I have been a member at the gym for 6+ years. The Management, Carina and Yessika do an outstanding job keeping the gym clean and orderly. There is a grocery store next door, the orange line is a few steps away and theres even a Michoacán that sells pre and post workout drinks and healthy food options!

Updated Review: I had take a star off since my last review. No complaints on staff friendliness, however, I will say management has gotten neglectful. I haven’t been able to get on the stair master in a hot minute because only 3 out the 6 are functional. It’s been maybe 2-3 months since they stopped working. One of the leg machines has been broken since the summer. Bathrooms have been dirty when they used to be clean. I like the convenience to my home and the price, but, ya’ll gotta get it together.

Been coming here consistently for almost three months and I love this gym! It is always clean and the people at the front are friendly. My only reason for one less star is for how small it is. Even when not packed, you have to wait up to 30-40 minutes for a machine because most times, there is only one machine of that sort. Wish they could expand it a bit more and add a second floor.

There are 10 piecs of equipment that are in need of repair. (Machines and cables) The water filter hasn't been replaced in 2 months. Membership is $7 dollars more than when it opened yet the gym quality has gone down. Service has been meh at best. This place feels like it's rapidly deteriorating.

This location use to be great but nowadays theres always something broken , or the water filter doesn’t get changed when the water machine is clearly red. 3 Stair masters have been down for I don't know how long and no one fixes them when there is only a max of 5 of them . I like this gym, very clean compared to others. On the other hand , I noticed there’s not enough machines for working out, for example they only have one assisted smith machine. I get it’s a small gym but these kids take a long time (usually on their phone) to workout, and it’s not during rush hour. It’s frustrating, thinking of switching to a bigger gym.

I have access to multiple gyms thru my health insurance so I’ve been to most, if not all, the chain gyms in the Midway area. I can tell you Blink Midway is by far the cleanest, most organized gym of all. They have the newest equipment and machines of all. They are smaller but have everything you possibly need to get in or stay in shape and improve your health. Did I mention how clean this place is? The staff is always cleaning! Other gyms in the area I’m hesitant to touch the old, dirty equipment even after wiping it down. Thanks to the crew that keeps this place clean and organized!

It was ok at first with a clean gym and alright equipment BUT they WILL make it impossible to change or cancel your membership.
First of all you have to be in person. They have no problem taking your money but god forbid you try to cancel on the app or thru a call
Second once you are there they WILL push every hidden fee out of their rear. I looked at my balance IN PERSON at the gym. Went to pay a fee to pay off the rest month (12$) but NOPE they CHARGED me 59.99. Staff still had the nerve to ask for those 12$ ON TOP. The only reason I have a membership its because it was "free" promo they ran on Febuary and gave me a membership and this couldve been all avoid with my last point.
Third, staff memebers aren't transperant with you. If I knew about these fee I wouldnt taken it. Simple as that. But no one is on the same page and no one explains anything. Good luck trying to reach the manager. Any major problem you have they'll just say its out of their control. What you want to call coporate? Heres a number and wow look at that! Its just billing hotline.

I want to start off by saying this is by far one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever been to and it has some of the best staff. They always greet you with a smile as you enter. However, I would NOT recommend getting a membership here. This is a gym with multiple peak hours because it is in a well populated neighborhood. Despite this, the same three machines have been out of order for MONTHS. This goes to show the importance of this establishment to give their members the best experience and time for their buck. I’ve seen machines out of order in other gyms before and it usually takes them about 3-4 days to get them fix. This is the first gym that I see only care about money and not keeping up with their equipment for their members.

The hours are horrible there is no point on being open on Sundays because the hours they are open is the time people work or go to church, Sunday afternoon is the best time to work out and they should definitely accommodate or become 24 hours. They need more machines and less cardio most of the members use the weights more than the cardio. Gym is very clean though would recommend.

I signed up to Blink fitness on the 29th of July for ten dollars a month including the first month. I got charged on the 29th of July. Fast forward a couple days later to August 3rd and I got charged another ten dollars. I was confused as to why I got charged another ten dollars couple days later. I called billing and they said theirs nothing they can do that they charge the 1st of every month. I've been to many another gyms before and never encountered that problem if anything they should have charged me September 1st. Has anyone encountered anything similar?

False advertisement, they lie to you when they say you can cancel at anytime. That's absolutely false. It takes 45 DAYS!! To cancel youmembership, and they expect you to pay those two whole months even if you don't use the facilities. Ahhh and nobody helps you. All they tell you that is what you signed up for. I never received a copy of such agreements, which I admit was faulty on my part, but I trusted them because I'd never had a problem with any other gym franchise.
I canceled the first day of the month, even before my monthly dues were due and that's when I found out about their scam.
Please do not sign up with them. If you refused to fall for this bad business practices, they'll even send you to collections. And they're not even the best gym. It's small and always crowded. Not worth the hazle.
And no you guys are not clear about your cancelation policy so stop replaying that to all of us who have already experienced the same shady response from you.

I love coming to this gym. I've been a member since July 2020. When the pandemic hit, this became my sanctuary. I didn't know how I was going to continue or even maintain the level of fitness I embarked on, due to personal reasons, but it definitely was the best investment any new gym goer could ever ask for. I've been able to reach and conquer my fitness goals and strive for new milestones. The trainers and staff are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Omar, for example, is all about results. He's keen when it comes to knowing how to properly execute compound and isolation movements. He's helped keep me grounded but also stay open minded with different exercises and not limit myself to one routine.

Aside from training, the team has Evelyn, an excellent manager who always ensures Blink's clients receive the best service while upholding their safety in this global pandemic. All machines and equipment are to be cleaned after each usage while also sporting a mask. Everyone who attends is compliant and receptive of the rules, while maintaining their focus to accomplish their goals. It's easy to communicate with one another and ask for assistance if need be. Overall, attending Blink shouldn't be viewed as a second thought, but more of an action that will enhance your day-to-day schedule.

They won't let members cancel their membership online/ over the phone when they are capable of doing so. I know most gyms have this gimmick to force people to stay in their memberships, but it's greedy to continue this practice during a pandemic that is on the rise. Why risk illness on both your members and employees.

My husband and I started a membership with Blink in August of 2019 at the South Pulaski location and were initially very satisfied with the service we received-- the overall cleanliness of the facility, and the variety of equipment-- was very good. Then the Covid-19 pandemic arrived. When the Pulaski location reopened my husband went to speak to Blink staff about how to cancel in July 2020. He was given incorrect information and told he could cancel free of charge at the end of the month. He went back at the end of July and was told he could cancel at the end of August. At the end of August he went back and was told he could cancel- but his card would still be charged for September. (We've now been able to cancel- after paying another three months worth of fees).

After attempting to call and speak to management at Blink- I received no call back. I called again- and asked again to speak to a manager. A manager eventually contacted my husband but offered nothing to compensate us for our trouble and repeated that they were sorry for our experience and that we were given false information.

I also attempted to resolve the issue via e-mail, and it still has not been resolved. Although Blink's fitness centers offers very nice equipment- we will be joining a different gym when we feel comfortable returning to the gym- where there is transparency regarding cancellation fees. I do not recommend that anyone joins Blink. Buyer beware! Pandemic or not- expect it to be difficult to cancel your membership.
