Barefoot yoga has an amazing atmosphere that is so calming and relaxing! The staff is very friendly, well trained and are incredibly good at helping with hands on assistance. The icing on the cake is the lavender lemon towels to cool down at the end; what a great way for me to unwind:)

Barefoot Yoga Loft is a beautiful studio. When you walk through the doors you are immediately a part of a community like no other. Everyone- staff and fellow yogis are so friendly and helpful. The teachers are highly skilled and knowledgeable. There are a wide range of classes and all levels are welcomed and offered modifications in each and every class. I began my practice here 2 years ago and have been fortunate enough to become an instructor. Yoga and this studio, in particular, has truly changed my life!

I want to start by saying everyone I met was extremely nice, that's why two stars instead of zero. Very nice people work there but I felt it necessary to say if you are a beginner maybe this isn't what you will be expecting. I attended a yoga class at different business while visiting a friend on Saturday. Fell completely in love with it and the description was exactly what I got, it was a Vinyasa Level 1 class. Expecting the same thing attending my second Vinyasa Level 1 class at Barefoot Yoga I was very disappointed. Again don't get me wrong very nice people but the instructor went way too fast, didn't explain the poses very well, told us to breath in but never said breath out and was playing some kind of countryish music which I personally found distracting. I had called and asked if it was necessary to register they said no we have a huge room. I arrived to a tiny crowded room. Had this been my first class i would not have known you are to breath out of your nose. There was no relaxation and controlled breathing to get you started it was up and going right away and no time in any of the poses. I came to Yoga for the spirit of it and to change my mindset and relieve stress as well as get into better shape. Here is the description on Barefoots own website and the Vinyasa Level 1 class did not meet the description. VINYASA LEVEL 1 -
(Warm Environment)
Learn your yoga breath, and basic poses as you awake your core. This is a class with slower and shorter sequences. The instructor will demonstrate and assist the breakdown of Sun A. Full of the basic poses taught with a more personal approach to the newer students. The poses promote lengthening and spine stretching. Focus on your breath and intention as you learn alignment in poses. All levels are welcome.
