Great place for seniors and young adults. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable membership fees. The fitness room is too small. Not enough fitness equipment. Hours for seniors isn't long enough. The Amory could use an update with renovations.

Ms. Makayala gets 5 stars because sheβs the best. I was playing with my child today because we got to the gym early for soccer practice literally just passing the ball and Misty said we couldnβt play. She is the supervisor so we said ok. We went to the bathroom and we see her son playing with the same soccer ball in the same space we were just having fun in. I donβt think this is fair at all.

One of the very few places in town (public or otherwise) that notices that active seniors exist. The senior center programming is comprehensive, and I LOVE the sitting yoga class I take. I wish they offered meditation and other classes that help people decompress. it is also a great source of information about activities in the neighborhood. The food did not pass my taste test.

I grew up in this place! There are activities for kids, adults and seniors. I spent many of my childhood years enjoying different programs at this facility. My parents still live in the area and enjoy the various senior events here.

I went for Friday night open volleyball. It's not what I remembered from a couple years ago. The crowd was decidedly younger, like high school. That's fine, but it was a challenge interacting and getting on the courts. It's clear they all knew each other. I wouldn't say to avoid though. Just expect a wait.

It's not just a gym. It's a cultural center, a senior center, a recreational facility for adults and children, a venue for Jackalope Theater productions, a center for Edgewater Village seniors programs, the location of a trapese training school, and so much more. What a wonderful indoor park. Nice reuse of an old historic building. My son has been in soccer and taekwondo lessons here, but I believe they are known for the gymnastics and flying trapeze programs. I am glad to live within walking distance of this place.
