Arlene is amazing! I was having trouble walking and maintaining my balance and in just one session I was going up and down stairs with more ease. I've also experienced an Emotion Code session with her, and had great results in moving past old emotions that had been holding me back, both personally and professionally.

While I have enjoyed the Fit Boomers class that my husband and I take with Arlene twice a week, the real magic for me is her Square 1 Motor Control. I have bone on bone knees, a large plate holding my ankle together and lots of old injuries. The Square 1 sessions have made a huge difference in my mobility by reducing pain in my knees and elsewhere. They used to hurt every time I stood up out of my chair, especially if I had been working at my desk for awhile. Now I don't have to consciously think about getting up! I just do it.

I’m not sure what it is about Arlene that makes her such an effective coach. It could be her warmth, her empathy, her friendliness, her sense of humor, or her concern for our health, safety, and well-being. Whatever it is, I keep coming back! It amazes me that an on-line class filled with a variety of women (and the occasional man!) can be so friendly and satisfying. I never feel intimidated or judged in Arlene’s class, just happy that I’m doing something to make myself a little healthier, a little stronger, a little more flexible. Now, if I could just do a little better on the balance exercises! Oh well, I’ll keep trying—Arlene will figure out something!

If you want to improve balance, increase everyday endurance, strengthen muscles, and just improve your overall mobility, JOIN OUR CLASS (Stretch & Strength). I am 72 years old and have several health issues. I have tried many classes and programs over 50+ years. I am overweight and HATE to exercise. However, I have been in Arlene's class since September of 2019 and absolutely LOVE it!

In all the years, this is the only program I have stuck with for more than a month or two and did not dread going to and hate every minute that I was there. Now, I will not miss the class and if I do, I do not miss the replay. Having said that, I feel better and have more energy. I am certainly more flexible as well as can do more than my peers who are not in the class and are just letting time take its toll. It is an hour, twice a week, that is more beneficial for me and my health than any other thing I can do.

Arlene is knowledgeable, motivating, funny, encouraging and gives lots of tips along the way (who knew breathing and your core was so important!?!?). It is online. I can do the program in the comfort of my own home, at my own pace. Yet, as a group, we have gotten to know each other and it's a great way to connect with others.
