I had a terrible experience with this gym. They continued to charge me an additional $125 after I had already cancelled my membership, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I never received a refund. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Run away from this gym.

I understand a couple of days without hot water but going two weeks in the dead of winter is tough. That and the amount of machines that get broken and take weeks to fix brings this review down to three stars. Otherwise this place is very clean, weights are put away, staff is friendly and there's lots of variety in equipment.

I am back because this is day three without hot water…let’s see how long it takes to fix it. And I also wanted to post a photo because their brand new leg extension machine is already broken. I’ve been to a few gyms in my life including LifeTime, Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, Golds Gym…never have I experienced such frequent issues with broken machines and lack of hot water. And to whoever keeps breaking the machines, stop giving them excuses to increase the membership price.

The gym charged an unexpected maintenance fee after I had been a member for a year, which I was not aware of. I called them, and they claimed it was mentioned to me when I first signed up a year ago. I then canceled my membership. Today is June 5, and they told me I still have to pay for the month of July in order to cancel, which I find very unreasonable. The manager was on the phone but was quite unhelpful. This neighborhood deserves a better gym than this.

I have been coming to this gym for 3-4 years. I liked it a lot. Affordable, friendly staff, close to work and generally clean. Unfortunately, this last year I have noticed more and more broken equipment, which has remained like that for more than two months. Talked to the manager and mentioned that they were gonna repair it, but after a month the stuff is still broken. Too bad they're letting the gym go down.

I have been a member for over a year and haven't been able to get to this gym because I travel for work and life. SO, because costs are increasing, I called to cancel, and their policy is to charge you an additional month's fee when you cancel, despite me never setting foot in their gym, and they just charged me for this month, which I still won't be going. It's just not a great way to maintain customer retention because now, when I'm back on my feet, this is the last place I will get a gym membership.

Like what the other reviews said, this place treats its members like garbage and won't let you cancel your membership. I canceled my membership last year and they continued to charge me every single month. When I talked to the manager, she gave me a nasty attitude and said it's not canceled. To make the matter worse, the manager stated that she still won't let me cancel the membership today and will continue to charge me. She even threatened me and said that if I don't pay, she will send me to collections. I haven't even been to the gym in more than a year! They just want to keep charging you no matter and won't let you cancel. VERY SHADY PRACTICE AND BAD PEOPLE!

This location has no association with blink Fitness anymore. It was bought by some other company and as others have mentioned they completely changed their policies. I've contacted blink to try and cancel my membership, they told me they couldn't cancel it because they're not associated with this location anymore. I went to the location to cancel and the woman told me they have no records of my membership so I obviously couldn't cancel. I'm still being charged monthly for something I can never use and I have no idea how to cancel. This place is absolute trash.

Do not ever go to this gym. It is terrible! My girlfriend canceled the membership by phone in December. The cancelation was confirmed by the receptionist at that time. However, they keep sending the bills, so we called them again. The manager, whoever picked up the phone today, told us the cancelation was not in their records and that they would keep charging us until April. The manager was also having an attitude when speaking to my girlfriend. Many of my Chinese friends have told me that the company treat its members like garbage. Do not go there especially you are Chinese.

Save yourself the frustration!

I wish I had made this review months ago, I have been paying since June of 2024 (when I came to visit family). I was only signed up for the month I was there (I don’t live in the US), and I’ve since been trying to cancel… 7 months later. I can’t get in contact with anyone directly, and when I do, they say it’s taken care of. Next month comes along, and surprise, another charge.

I can only pray now that maybe someone will reach out to cancel my membership before I just cancel my card.

Blink keeps charging for a membership that we had canceled months ago and management refuses to return our calls even though we have emails that prove we have canceled the membership. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and still no answer from Blink management. On top of that, this gym wants to charge it's members $90 to cancel their membership. This gym treats its members like garbage. I signed up thinking they were a decent place, but after switching management, they decided to change the rules on cancellation without warning. The terms I agreed to? Gone. They even took down the page with the original policies from their website, like they’re trying to pretend it never existed. We're here on travel nursing contracts and this gym is going to force us to pay for a membership we literally cannot use anymore because we've moved.

When I tried to get answers, I got nowhere. They just stick to their new terms and act like we’re supposed to go along with it. It’s so shady and disrespectful. If you’re considering this gym, save yourself the frustration. There are plenty of places that don’t pull this kind of bait-and-switch nonsense. Avoid this gym at all costs.

All staffs at front desk here need more training. They are extremely unhelpful, clueless, rude, do not care, and full of attitude.

I walked in with a friend trying to refer him to sign up for him membership. The female staff did not care of helping, answered with “I think”, “not sure”, and “i don’t know” for all the basic questions. We ended up thanking her for being so “helpful” and walked out. Why is she even there getting paid?

This would be a great location for a gym. It’s been over 3 weeks now and the one of the two leg extension machines still have the out of order tag. Yesterday they both were out of order. That’s ridiculous to not maintain equipment properly for the members especially popular machines that get the most use. The list is endless but, on top of all of it, they refuse to give me a refund on a second set of personal training sessions and then the trainer I was working with quit. So I'm out all that money?

I get the model of budget gyms but this is ridiculous:

-No matter what time of day you go it's packed. If you get there after 2pm, there's not even enough room to stretch or walk around but it's already busy at 6:30am.
-Too much emphasis on equipment nobody uses, not enough on things everyone stands around waiting for.
-People hoard equipment (e.g. having 3 sets of free-weights, a bench they're not using, and they're doing pushups) and get upset if you ask them to share.
-The most used machines break constantly and they don't think to have back-ups of parts so it can be days, even weeks to fix something like a cable.
-Nobody wipes things down.
-The ventilation is bad so the place is musty.

Gym is clean, staff is friendly, they have protein snacks and drinks to purchase. For the most part, no matter when you go this gym is packed. Which isn’t necessarily their fault but it’s a small facility. Another gripe I have is that their machines are constantly out of order, machines will be out of order for weeks, get fixed, then are out of order a couple days after. Legs machines seems to be an after thought, and their aren’t nearly enough benches to accommodate all the guest.

I’ve been to several gyms, and this is by far one of the cleanest gyms.

It’s spacious, has good equipment like free squat racks, some pull-up bars, and also a fairly large stretching area, plus many other machines of all kinds to work out every part of the body.

It’s also very well-organized, and the staff is very friendly and professional.

this is the first gym ive went to.
this marks my 8 months going to this gym.

im more of a solo type of guy but a lot of the people in this gym spot me.

and an unpopular take is the blasting music. the music is around restaurant volume. as for me, someone who finds headphones too hot to wear, i love the songs. if you dont like mainstream music, i recommend wearing headphones or earplugs.

the staff offer much hospitality and the items are very clean.
my interactions with people have all been positive. ive only met one adult who brushed me off, but i know a few faces i can go to.

as for wait time, most machines are occupied past noon.
the mornings require very little wait time.

about the cost, cancellation fee, and money hungry gym. i dont have any information on that, but i do know that on the day you cancel, they take payment for the next 2 months incase you wanna come.

i got a few complaints;
1) i want a free gym. 🙏
2) wait time is the most offsetting factor

The gym plays music loudly with bass, so be prepared to listen to your music and their music simultaneously. Most gyms I’ve visited have stopped playing music because everyone uses headphones.

The machines and weights are decent. The benches in front of the dumbbells need to be wider but this is probably comes down to preference.

The gym is also too crowded even after 8pm. It’s not the gym’s fault but be prepared to wait to use anything.

First off the employees are very kind and enhance the experience. As far as gyms go this is good for the price, and it is better than Planet Fitness. However, I’ve completely converted to a morning gym goer and utilizing “bro splits” (one or two muscle groups a day, then I jet) due to the small space and over crowding. There’s packs of young lifters hanging out more than lifting on a consistent basis. Real college rec center vibes…people on phones on machines that may or may not even be using them, standing in packs not exercising, a lot of ego lifting with no eccentric, etc. It’s great that they’re exercising and being healthy but I have to consistently sprint to machines to use them because it’s not worth the 20-minute wait. And some people doing super-sets knowing equipment is limited. The leg machines squeak and when you use a heavy stack they sway and are not properly bolted down. Worth it for me in terms of distance, price ($13/$56 yearly fee), and what I need. And again the employees are terrific and cordial. But I’ll be moving gyms soon due to lack of equipment and space. Don’t go there after 5 or the afternoon on weekends. No sauna type equipment or pool and the locker room is more akin to a bathroom at a restaurant.

Bottom line if you’re an experienced lifter, this is not the gym for you. If you’re just starting out and want those noob gains without blowing your wallets back out, this is your spot.🏋️

My one year anniversary with Blink is coming up and I have been taking time to consider other gyms. I am leaning towards staying with Blink. Here is why:

-easy parking, lot right in front
-I go mid day so equipment is available always
-enough variety of free weights, kettlebells, etc and cardio equipment to keep me busy
-the staff is friendly, a helpful trainer answered my questions
-so CLEAN! The staff are constantly cleaning. A lot of vacuuming and dusting and sanitizing equipment going on while I am there. I appreciate this so much. Even the locker room is clean. Nothing on the floors and sinks and toilets and mirrors have been wiped.
-The smell of the gym is neutral. No heavy cleaning scent or stinky smells. I'm sensitive to smells(please don't wear perfume to the gym!) and would say if it was unpleasant.
-Members put the weights away!!! This is a big issue in other gyms but here people are conscious of cleaning up after themselves.
-The price is the lowest gym membership you can find which makes it no frills(no classes, no pool, no towels, etc)

For these reasons I find myself ready to commit to another year with Blink.

My suggestions to Blink to make things better: add mirrors to the front free weight area, install key locks free for members to use lockers(would solve the issue of so many people walking around with their bags/coats/etc), new yoga mats, and hang a sign stating to limit time on a machine to X minutes.

paid my past due balance and they charged me around 100 to reopen an account. few months later they cancel my account and i have a $84 outstanding balance because they charge 60 for maintenance and i was past due for 1 monthly payment. don’t know why they canceled it though because now they’re gonna want to charge me another 90 to reopen again while still having to pay the 84. nah.
they also always have a bunch of teens that come in groups and hog equipment or are really loud. not enough equipment when it busy bcuz they let ppl hog equipment while they sit on the machine on their phones for 10 min. layout is messy and can get crowded easily. plus kinda awkward how weight machines are facing cardio machines, be making eye contact with random ppl. why can’t everything face the windows? so weird

The gym’s atmosphere is really unpleasant (smell, harsh lighting, noise level, uncomfortable arrangement of equipment ), but it’s relatively inexpensive so it’s expected. The real issue is the sneaky annual auto renewal (no mention of it when signing the contract, no email reminder before the charge goes through, no reversal) and their customer service, which was unbelievably unprofessional, irritable and unhelpful even at the regional management level.

I signed a 1 year contract, I paid a year in advance. I did this so I could see if the gym was a good fit, for me. My contract expires, and I start getting past due notices. I called the "pissed consumer" line that they have set up for customers with complaints. They couldn't assist me, said I had to go to the gym. I went to gym, talked to management. Even though they could see on the computer, that I signed up for a year, and paid in advance, they were telling me that I have to pay those accumulated charges, before my membership can be terminated. I was very disappointed with how they did not disclose that there was a service fee that applies every September 3rd. When I signed up which was around the first week of august they never mentioned that I have to cancel before the 13th or I will be charged $60 for service. When I went into the cancel at the 31st of august due to school, they mentioned that I will have to pay the service fee plus an extra month of the membership in order to cancel. When I went in to apply and asked for any hidden fees they only mentioned cancelation fee if I was an orange member which made me decide to buy the blue membership. This gym is a daycare disguised as a gym: there are kids everywhere, sometimes not even lifting. I’ve seen kids just sitting on the floor or laying on a bench. Then, this gym is more of a social gathering or “networking” event for some people. I see people not lifting just chatting but taking up space and equipment. I’ve seen people finish their workout but stay to talk to people. This gym is very clean and staff are friendly for the most part, but there’s never any equipment, there are kids everywhere, and it’s overpopulated. I’m going to cancel.

Some people try to hog a machine and do something else in between. When you go to get on the machine, they say "I'm on that machine"! BS!

Be careful, because it's not as cheap as it seems. There are multiple hidden fees which are charged at different times and hidden cancellation fees. These fees are not even understood by the employees that work there, so don't rely on them to explain it.

The terms are intentionally confusing so of course they don't offer refunds. My bank had no problem giving me refunds for their deceptive business practices.

I always enjoy working out at this place, and I was member since Charter fitness then joined Blink after it remodeled. I really want to give 1 star at this moment, and I am considering to cancel my membership.

The staff are great, always friendly, above and beyond. What irritates me the most is the management has never done anything about the shortage of equipment (why ppl have to wait 30 minutes for a bar?). Even worse is the group of rude kids with their extra accessaries. Their luggage/ cloth/ food/ drinks are just everywhere, neglect how dangerous it could affect others, and they are just hanging out on the equipment for hours. I asked one of the kid how long/ how many sets he will need politely, his response was very rude/ ignorant/ sarcastic. As an adult, no one has to be at a day care center to waste time.

I try to avoid the peak time to work out, and try to be fair about how long I have occupied the equipment. As a friendly neighborhood gym, this is very unfair for all the members' time and money. We are all going there to workout to enjoy a friendly environment, not some war to fight over some equipments. It has been very disappointing for the recent visits, which my family and friends are feeling the same about the same situations. Not recommend this gym anymore, and we will keep on going to another competitive gym with most like all adults.

gym community is good, and facility is mostly clean. However, powerlifters are often getting terrorized by the management.
My first day back in a very long time, I got yelled at. Management also expects powerlifters to control extremely heavy weight which makes it very unsafe and is simply impossible to drop it down without a loud noise. There is also a new rule that I just found out today that restricts camera usage. The use of the camera is to track a lifters progress, and in my case as a powerlifter, I use it to look at my form and how to fix it.
Going here as a powerlifter is simply unreasonable as management dislikes your kind.

PS. There is at least one machine broken every single day.

Great friendly staff. Has all equipment you need - a little more than planet fitness. Seems like their trainers teach good form - I haven't used them but just from observing them train other people

I've been coming to this gym for a few years now, it's great in general, clean and organized and the staff is always nice. I'm glad they made more space between the squat racks and bench press.

The only thing they really need to do is to add a couple of Olympic barbells for the people doing deadlifts. Those bars are always taken from the bench press or squat rack and on peak hours (like from 4:30
pm to 8pm) it's always hell to try to get 1 barbell for any of those things. Please really consider this as this has been an issue since always.

The staff are very friendly, and the facility is clean and well organized. This place, however, is over-crowded during peak hours. The app delivers inaccurate information about capacity. I joined to use strength equipment 3-4 times per week. Twice last week I had to leave without touching a single piece of equipment--not a single bench, rack, or cable machine to be had; with others also waiting around. I was told I should come back at 7:30pm or 5am.

The gym is really inexpensive, thus way too crowded. Canceling is also a pain--being required to pay for 30 more days upon canceling a membership that is effectively useless is hard to stomach.

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, I get welcomed when I walk in and the staff says goodbye as I'm leaving. The equipment is clean, the barbells are organized, and the bathrooms are clean.

When I signed up my son in September 2022, they said it was ONLY $10/month. They did not mention about the anual enrollment fee ($56.99), they did not charge you at the first month, but It showed up after 2 months. It pitted me off that they hid that fee from you. There was no printout aggreement. One day there will be lawsuit against them.

Gym was nice until i noticed the men’s showers and bathrooms not being cleaned on a daily or regular basis. Toilet paper has been empty on 2 separate occasions, 1 time completely empty in both stalls at the same time while occupied. I brought this matter to several employees (multiple times) and asked this to be related to a manager over 1 month ago and nothing has changed.

I really love this gym. It’s clean with quality equipment and friendly helpful staff.

The community of people who work out here are also respectful and considerate of one another.

Being there during evening rush isn’t too bad but it can get a little tight just like every other gym.

I don’t talk to people that often when I’m there but it’s still a nice crowd to be around with very few weirdo’s if any at all.

For the basic membership I feel like you get really good quality for your buck.

Just don’t be the one wasting time sitting on your phone when other people need to use the equipment too. It’s annoying.

I'm very close to cancel my membership thanks to certain complains I made and the people who works here didn't do anything.

There's a guy who always come with a big baggage who use one machine and separate other for him. On this moments that is ALWAYS FULL I can't do most of the routine thanks to people like him that likes to use more than one machine at a time

Was visiting from out of town and was looking for a gym for the day. They were amazing at helping us out to accommodate for us to come in and workout. Extremely helpful front desk personal and great workout equipment and workout area. Highly recommend.
