I couldn’t be happier with the services received. The individual who reached out to me after I inquired was very very rude. I have never had someone yell at me or act the way he did when trying to get me to sign up so something. They do not communicate all of the details and when you start asking questions and telling them they need to be upfront the inappropriate behavior comes out. I would avoid this place unless you want to be disrespected! Also the owner will blame you the customer for his employees rude behavior, so all around very unprofessional!

I don’t love working out, but I need to supplement my figure skating with strength training. I also want to tone and lose weight. I had a 15-min trial session, and it felt like an hour work out! Really found this to be different from my normal routine and effective. Perfect for someone who does not have much time to spend at a more traditional gym because you get challenged so quickly with the suit. Giulia is awesome and I had great workouts with other staff members too. Was sore in a good way and notice more muscle definition.

EMS workouts at Body Time are the best! Weekly, quick 20 min workouts. The trainers are all so friendly and motivating. I was nervous to try out this type of workout (I typically stick to yoga or pilates) but was hooked after the first training session! Highly recommend trying it out. The facilities are also very clean.

I am SO happy that I found this place!! My mom and I began coming here after hearing about EMS in Europe & it’s everything we hoped for an more. Not only is the 20 minute workout efficient and convenient, but it’s an awesome experience! The owners (Adrian and Florin) are so personable and knowledgeable and really make sure that I was comfortable, and motivated. They always take time to talk to me. I started body time chicago on May 11th. It has been 12 weeks. All I can say every time I come in I see that I am improving. The trainers are extremely wonderful, helpful and encouraging. I love my sessions at Body Time! The trainers always bring a fun excited attitude which always puts me in the mood for working out. And the workout itself, is unlike any other work out I've done before. It's intense but, not hard on my body and joints. Body Time Chicago never fails to give me a good workout while also making sure I have a fun time. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone with a busy schedule looking for a quick workout. I love Body Time! I am on my 6th week now and I have definitely noticed a difference! My body is more toned, significant change in my shoulders. I also feel stronger and my output on my peloton got off the chart after I hadn’t used it for a month!!! I sleep better, I have more energy and I am in a better mood. Body Time Chicago made for one of the most memorable, intense, and refreshing workouts I’ve ever had. I was pretty skeptical at first about this place, but it has completely taken me aback.
I walked in and a super friendly trainer walked me through the EMS process, calculated some percentages based off my weight, and answered questions (and doubts) I had about this whole thing. Once I got into the suit, they strapped on the vest and electrodes and hooked me up to the machine that controls the EMS impulses.
If I’m being honest, I was pretty intimidated at this part. But, my trainer Alex, walked me through everything very slowly and made sure I felt comfortable. There was never a point at which I felt pushed too hard or uncomfortable with the impulses! We started the workout with pretty simple exercises (squats, curls, lunges) while the EMS impulses were going through my body through the vest. This was a pretty strange feeling honestly, but I worked up a sweat.
By the end of the 20 minutes, I felt WORKED but my body wasn’t in any pain or stress from heavy lifting. I also loved how easy this process was on my joints - the simplicity of the exercises, combined with the impulses, made the whole workout feel deep and refreshing all at once.
I would definitely try this gym out if you’re feeling skeptical about EMS training or just want to experience a memorable workout session!

Wow! I did not expect to feel this sore after a 20 minute workout. To be honest I came in skeptical but, they quickly changed my mind. It was incredible, it was a high intensity, low impact workout, it was simple exercise that were easy to understand. And pair that with a trainer that is right there beside you the whole time taking you through the workout safely and pushing you when you need that motivation. Overall and great experience.

Review of Trial Session
Definitely a high intensity workout in 20 minutes (Apple Watch reported Peak HR for 80% of the workout). Must not have used a lot of hidden muscles, because it took me a week to recover.
Would definitely continue with further sessions-- just out of my area, so have to schedule 1-2 hours for round trip transit.

Yesterday was my first time trying EMS work-out at Body Time in Chicago and I must say I was very impressed with the results. In less than 20 minutes , I worked out my whole body. I can feel it today. Incredible, that in such short time frame you get so much. Gym was very clean and equipment sanitized with labels. Very nice touch. Workout music complimented the ambiance. I found out about Body Time from an online ad and went in just because they were giving out a free session. I had my doubts about EMS but boy it was fun. Long story short, I have been a member of BodyTime for a year now. They have a great, clean facility. All the trainers are very friendly, they keep me motivated and best at what they do. The workouts are personalized and the staff ensures you get the best workout in just 20 mins. It seems like a short duration but workouts do use a lot of energy and strength, leaving you sore - which to me is the measurement for an effective workout. I recently have started the metabolism session as well which is insanely effective. I can totally see the difference in my body composition and feel more fit. It can be a little intimidating at first but I do think this is a perfect fit for someone who is busy like me and doesn’t have all the hours of spending at the gym. Totally recommend checking them out.

To me this is the future of fitness. The training sessions are only 20min long and you are doing it only once or twice a week. I've done only 6 sessions so far and I could already see results. The friendly, knowledgeable and personable trainers and the clean and welcoming studio, make it a must visit. Body Time Chicago is a great new addition to the Lakeview neighborhood. As a parent of 2 children during Covid, I have little time for a long workout. Not only are the sessions only 20 min, I have seen a significant decrease of body fat in only 8 sessions, and have been able to do so in a nice, clean, and socially distanced personal training. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't have much free time and wants results without hour long workouts.

All I can say it’s that body times save my life. With the current situation and isolation and the fear of going back to the regular gym this is the perfect avenue for me to keep in shape and fit.

I must admit that I had my doubts about this new technology but everything changed when I walked in. The studio was clean, bright and welcoming. The staff and trainers were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The training was intense and I sweated like crazy. Two days later I was so soar and every muscle in my body was killing me.
I signed up and I will recommend this EMS to all my friends and family. Can wait to go next week!
