This has been broken on the incline bench for months now.unracking it has become dangerous.There’s workers here who are off the clock but see people bring people who don’t pay for a membership inside.A lot of the barbells have lost their knurling/grip texture.Just needs to be taken care of more like the North Riverside one

I pay 30 bucks for this ZERO amenity gym. Massage chair is never 100 percent functional, ZERO TOWELS. how the hell do you have laundry baskets EVERYWHERE and no towels OR EVEN PAPER TOWELS?!!!?! I just had a 15 minute moral dilemma because I had to disgustingly blow my nose and there was no paper towels., toilet paper in either dispenser, OR even actual towels.... Ridiculous yall raised you price and the amenities have gone down...
Also WEAR SLIDES IN THE LOCKER ROOM IF CHANGING SHOES, two whole cans of Tinactin (athletes foot spray) later I learned their version of mopping the floor in there is taking a sopping mop and grazing the entire floor with said mop leaving a lake of even wetter and more apt to grow bacteria floor to dry.

The gym is fine and the employees have been good when needed. That said, the gym does feel a little bit dated. The men's shower area needs a complete overhaul. The shower bases look dirty most times I'm there, even moldy at times. Also employees often mop and leave the floor in the locker room SUPER slipper without even putting up signs that the floor is wet. You're literally I've skating your way out of the locker room area. I appreciate they leave disinfectant and towels and wipes up front so you can wipe down your machine when you're done using it. They have plenty of machines for just about any muscle strengthening exercise. Decent amount of treadmills and ellipticals, 4 stair climbers, 2 rowing machines, and an open area where you can place a mat on the floor and do some stretching. The 24/7 access is really the reason why I have kept the membership. Easy enter using an app on your phone. Only 1 toilet in the mens bathroom and 1 urinal and 1 sink. No bueno.
I would figure it out a way to overhaul the entire locker room /shower/toilet /sink area. Parking can also be a little tight at times but have always managed to find a spot. There's vending machine in the front with energy drinks and water and sports drinks and locker rooms have vending machines for things like locks for your locker. There is 1 or 2 machines that have been out of order for a few weeks now and one equipment has duct tape on the handles bc the padding was worn out.

Be very wary when cancelling. Get everything in writing and video record it. After I cancelled I noticed I was still being charged months later. Blocked all payments after that via my bank. Months later I got a letter from collections. The manager was extremely unprofessional and I am shocked that they'd run a business this way. A gym run by scam artists.

I go to this gym for a long time. I used to like it, but last couple of months the air is soo stuffy, fuggy, and it’s hard to breath. I don’t know if their vents are broken, or they take more people than they should, but I don’t think they would even pass inspection. Working out in those conditions shouldn’t be allowed. Who wants to have a headache every time after gym, because of poor ventilation and everything smelling to sweat, dusty air and dirtiness. I don’t want to change the gym because this one is close to my house, but will have to if they don’t change anything.

Top notch employees and facilities. Equipment is up to date and maintained. Plenty of free weights and a nice cardio area with heavy bags, sled , kettle bells , and ropes with a small turf area. If you’re from out of town looking to hit a decent gym I would most definitely recommend checking this one out, get this, if you’re new you get a Free 2Day pass and after that day passes are 5dollars a day to my knowledge. Great environment.

We cancelled our membership, in person, about 10 months ago. They made some kind of mistake because they continued to charge us and then sent a bill of 145 dollars to collections. They did not call, email, or post mail us to inform us that we were still being charged or still had a membership or that they were turning this in to collections. Furthermore they told us that they could not correct this mistake until we paid collections and that they could not discuss our account with us due to it being in collections. We were never given the opportunity to FIX THEIR mistake. I hope if you’re reading this you stay FAR FAR away from this place because now we have a huge mess to fix due to them being so disorganized! And the options we have are to dispute the claim and risk it being submitted to our credit report or just paying 145 dollars for services we did not want OR USE. On yelp, I see that this is a reoccurring problem and they did this to a 80+ yo woman in Park Ridge. Y’all must be going bankrupt.

Been a member for a few years now. Just started going back after 1 1/2 years due to Covid. I'm impressed with the newer machines and remodeling. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My only gripe is that they don't enforce the mask policy. I'm a senior with health issues and I have to be very careful.

I joined online after being referred to my wife (then girlfriend). I immediately quit after my wife was accused by a staff member of training her friend. This was 2014. I recently began receiving pat due notices. I tried to contact them, I received the voice-mail and the v.m. was full. I then received a notice saying my account was being sent to collections! I ended my membership with Charter fitness more than 5 years ago. Last week I received an email from the new management stating they put me into collections for non-payment. They claimed they would remove my account from collections if I signed up again. I have proof I ended my account, and don't owe any money. This gym is illegally falsifying debts owed and extorting people into signing up for their gym to have the collections removed.

I would still be 125lbs without this gym it started me out and I joined back up. I love they put in a boxing area. Saves me some days from driving to both gyms because I can practice there. A+. Except I used to manage there and they made me cover my non gang related tattoo in dead summer in a long sleeve and a manager the other day was trotting around in gym shorts lol it is what it is

As this has been my gym for over a year I am pleased with the location, equipment, and friendliness of the staff.
