Not a fan. Pretty much a holiday inn express gym with two bench press machines. It is advertised as a “fitness center” tho so can’t fault them too much. These guys love to litter the walls with passive aggressive signs.
When I started going to Apex I was paying 35 dollars a month and one of the perks of the gym was a sauna. I guess someone wasn’t using it properly so they put up a sign warning everyone not to abuse the machine or they’ll take it away. Well you guessed it, someone was still using it improperly so they punished everyone and completely removed it. On top of that they then started charging an extra $2.50 a month.
The problems continue with the men’s bathroom. Someone kept destroying the only toilet in the men’s room so bad every week that they had to put a sign up with a bounty to try to catch the guy. I’m not even joking. They have a “Get to Know the Employees” bulletin and almost all the employees are quoted on saying how they hate to clean the men’s bathroom.
Speaking of the bathroom, someone kept stealing the air freshener in the men’s room, and yes, you guessed it, there was another sign warning them to stop; they didn’t… What does Apex do? Take away the air fresheners in the bathroom.
Also you are going to want to add gallons of body spray to your monthly gym bill because if another member thinks you smell bad from working out you’ll get a stern phone call from their employee telling you how bad you smell.
Last, I just want to bring up another sign they have hanging up. Leave us a review and we’ll give you a free protein shake so be cautious of some of the positive reviews

This is a great gym. All the employees and trainers are very friendly. The place is always clean and it smells good. That may sound strange to say, but I’ve been in some gyms that smell like a sweaty armpit. I also like how they have separate rooms, so even if it’s busy people are spread out in different areas making it not seem as crowded.

I started going to the Apex gym in early 2021. Mostly for strength training and cardio, but honestly I was way out of shape! Everyone there was friendly! No judging looks. There were all ages, weights and sizes in the gym. I made friends quickly. The staff were eager to help if you needed any questions answered about equipment, food intake or supplements, or to just chat! I usually go early in the morning before work and shower in Apex’s facilities! The men’s locker room has always been spotless! Including the showers!

That same summer I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had 8 weeks of radiation. My oncologist was amazed at how well I withstood the treatments! He asked what I had done recently and my only change was going daily to the gym. He encouraged me to continue as he believed Apex gym had helped me greatly through my radiation treatments!

Apex fitness has helped me with weight loss, cancer, 2 knee replacement surgeries and strengthening my inner core!

I gave them one star because it wouldn't let me give them 0 stars first person I delt with was very knowledgeable about what to do for a pre employment fit test then he hands me off to some young gal who didn't have a clue as to what she was doing. So I gave them 1 star APT called the employer to cry about the review I had gave them they had given me a passing grade on the fitness test but after seeing the review I gave them tried changing it to a nonpassing fitness test. These people are more concerned about how many stars they have than anything else. (Give us a good review are we'll make things hard on you) kinda attitude. Do not recommend this place.

I enjoy coming here to work out, 24 hr access is rare and useful given my schedule. Can’t beat the price too! I participate in the exercise classes. They’re a reasonable price for 8-9 weeks of class rotations. Dan, the instructor, pushes participants to do their best and the Saturday Abs and Butt group classmates are very encouraging. We’re all on our own fitness journey. I’ve never not been sore after a class in a good way. Very satisfied with my fitness and muscle growth and increased endurance.

Charged 845 dollars for 2 visits. I paid a bill I received for 29.09. Now squeezing me for 12 more dollars? Then you wonder why folks never show back up or write reviews like this? Months later I am still waiting for a 17 dollar refund. This was after contacting the corporate office twice with regards to the Celina, Texas franchise. Before signing up you need to be aware of how expensive these visits actually cost and what your insurance covers. Why do you think they push you to sign up for weeks and weeks of visits. A YouTube video and a mat will do your bank account justice.

I was sent here After dislocating my shoulder. I was in so much pain I couldn't move my arm. With in a week they had my Pain pills cut in half and motion back in my arm. The staff was great. They all worked together. The facility was clean. They took the precautions needed after each person to immediately clean tables to prevent any contamination. Definitely too knotch establishment..
