My daughters are both taught by Aaron now. He is awesome. He meets each swimmer at their level. He demonstrates the stroke, encourages the children to try it, gives feedback after the swimmer attempts/does it, and promotes water safety at all times. My daughters have developed into great swimmers.

I’ve been trying to contact this school for the past 3 days and no one answer their phone nor return my phone calls. I was trying to ask a question deciding if I want to enroll my son in this location, but I guess this place is unreliable.

All the staff members are friendly, and lessons have been great. My daughter cried when we had to cancel for a birthday party because she loves it so much. It is already her favorite activity! She hated the waster two months ago. It’s amazing how far she’s gotten.

1. British Swim School does not seem to ever answer their phone. 2. The instructors are okay. 3. There's a problem with the water temperature in the pool and it's not conducive to babies. I've complained and nothing is being done to adjust the temperature. Within 10 mins of being in the pool My 10months old was shivering and I could see others shivering as well. I have had to stop the swimming sessions early on 2 occasions in the first month because of this issue. I would not recommend this freezing water temperature for babies 😩. British Swim School, this is an utter disgrace! I do not recommend this school for our little ones.

Oscar is a great swim instructor at the British school of swim. My daughter started beginners courses at 5 yrs old. I have witnessed my daughter’s confidence in the water Skyrocket. She loves water parks now that she can swim.

This school has done wonders for my daughter and her swimming. When my daughter Brooklyn came in she was so afraid of water and getting her face and ears wet. Now she has no worries in the world she jumps right in and it's all because of Oscar and the time he spent with her. He is amazing at what he does and I don't think she would be as skilled as she is now. Thank you so much Oscar and British!

My grandson gets swim lessons at this location. We always make sure that Oscar is the instructor giving the class because he’s so good at his job. We would rather miss a lesson than go with a different instructor. You can tell he puts his heart into what he does. British Swim school is lucky to have him as an instructor.

Oscar is absolutely amazing! My son, Aaron, is autistic and loves his swim lessons. He is non speaking and uses a communication device that he brings into the pool with him. Oscar has learned how to use it to be able to make a stronger connection. We’re very thankful for Oscar’s dedication to make Aaron feel comfortable and for patiently teaching him a life saving skill. A large percentage of autistic children die due to drowning, this is why we we enrolled him. Safety is worth every penny. Enroll your kids in swim lessons. Not only can it save their life but it’s a great activity for children with sensory processing disorder.

My wife and I swim together here in Alsip and Matteson pools. We have learned so much in few months we have been swimming here. We wanted to learn to swim before going on our cruise, and the progress I made is incredible. My wife got me to swim because I have always avoided anywhere by water, but now we can go anywhere we want on our vacation. Thank you. Your teachers are the best!

Eden is PHENOMENAL!!!! She's so patient with Isabella! Eden helps moves Isabella along accordingly. Isabella has been so afraid of the water and now she's able to put her head under water! As a recent retiree, my goal was to learn to freestyle swim. The instructors at the British Swim School - Alsip (BSSA) helped me to reach that goal. Justine, Crystal and Miles were patient and encouraging, always challenging me to push myself and providing constructive criticism to improve upon my technique. Jasmine was also a great cheerleader and recommended helpful tips. Overall, a positive and FUN experience.

Lastly, the administrative staff was always responsive in returning my phone calls to answer questions and scheduling classes.

I'm an adult swimmer pretty much learning for the first time. Crystal has been my instructor. She has been great in giving advice and instructions. You can tell she cares about your progress. The classes do seem a bit short at 30 minutes but if you have a LA Fitness membership, you can continue to practice in an open late. All in all, I'm happy with the classes.

This is the second swim program I have tried for my son, and I am very impressed. The classes are short yet plentiful, the instructors are great and my son has learned so much in just over a month. He went from never putting face under water to full submersion and freestyling.

Really love the British Swim School's Alsip location. My children have gained significant confidence in the water along with skills. I have seen great progress over the year of lessons. The class sizes are small and instructors are caring. They really get to know your children and what they can accomplish. Billy and Cristal are two of my favorite instructors.

This is the BEST place for kids to learn how to swim. The instructors are amazing and kind (esp Heemin, Jazzmen, Oscar, Cristal, and Billy) and the classes are small so my daughter is able to get a lot of one-on-one attention. What started as a Groupon has turned into 5 years of lessons. We are extremely satisfied with her skills and look forward to her joining the swim team at her high school.

The teachers at the British school are amazing. My kids have been attending for about four months now and they love it. We have tried many different schools and this one is by far the best. Oscar, Crystal and Jasmine are all amazing instructors. Only down side is it is a little pricey compared to the others but you get what you pay for.

My granddaughter (Symone) was enrolled into the British Swim School in July of 2017. At that time she swam like a rock. It is now February 2018 and i am amazed at the progress she has made in such a short period of time. She can swim on her back, side, underwater, float, and thread water. I would like to thank three people in particular (Jasmine, Crystal, and Oscar) Symone's instructors. My hat is off to you guys.

I have been bringing my son to British Swim School for about a month and he has already improved so much! He has had a bad experience in water when he was younger but after swimming with BSS he has no fear. They are so wonderful here that I know bring my son 3 times a week! By the way Oscar is my sons favorite instructor but they all are wonderful. I highly recommend British Swim School.

My daughter took lessons here for couple months before our vacation this summer. she used to be absolutely terrified of being near water, but she was so happy and comfortable during our vacation. She's still got a long way to go to be a good swimmer, but taking lessons made a HUGE difference.
