Paula is very experienced and knowledgeable and has really helped me realize what was causing my pain. I’ve had major hip and back pain for years. She got a Stemwave machine and it has changed my life. I am in much less pain and as a result can be more active in my everyday life.

Paula is by far the best and most informative trainer I have been to. Over 20+ years with MS, I have been to quite a few.
Paula has an innate sense of what is needed, and knows how to target that area directly.
She knows her stuff, and if she doesn’t, she will research and find out how she can best help you.
I highly recommend her.

After having relocated from the last time I worked with her, I was reconnected with Paula. She is still as helpful as ever in knowing how to navigate MS symptoms.
But now, she uses a tool called “soft wave”. From what I understand, it works with ultrasonic waves that penetrate the tissue.
It is nothing short of amazing.
I experienced frozen shoulder 9 years ago and I have not been able to extend my arm over my head since that time. It has been painful and “stuck” for 9 years. On top of the MS symptoms, I figured it was just something I had to deal with. I have had cortisone shots and other therapists try to help.
The first visit using the soft wave I could raise both arms over my head.
It’s been over a month now and I still have full range of motion.
Paula is a very intuitive therapist, and now with the addition of the soft wave, she is a
Godsend.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis more than 30 years ago and have been going to Paula regularly for the last 5 years now. My neurologist and I agree that without Paula, I would be in a wheelchair.
She is an extraordinary personal trainer who really cares about her clients. Paula is very smart having been a nurse before changing to this profession. She has a lot of medical knowledge about how our bodies and muscles work. She uses a myriad of devices to make people feel better, and I can tell you that I feel better every single time after I have a session with her.
Paula will use everything she has (and her modalities are endless!-essential oils, creams, electric stim, infared sauna, the many ways she uses the reformer to stretch, strengthen and tone. She also has a vibration plate as well as special chair to stretch our backs and that is just some of the devices she uses. I have recommended her to others and all agree that she is fabulous at helping each of them improve.

I've had shoulder pain for a while and wasn't ready to consider surgery. Paula provided a customized program that was holistic and treated the problem which was not just the shoulder, and not just the symptoms. She is a quiet gem and is now a permanent part of my health and well-being team.

Paula worked with me for several months dealing with hip and back pain. She is always focused like a laser beam on your problems and the solutions. She goes after the problems with determination to help you change. Working with Paula is not a walk in the park. She will challenge you to make the changes that get results. That’s what I wanted. I can recommend Paula without hesitation.

I have been seeing Paula for over six years now. She is exceedingly dedicated to her clients as I have witnessed with others besides myself. She is knowledgeable in every aspect of her practice. I find it a big plus that each session is different from the one previous, so that one does not become disinterested by routine. In addition to her mastery of all things Pilates, she has a broad knowledge base of integrative health which serves everyone in addressing the root cause issues regarding their specific cares.
So yes, a five star recommendation!

I can’t say enough about Paula Lewinski. Her knowledge of the body, what it does, and how it works is amazing. I have the privilege of watching her work with numerous clients, with so many different ailments, and help them to move in ways that they probably never thought they could. She truly cares about everybody she comes in contact with. Paula is very focused and gives 100% of her attention to every client or class that she works with. She really is amazing

I have MS like so many of Paula's clients so I've always struggled with finding the balance between getting stronger and the fatigue that exercise can bring on. Paula is very intuitive on top of being an excellent trainer always modifying training based on my individual needs. Paula has always gone above and beyond getting personally involved in her clients lives like when she joined my MS team for our annual WALK fundraiser where she raised more than anyone else. I found a true friend and supporter in Paula and know you'll feel the same once you start training with her.

About 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with RA, I could barley walk or hold a plate without being in excruciating pain, the only option from my doctor was meds, I defeated. A co-worker referred me to Paula and my world changed for the better, I am stronger now then I was even before the RA. Paula's knowledge of the body, health, autoimmune is something to be admired, she has provided me with more resources then any Doctor I have seen in these past 3 years. Paula observes every movement your body is making if something is painful or she notices you are not using the correct muscles she modifies the exercise so your body is getting exactly what it needs. Paula has given me my life back and the ability to keep up with my teen daughters.

Everyone is different in what holds them back. Food sensitivities, nutrition, family history, body alignment and structure. What works for one person can have no effect or even be detrimental to another. Paula approaches you with a holistic view to get past the road blocks and achieve a better quality of life and "balance".

I have been working with Paula for more than 5 years and her skill in helping me, and others, work productively toward health, wellness and fitness goals is extraordinary. She has helped me thru issues following a hip replacement, weight loss, challenges with arthritis, balance, proper form and more. When you work with Paula, you are the only person on the planet...and her warm, gentle and humorous personality makes working with her a real pleasure. For Paula, every client matters!

Having exercised under Paula's astute directions, I continue to live without substantial impairment even though I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. Paula guides me through extensive pilates work, strengthening my muscles and improving my balance. Without Paula, my life would not be as active as it is now.

Paula Lewinski helped me tremendously with a very immobile left hip for about the last 4-5 years. She has a gift to analyze a physical issue and how to approach corrective measures. It might take time but she never gives up. It is amazing to me how many different exercises/movements she thinks of to help a body move more efficiently. She looks at the whole body and considers the whole body alignment. She is an amazing physical therapist/trainer and has helped me loosen up my immobile left hip. It is true 'What seemed impossible yesterday has now become my warm -up'. Thank you so much! Carol B.

I have worked with 6 other trainers and Paula is by far the best. Heres the deal, during the session Paula is monitoring every aspect of your movements to ensure the exercise is done properly, you dont injure yourself and you benefit from the exercise. She changes up the exercise so its no the same old exercises. I have worked with Paula for approaching 3 years and strongly recommend her to anybody who asks. I say this in jest "She beats me like a rented mule" but I keep coming back for more and plan on working with her moving forward.

I met Paula in her Align and Define class in Elk Grove Village. She teaches proper form and encourages stretching during class. After experiencing shoulder pain and not getting relief from traditional PT, I started seeing Paula on an individual basis. Paula has worked with me using various techniques. She truly is concerned for her clients and wants them to get better. I highly recommend Paula and will continue seeing her.

I first started taking Paula's classes at the Pavilion Fitness Center in Elk Grove Village.
Paula teaches a class Align and Define at the Pavilion. I am 66 years old and have worked out most of my life . This is the best class I ever took due to Paula teaches you the correct way to do everything to avoid injury and use proper form.
I also take Plates Reformer with Paula, and now thanks to Paula's expertise my range of motion is how it was years ago if not better.
Life changing.
