barrage of attacks at me due to this post. They were extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, calling me a "KAREN" and damnig me for my review. I say this, to the manager, I hope you find better leadership because you following behind the owner and his disrespectful ways towards customers will perpetuate your unprofessionalism. For the owner, stop thinking you can talk to and treat people with disrespect and be blessed in life. You may own businesses now, but if you keep treating people like they are less than, you won't be for long.

Switched over to this location after the StayFit24 in Homewood shut down. So far, so good. Clean. Nice size. Even during the busy times, it doesn't seem too cramped. The manager was very nice, attentive, and put me at ease on my first visit. The few patrons I have talked to are also friendly and will to answer any questions. My only gripe would be the inconsistent availability of towels. So, you might be better remembering to bring your own.

The fact that i been with this company for two years never missed a payment and have been threatening is ridiculous. I cancel my membership in enough time for them to stop payment for my last month and because they didn’t they still charged my account and threaten to put my in collections you don’t treat loyal customers like that Steven Mitchell. To be honest I was big fan of this gym until I went in to cancel my membership and I was informed I signed a 2 YEAR CONTRACT. Ain't no way in hell would I have signed that if they told me that's what it was when I first signed up. I remember like yesterday that I was given two options: 1. Take the lesser membership in which you payless monthly but only have access to that gym and you have to pay for the key fob and an initiation fee or 2. Pay about $10 more and you put $1 down and you get access to all clubs. NOT ONCE WAS A 2 YEAR AGREEMENT MENTIONED, NOT ONCE! And now they want almost $500 to get out of it. It's insane.

The gym has everything you need and the people are also some of the nicest, most welcoming individuals I've met. My trainer is incredible and everyone else makes you feel like you have every right to be working out there regardless of what you look like or what your experience is.

Simply put: it feels nice to come to a place where I don't feel judged or alienated.

Just got a membership yesterday and I love it! The gym is very clean and has sooo much equipment. They even have foam rollers! What I like the most is that there’s a separate room where you can workout by yourself if you want. Just one downside, not everybody wears masks, but there’s not much of a crowd anyways.

I like this gym, however, the music at the 183rd street location is very inappropriate and very offensive for a gym or any public place. Also, during this time of a pandemic, some people are not wearing mask including the personal that work there. The gym is usually very clean and well organized. Keep up the good work.

While the gym was nice (though very compact), I didn’t appreciate the fact that there was no mask in sight. Not even from the manager who was talking to me. This is a fantastic studio-like gym. No lockers or dirty locker rooms. Anytime fitness has all of the equipment you need to get a fantastic as well as a great staff. I'm utilizing Devon as my personal trainer. She is really awesome. This facility is open for 24 hours and it is rarely crowded. If you are looking for a fantastic place to work safely, you should check this place out. Ask for Garrick, the manager to sign you up. He will make you comfortable with the selecting the right membership option, and choosing a trainer if you need one.
