This gym is just trying to steal your money. They closed within a week that I enrolled in the membership was billed $20 and the next week they closed the gym without notifying anyone was greeted with a paper on the wall that said it has permanently shut down. Another thing they did not notify me that they would charge me $50 for another company which I did not sign a contract for and I tried calling but they won’t give me a refund!!!! Not worth it at all unless you want to be ripped off.

These guys really closed this location and didn’t notify anyone about being transferred to a different gym, on top of that they charged me a $50 yearly fee to that other gym.

Call ABC Financial, the lady on the phone was awesome and issued me my refund and cancelation.

This place is horrible ! They lost the place due to foreclosure. Same day they kick us out for an emergency next day the place was empty ! Blast charge me for a whole year when I told them why I was cancelling,they wanted to charge me more even the place was empty. They took my MONEY!! Following month they send an email I could go to charter fitness suppostly for Free but they kept my yearly fee. How's that for free?

Update 6/25/19: they closed the gym, didn’t tell anyone, and still took our annual renewal money and our monthly payments!!! BBB will be hearing about this.
So this place is cheap.. you can really see them stretching your 7.99 monthly fee because half of the things you want to use do not work! Want to use the stair master? Nope! Leg curls? Nope! At least you can run on the treadmill right? Yeah you can and your only entertainment is the static playing on the TVs.. if you wanna plug in your iPod from 2007 but also get MRSA from a used up discarded Bandaid this is the place to be - Blast Fitness!

I NEVER do reviews but I feel like this time is so much needed.
So like a month and a half ago I got my membership at this STUPID DIRTY “gym”. When I got it the girl who sold me the membership NEVER mentioned anything about the gym closing soon. The 15 of this month I got charged $50.00 for signing up plus like $13.99 for the past month. Obviously the girl never mentioned anything when I got the membership because I guess she gets commission. So last Thursday while I was working out these guys from another gym came up to me telling me that Blast was closing the next day (Friday) so I was suprised bc I had recently gotten my membership. I went with the girl from the front desk and asked if it was true and all she said was “nah i don’t know nobody told me anything” I asked for a manager and she said her manager was only there mornings. So today I find it they DID closed. Like how you’re not going to know your job is closing. You obviously know they obviously need to let you know ahead of time so you can get a new job. Smh that girl is so stupid I wish I could see her!!😤🤬😡

I’m not one to really write reviews but I really want to state that this gym is not worth your money.

The customer service by the employees is trash- they’re always on their phones with headphones on that’s why they never answer the phone because they never hear it ring, most of their machines don’t work or they’re incredibly dirty, their elevator has been out of service for months, the main entrance door has cracked glass and hasn't been repaired in weeks. There’s a lot more I can add but all of this to say- don’t waste your time or money with this membership.

Horrible !! When it rains there's a class room full of buckets 😲 leaking ceiling!!! Bathrooms are filthy !!! And now there's no babysitting available really ...then what are we paying for!!! Its always an emergency..they should have a replacement available!!

Horrible customer service. I attended personal training once, for the offer that the first time it’s free, after I never signed any papers to make it official and the personal trainer manager still decided to take automatic payments without my authorization!! I would call so many times and the manager was never available! No one was ever able to help me out or return my call! Then they claimed that I had signed papers that’s why they took payment (which I NEVER did) it took over 2 months for me to get my money back!! And to finish it off manager never apologized or ever give me a call bask to let me know when I will receive, like she said she will. It was a headache, what this gym put me through, after being with them for 4 years! I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

The Manager is extremely helpful and super understanding. When I had problems with being over charged she was the first one to be able to solve it without any hassle. The gym itself is a nice little place to go workout.

Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! Please clean this place! The lay out is great. The gym is very simple which is fine for your everyday workout. However beware of the terrible housekeeping! Not just the floors but the bathroom and the locker rooms. This place has potential if they put the effort into it.

Do not go here if you want to be lied to. I was told my membership will automatically end because I was on a 12 month plan and it did not and they charged me $50 that they won't give me back. I do not care about the money I just wanted my membership to end because I do not like this gym. I also signed my boyfriend up to the gym and we cancelled ours the same time (a month before your membership expires according to them) and his is still active and got charged. This place wants to rob you for money and the gym is crappy. Do not go to this gym it will be hell for you to try to get out if you wanted to leave.

Classroom needs immediate attention! Last Monday, the room was COLD! This past Thursday the room was VERY COLD! People kept their coats on. I needed gloves! I have been coming here for about six months and there is a long crack in one window and the roof leaks more and more each time it rains. Otherwise, the staff deserve all five stars and all other experiences have been positive, therefore, I had to give two stars. BTW: I exercise in the daytime.

I don't usually post reviews anywhere but I have to say .... I love blast , the staff has always been friendly and I feel like it's super affordable. My kids just love going to the playroom ! But the main reason I signed up to blast was to go to the evening classes. I'm very sad to hear that we will no longer have a Monday night class with Deb :( isn't Monday the day we all work out a little extra ;).?? I really think this decision should be reconsidered , I can think of many loyal customers that would agree.. Maybe then we would all proudly rate 5 stars ....

The only reason I come to this Blast Fitness to this particular location is because of Debroah’s classes. I pay my membership in full but I’m getting half of my service! Cutting down Monday classes to only ONE evening class is unacceptable. It’s bad enough the ceiling leaks when it rains and classes are canceled, and when bathrooms are filthy, and when classes are canceled on HALLOWEEN. If I’m expected to pay a full price for my membership I demand ALL OF MY SERVICES.

I have been a member of Blast for the past 5 years and really like the pricing and classes but it needs to be updated. Classes get cancelled when it rains due to the fact the roof leaks. I know this has gone on for several months as I go almost every day. If it wasn't for Deborah Matthews and her classes I would have cancelled a long time ago. Please get it fixed!!!!

Make sure you cancel one month ahead of time because they won't emphasize on letting you know about it, I had a bad experience with this company location. I was a member for about three years and lately wasn't using it as much so I decided to cancel one day after they had charged me for the annual fee. My surprise came when I went to cancel, first the gentleman there was very rude about the way he had to handle the procedure and then I found out they don't cancel anything at the moment, you have to send out yourself a cancellation form to their financial department on top they also charged me for an extra month, so I called their financial department to see if I could get a refund for what they had charged me and they said no that I should have known and read my contract which at the time I signed nothing was emphasized on this matter. Also one more thing, if for any reason you happen to lose or have any changes on your credit or debit cards you ought to make sure you update your information since they will keep you charging and if you don't pay they will send you to collection. Very unsatisfied with this company location and I hope the rest of this company aren't like this one.

Friendly staff, especially all of the trainers. James, Manny and Co. all make the place more welcoming. No contracts, only paying $20/month and I can bring whoever. Nice, clean location.

Go in times before 6pm and you'll find machines open. Wish they had a rack/holder for the barbell though, takes a lot of time to remove the weights while deadlifting.

I've been going here for about a two years. I've had very little problems. The staff is always friendly. Machines all mostly work well. Dumbbells only go up to 70 lbs. They have more than one bench press flat bench. Some treadmills might not work properly, but they have a lot so its never occured that I don't find a treadmill to run on, and by work properly it mostly means the TV doesn't work. I don't like the fact that you aren't allowed to use chalk, maybe not obviously, but I know I'm not the only one who uses it discreetly. I've only had a staff member tell me once to not slam the weights so hard during my deadlifts. Other than that, great gym. If they allowed the use of chalk, I would give th the full 5 stars.
