Save your money and go to a family swim time at a local rec center. It costs $40 for a 30min class here and all they do is float on their backs. Last weekend we went to an open swim time at a local rec center. It was $15 for the whole family and we got 2hrs of swim time. Our 4yr old will learn way more there. $160 for 1 month of swim classes is ridiculous, especially when classes get cancelled and they only offer 1 makeup class that is way too late for 4yr olds.

Great location!! Great teachers. My son love going there, and is looking forward for his Saturday classes with enthusiasm. Earlier he used to struggle and was afraid of water. We attempted couple of other schools in the area. British Swim School is the best. Teachers work with students, meet them where they are and pay attention when they struggle instead of moving over to next kid. Love it!!

I have been waiting for two weeks now to enrol my toddler into Roundlake beach school. I am asked to leave a voicemail but never received a call back! Wondering if this school is in operation at all!

We love the British Swim School! Our 14 year old son has been in swim lessons off and on since he was an infant. He has extremely low muscle tone and has never been able to get the hang of the strokes and the rhythm of the breathing. During his first lesson at the British Swim School, I saw him using skills he'd never been able to accomplish before. It's only been a month and he's already starting to swim almost the length of the pool! He is so proud of himself and we are amazed at his progress. Jackie, Sean, Robert and Chris are very supportive of our son and all the kids at the pool. It's been a great experience and we're excited to continue!

Both of my daughters have learned to swim with BSS and it has been an amazing experience. Both were very hesitant to do anything in the water, but the coaches have used the perfect blend of patience and challenging my daughters to push past their fears. We currently swim with Coach Skyler and my daughter's adore her. I can honestly say I don't know where my daughters would be (swim ability-wise) without Skyler's guidance as their coach. I can't recommend British Swim School and Coach Skyler highly enough!

When we signed up our son for swim we wanted him to learn how to swim for his safety. Little did we know that it took off from there! He loves swimming so much we are continuing his classes even though we know he is safe to swim. He has really excelled his skills for swim and we couldn't be any happier! The instructors are amazing. She is patient with the kids, really great with families and you can tell she loves what she does! Our son has now been attending classes for 6 months and we’ve definitely seen an incredible improvement with how comfortable he is in the water. He’s 5 years old and had no prior experience with swimming classes. I was initially concerned that he needed to start with the basic/intro class... thinking we’d be wasting $... but he quickly learned the basic skills and the instructors were great with advancing him to the next level(s) at the right time. Asia is amazing! Kids are constantly moving in/out of levels so at times our son will be with kids more advanced or vice versa but Asia is always great at tailoring the session to each child.

We started our daughter when she was 4 months old. She's now 9 months old and we still go. Jackie the instructor has done a great job of making myself, my daughter and wife all feel very comfortable with the water. Our daughter enjoys the water and overall swim class. British swim school in Round Lake Beach is great! The swim instructors are awesome and really care about my kids learning the correct strokes and are very personable. My son is 12 years old and never had lessons prior to this and is now swimming and knows different strokes and is loving it! My daughter is 18 and has never had swim lessons as well. Growing up so she was always nervous about going to the pool. She would always hang out by the wall cause it made her feel safe. She was nervous about coming but the instructors made her feel welcomed and she ended up loving it! She learned a lot in a short amount of time!

My work schedule changes from week to week, and I love the flexibility of rescheduling a make up session. I also enjoy the flexibility of going to different area pools to be able to make up a session. My son really enjoys swimming at the Round Lake beach location. He had moved up 3 levels since he began swimming 9 months ago. He is already learning strokes I never learned in my childhood swim lessons. I think the small class sizes and energetic instructors really make a difference! Couldn't be happier with our son's experience here. Went from a kid who didn't like water to a kid who counts down the days til his next lesson. We go twice a week and our experience has been really good. The instructors are friendly, patient, kind and do a good job of building on skills week to week. My youngest has sensory processing issues and they've done a great job of building/stretching her comfort level each week while making it fun. Both my kids have gained tons of confidence in the water, and are so proud of their new skills. We're all very happy!
