I really wish they would lower the temperature or improve ventilation. It’s often around 71°F inside and stuffy, and for anyone doing serious workouts or people with conditions like POTS, asthma, or anemia, it’s genuinely hard to get through sets without feeling faint. It’s currently 51°F outside, so even opening the door a bit of fresh air would help. Please consider cooling the gym down — it would make a huge difference.

Canceled my membership in May, they billed me again in June. Went back in again and canceled again in june, they just billed me again in July. Literal FRAUD!!!! But luckily i had them print out my cancelation request for proof, so i will be filing it as fraud with my credit card company.

We’ve been going here for about a year now and really like it. They have areas for training and it’s a great atmosphere everywhere. There are cleaning/sanitizing spray bottles located at the counter. There are not always towels to wipe so I would suggest bringing your own when staff isn’t there. Staff is very friendly and courteous and seem to really care about the place from what I can tell and are very helpful if you have questions. They offer a variety of gym equiptment to use and also a hydro massage bed. We are going to continue our membership.

CFX is a clean gym with friendly staff. They always help me with my gym needs. They are very knowledgeable about the gym equipment. I would definitely recommend this gym to everyone. The personal training program they have there is one of the best! Carlos Is the best trainer over there! Joe the person up front is very knowledgeable about the supplements and how to fix accounts! 10/10 There is no other gym I would want to be at.

Maintenance is poor at this location. I see a lot of equipment missing grips and worn down. I had told the staff and managers on a few occasions now and pretty much just been ignored.I like this gym for location, but I can’t see it being here down the road if they can’t do the little things. Weights are very limited here as well so if you go during the busy hours your going to spend too much time looking for plates or dumbells

Crowded with teenagers either on their phones or acting up. People who want to workout have to wait for some kid to get off his phone or return to his bench because he is wrestling with his friends. There is no supervision after 8, so it's mad house, but I was there at 7:20. Giants bags everywhere, or they empty their pockets, and you have to avoid their mess. No gym etiquette, and no one willing to tell them the rules.

Broken old and worn equipment. Facilities are unclean. Smells like an old mop crossed with a forgotten sock in the trunk from 2 summers ago.

Canceled my membership in person then was charged for months after I left the state. Had to hire an attorney to get company off my credit.

Not sure I’ve ever recommended PF but in this case you’re better off.

A very convenient place to workout less than 5 minutes from my residence. Considering I work out in the very early mornings, they need to do better with having towels available to clean the machines. I get there’s limited staff but I’m skeptical especially since COVID of the inability to clean machines once using them. Other than that, the staff are friendly, the people are friendly and it’s never overcrowded.

It’s nice that they’re open late but there’s no upkeep on the machines- some are missing padding on the hand grips, such as the leg press machine.

They also don’t bother to stock enough towels for the people who come to work out during non-staffed hours, and since there are no paper towel dispensers that means you can’t wipe down equipment, which is disgusting. The chance of catching ringworm, c diff, or any illness is significantly higher here than any other gym becayse they only use plain towels and neglect to properly supply them. For the price, they should be putting in more effort for their members instead of encouraging their sweaty equipment to marinate all night.

Alex has been the best personal trainer I've EVER had! As someone who had a lot of gym anxiety, she has kept me coming back and feeling confident in my abilities!

She is extremely considerate of your starting point, physical limitations, and health conditions. I have had a lot of health issues this past year where it's made things really hard for me but shes always been there helping me overcome some obstacles little by little. It's always a pleasant time working with her and I feel healthier than ever.

If you're considering a gym, definitely sign up for CFX and get training with Alex! Every penny is worth it! And I promise you, you will stick to the gym with her !

Update: I wanted to add another reason why you should sign up with Alex as a personal trainer! She is committed to learning more and more about the body especially if you have a chronic condition. Just to know and expand upon her already expansive knowledge.

It doesn’t feel like this gym is designed for anyone to make any progress but a place for just general exercise. There’s a vibe of judgement for lifting heavy. Broken/worn down cable attachments. Half of the benches and chairs are super wobbly and need to be tightened but I guess they don’t have hex keys or a screwdriver here. The app to open the door hasn’t worked once for me they had to give me key tag that also fails every now and then.

Been going here for six months in my lifting journey. I managed to visit other locations, and this one at many hours of the day. This is my favorite one. It’s got a more open feel to it. I’ve never had to wait for equipment. There’s plenty of diversity, and always felt judgement free zone. It is true the staff are understaffed, considering they do it all. From cleaning, to signing you up, etc. The only thing I wish they kept up with is the waterbeds. It’s my favorite thing to do there for my lower back pain. But it seems there’s always one machine down. I say for the money, it’s a nice environment. Otherwise you’re looking at planet fitness, or your local Rec center. Give them a try

This is a basic fitness facility at a great price! If you're looking for "bells and whistles," pay “3-digits” (and get a facial in the process). Otherwise, everything you need is at a CFX location. Why only 3-stars? Because, unfortunately, the club is usually pretty dirty (especially the bathroom areas) with some equipment in various stages of disrepair! Face it, when you pay "3-digits" at the other clubs you also pay for steam, sauna, a mini restaurant, a day spa, along with an on-site cleaning staff and other employees who can repair/replace faulty equipment—not CFX. You can tell that the CFX staff is stretched thin—covering phones, personal training, cleaning (when they can), laundry, teaching classes, rotating between clubs, etc. So, is CFX worth it? Absolutely! Firstly, I have my own cleaning rags (because they always run out of small towels). Secondly, I bring my iPad to watch programs because few of the outlets work on the machines. Thirdly, I take comfort in the fact that I’m working on my health, regardless of the condition of the facility. Additionally, I do use the showers which are always clean! Plus, the water is hot with strong pressure (comparable to the “3-digit” clubs). Finally, and I don’t know how they do it, but CFX hires some of the nicest people on the planet! I’ve visited a few different locations, and the staff is always professional, patient, and accommodating! So, here are my final numbers: Staff = 5, Location/s = 5, Amenities = 2 (but, that’s ok, you get what you pay for), Cleanliness = 1.

During covid-19 I tried to cancel my membership they told me I couldn't bc the building was closed. I would have to wait till they opened again. After they start opening gyms I called them up and asked about closing my account they said I would have to come in and write a letter. I went I and did what they asked 3 months later they continued to take out my membership. I called them and asked. They said no1 canceled it and I would have to come in. I was like I just did that and they said that person never canceled it. What a scam I'm refusing to pay. They just sent my membership to collections. I filed with the bbb to dispute it. We joined before they opened . My only question was would concealed carry be allowed, the answer was yes. When they opened there was a no concealed carry sticker in the window. We talked to the counter person and sent a letter canceling our membership. For several months they kept taking money from our account till we went to the bank and stopped their access. Now 4 years later they say we owe money on a month to month membership and their gonna send it to collections unless we want to become members again. . Be careful make sure when you cancel your membership to go to your bank and cancel their access.
