My 4 y.o. daughter is taking preschool gymnastics here. She has always been pretty risk averse (afraid to go down big slides and climb certain playground equipment). Since starting this class, she is becoming more confident with her body and more willing to take risk and learn and explore the world around her.
The preschool room is designed in a smart way with ramp mats to help with tumbling and hand and foot prints on the floor to guide the children. There are big tv screens in the waiting area for parents to watch the class.
It’s not a fancy spot but the most important thing is that she loves it! Definitely recommend.

My daughter has improved her tumbling skills so much with the group classes. All the staff and coaches are super friendly, and they really motivate her to do her best. (Special shout-out to Coach Sam who had a lot of patience with her, and Coach John who helped her break through to her back handspring!) Highly recommend Cheer Destiny!

We were really looking forward to giving them a try. I explained from the very beginning that my daughter is on the spectrum and wanted something to get her motivated and comfortable with engaging with others.
I will say the receptionist is very sweet other than that nothing was organized while we were there we had no clue what to do! The coach didn’t introduce herself or even engage with my daughter. We were told to sit on a Matt or the bench and that was it! No efforts were made whatsoever!
I tried encouraging my daughter to do as the other kids were from the sideline. Yes she was crying a bit at first but was over it fairly quickly as well. She wanted to join in or for me to walk her over but we weren’t even so much as looked at so I could ask if that was okay to do. Or what options we did have.
I was so irritated that we got up and left even with that there was no efforts or acknowledgment from ANY of the staff.
We left with so many upsetting emotions! If they don’t want new people they shouldn’t have allowed us to come in.

We absolutely love Cheer Destiny. We are on our second season of competitive Allstar cheer, beginning at age five. My little one came into tryouts not even knowing how to do a forward roll and am in awe of the progress she has made with the help of so many coaches at Cheer Destiny. The cheer coaches are patient yet firm with the girls, teach them to believe in themselves and trust their teammates, and my little one has learned so much about accountability, respect, persistence, and what it means to be a part of a team and a good teammate, and has grown as a leader in her second year. Her confidence has absolutely blossomed as a result of cheer, her kindergarten teachers even specifically noted it last year during parent/teacher conferences. The children and parents are so kind and wonderful - the community is amazing and it is definitely safe to say we both have made life-long friendships. We also CANNOT rave enough about Coach Carter - he is kind, patient, and gentle with the kids he coaches and cannot recommend him enough for private tumbling lessons! The coaches are accessible and provide great and thoughtful feedback proactively and if you request it. We have done tumbling classes, tumbling clinics, cheer camps, tumbling intensives, private tumbling lessons, and two years of Tiny division Allstar cheer - happy to answer any questions!

We’ve been so impressed with the tumbling class! My daughter started with no experience, and after just a few sessions, she was able to master the basics and even go beyond. The moment she landed her first cartwheel, her face lit up with pure joy—it was such a confidence boost for her! The class has not only helped her improve her skills but also encouraged her to keep trying new challenges. Coach John is fantastic, creating a positive and supportive environment. I highly recommend this tumbling class to anyone looking to boost their child's confidence and skills!

Adult open gyms are an amazing experience every time! Athletes of all types (Gymnasts, Cheerleaders, Parkour/Tricksters, Acrobats, etc.) always have a friendly environment here. People love to collaborate and a great place to stay involved in the sport! Thanks Cheer Destiny for being an establishment that provides this opportunity!

LIKE I SAID our kids did not get the same respectful opportunity to explain their side before being overwhelmed and silenced when they had to speak in front of 10 people after being called bullies. JOHN you and CHRISTINA also did not address or acknowledge the resolution after being resolved by the parents with no commentary or rectification from the staff involved into the discussion prior to the resolution. Also, despite the suggestions on what was needed for our girls to advance their skills doesn’t over rule the fact that for a child to change their behavior and feel motivated they have to be encouraged by the ones teaching them! And that for a fact was NOT what was being done in those practices. We bared first hand witness to the disgrace at the first competition, being the main reason why we decided to withdraw and no longer take the obvious discrimination and disappointment that was displayed that day. It is imperial for you JOHN to take offense to what was said because in reality that guilty conscious makes you defensive. We were committed parents and if the allegations we are making didn’t hold truth you wouldn’t be so damn adamant about having a rebuttal for every point being made. I despise of people like YOU meaning never able to take accountability when you know how messed up YOUR professionalism was towards us, so quick to respond to this review, but could NEVER give us a full face to face adult apology. “Cheer Destiny is celebrated as one of the most multi-ethnic diverse cheerleading gyms in the Chicagoland Area” NOW because they don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. You playing with a child of God, who is blessed and HIGHLY FAVORED you will reap what you sow.

I am so happy with our decision to enroll our daughter in tumbling and high school cheer prep at Cheer Destiny. Her tumbling skills have substantially improved with the coaches here. The coaches are fantastic, especially Ryan. He is very patient, and is able to get his students to push themselves to get to the next level. I highly recommend signing your child up for the classes offered here.

I had a horrible experience at this place . Do not take your kids here !! they have no patience for little kids i took my 3 year old to meet the school then a free trial the girl in the front desk is wonderful but everyone else is not there was a moment in the camera where you can’t see my daughter for about 4 mins and i asked her what happen before you walked out and she shows me how they pulled her arm . when the teacher walked behind her all she said was like she didn’t want to do it she left when she’s suppose to be the teacher and persuade the children to do the activities and then she said she can get her stuff together and then come back inside mind you it was her first time she was super excited it was as if they don’t want new kids to join very disappointed will be looking for another school. Would not recommend they new to hire real professionals not just high school teenagers .
Response : It will be the last time i address this the instructor never mention that i was able to be inside with my daughter. I fully understand my daughter’s age and where she’s at as i myself work with children of all ages . I understand it takes time and adaptation but professionally speaking instructors should be capable of encouraging kids to the new environment and make them feel welcomed that was not the case for example she was never greeted all they asked was is that “name” and they went on with there line there wasn’t any type of encouragement from the instructors part whatsoever . As i mentioned already she came back to me the instructor said she didn’t want to do it she walked away . The front desk young lady is very nice like i had previously mentioned but she did not ask me what you’re saying she asked me . She was on the computer if you check your cameras you are able to see that it wasn’t until i nicely asked her if she could bring me my daughters water bottle and she did . My daughter was nervous so that most likely made her feel something in her stomach she did not feel welcomed . i felt so bad as a parent of the treatment she was given so i decided to visit another school as soon as she walked in she was greeted and welcomed i hope i educated you on my point of this situation.

An ok place to learn tumbling. Coaches are nice. The sessions are only 45 minutes a week and you cant go to multiple classes a week. I thought this would be a good way to get my daughter out of her phone but with only 45 minute classes and only once a week, it doesn’t help much. I think we should get to go at least 3 times a week with the way they charge. The coaches are there everyday anyway. Also the parking is a huge issue! I have been going for a month and I have never been able to park in the parking lot.

I sent my daughter here but had to withdraw because it was too far. When canceling I was told they’d wave my late fee because they never called me when I requested within the 24hr timeframe to pay over the phone and then was told my only remaining balance was the one listed. I thereafter received an email about three weeks later stating I didn’t make my august payment and I was still required to pay because I didn’t give a 30 day notice which meant I would’ve needed to know when I signed her up that I would be withdrawing. I sent a emailing stating no one told me this even I spoke to them over the phone she said I could make up the classes she missed that I paid for bc it was taking an hour to get there. That would have been a fine time to say she can continue to come through August bc you have to pay for it. After that email, I suddenly received a cancellation confirmation emailing stating she would be able to attend for August and we were already half way through August. Today, not only did they withdraw the August fee but the late charge that they originally canceled.. Essentially, they are unprofessional and fraudulent.

My daughter started with Cheer Destiny two years ago on the travel team. We are about to enter our third season! The Cheer Destiny coaches and staff genuinely care about the children and are amazing role models. They offer a competitive and nurturing environment. My daughter has learned so many invaluable lessons about competing on a team. She has grown so much as an athlete and a person. She has made so many new friends and so have we. I came into cheer destiny with absolutely no tumbling experience but since I started privates with coach John about three months ago, I have gotten my standing back handspring, round off back handspring, and I am working on standing double back handsprings, round off double back handsprings, and back tucks. Coach John is so nice and he really helps me get past my anxiety to be able to do the skills I want to learn.

My daughter started at Cheer Destiny to get ready for high school cheer tryouts. Coach Cat quickly took her from not being able to to a back bend to being able to back and front walk-overs and now is helping her to get her back handspring. Coach Cat is a master motivator, and knows how to combine fun and firmness to help her athletes progress. My daughter loves her private lessons with Cat, and also has worked with many of the other awesome coaches in classes and now on a team as well. We feel that we are in the right place to get ready for high school cheer! Thanks Cheer Destiny!

My son has been a member of Cheer Destiny for a little over a year. In this time I have watched him gain confidence, lose weight, learn new skills and in general become more comfortable with himself. While he historically had a difficult time in large group settings due to his dual diagnosis of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cheer Destiny has provided a safe and friendly space for him to practice his social skills and make new friends while having fun. He's grown so much, socially, mentally and physically. I would recommend their programs to any family looking to see their kids become the best versions of themselves possible. The care and enthusiasm that Coach John and his team bring to the table is authentic, and really the heart of the program! I could not be happier, or more satisfied with my experience.

I would like to say that Cheer destiny is a wonderful place. My 2 children have learned so much these past few months. I can truly see a difference in my children's form. My younger son didn't even know how to do a cartwheel a few months ago and now is a pro at it. My older one can almost do the splits now and he wasn't even that close to being flexible at the beginning of this year. The coaches are wonderful, friendly, and work so well with the kids. They make it their goal to bring the best out in my children and I am truly thankful for that.
And the owner, John, is absolutely wonderful. He is so positive and goal oriented and it truly shows. He makes all the kids feel like they can succeed and that working hard pays off.
Thank you, everyone at Cheer Destiny for doing what you do. You are all outstanding!
I definitely would recommend for anyone who has kids that want to get into tumbling and parkour. My two boys love it!!! I personally haven't had my boys in the cheer portion, but from what i have witnessed when i bring my boys to the classes, i see and hear only good things!!!❤❤

I seriously cannot be more thankful and grateful that my daughter has met these positive humans! She was starting to get to a already worried pediatrician for her unhealthily weight for her age and height in 2016 ... I had tried to have her play soccer and ballet to help keep her active but after a certain age ballet wasn’t her focus and soccer was, but it was where she loved the sport enough that she wanted to play but because of her extra weight she got tired easy. After one spring season, she chose to just watch the sport on tv or others play. I didn’t think... truly didn’t think that what I was feeding her was really making her this unhealthy.
I figured her activity level at school 2 times a week for 30 mins was enough. It wasn’t until end of 2016 that I saw a picture of my child, I knew right hen and there I HAD to do something... a-lot of health issues run through my family and I wanted to avoid that for her as much as I could. I started changing her eating habits and since it was winter not much we could do. I waited until end of spring/beginning of summer 2017 I googled cheerleading teams, my kiddo mentioned to me how she wished she could do flipz like her cousins that were on allstar teams out of state. And she tried at home but always got discouraged because she couldn't even do a summersault ! My heart truly ached for my kiddo. I finally found CHEER DESTINY and when I called I got a very friendly knowledgeable person on the line... Ms Rozy, she answered every single question I had. Ensured me that no experience was needed for the beginners team and they would help teach her how to do stunts. I went in that weekend and met with Coach Jesus, he let my kiddo try out a flipz class with Coach Cat and after 45 she was DRENCHED in sweat, but HAPPY! I signed her up that same day she started the following week 2xs a week for 2 hours and 1 day a week flipz class for 45 mins. After a month into cheer my kiddo BEGGED me to take her out of the team she said “its hard, I will pay them to let me quit” I cant lie, I actually thought about pulling her out. Then I realized what type of example will I be showing her that it is okay to quit something you start, when it is NOT! She grew a sister friendship with girls on the team a VERY POSITIVE relationship with her Coaches... so I told her NO she will NOT quit, she would finish the season and if she decided next season no more, then she wouldn't have to sign up again. After we signed her up she and I both got some reality from Coach Cat! Lol she instilled junk food... no-more... juices sugar drinks... no more... after that my kiddo did a 360 on me with eating habits. I saw a change in her physically, mentally, emotionally, even verbally! I looked back at some pictures of her 2016 and 2017 and now 2018 and cannot BELIEVE the progress she has made and I cant put into any thing how thankful I am for this facility and for her coaches, Coach John, Coach Cat, Coach Jesus , Coach Tim , Ms Rozy... you all have helped me put her in the right path and now she is putting ME in the right healthy path! She even chose to sign up again this season for cheer! Thank you for EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR THESE CHILDREN! The POSITIVE VIBES when we walk into the gym... what I personally LOVE about the facility is that there is ALWAYS a NO BULLYING ZONE! Now a days it is hard to come by a place that has Zero tolerance for that. Another thing I LOVE is that coaches and Ms Rozy know the parents names and the child's names without having to look at papers and if you need ANYTHING they literally stop what they are doing to help you, you are not just another payment to them... they have become our family as well! And all the new friends she has made a bond that will surely stay a lifetime no matter where these girls go in life ♥️

I've known Cheer Destiny's owner John for over 6 years now. My daughter started with Cheer Destiny at the age of 10 and is currently 16 yrs old & on their All Star Senior Level 3 team! The coaches are such an inspirational and encouraging group. They truly put the kids first. They are all about personal development and personal growth. John, the owner, is not just a coach, he is also a role model to my teen. My daughter's plan is to someday be as good of a coach to young children as they have been to her all these years!! They are truly her second family.

My daughter, Sophie, has been attending Cheer Destiny for just about a year to improve her tumbling skills for cheerleading. She has been in other programs and honestly dreaded each class. However, her love of cheerleading and desire to keep her skills current kept her taking those classes that she hated. We tried out Cheer Destiny and she liked it! That like grew to love, pretty quickly. Number one, she felt welcomed. Each and every class. The coaches make it their priority to know each student. Number two, she felt welcomed by the students! The other students in her class weren't cliquey or standoffish. They welcomed her and became her friend. Number three, John and staff makes each family feel like part of the team. My husband does the chauffeuring and I hadn't had the chance to meet John face to face until just yesterday. However, without even ever meeting him, I feel like a friend and valued customer through social media. He truly is a gem. My daughter is moving into high school and has been BEGGING to join Cheer Destiny's All Star team. Not only has she been begging me, but other girls have approached me wanting her to join. It is a feel good place filled with not only excellent coaching, but with phenomenal character education, and FANTASTIC modeling of kindness and sportsmanship. We are honored to be part of such a great cheer family, and we hope to continue for many years.

From the moment we walked in to Cheer Destiny everyone was very welcoming. We started coming to they gym with a cheer team and continued coming here for tumbling classes. My daughter's confidence level throughout this past year has been over all life changing. Before attending Cheer Destiny she was very shy and always stuck to my side. Although she had been cheering at another program before, we feel that the coaches here gave her the confidence she needed to believe in her self. As well as, trust to tell her coaches if something is bothering her. My daughter has become a more sociable, confident, and outgoing person among her peers. She looks forward to coming here everyday. The support system from all the coaches in the gym has helped her in many ways. Now she is a part of Cheer Destiny Allstar Team WAVE. We look forward to many more seasons to come and for her to become the best cheerleader she can be with the help of every coach at CHEER DESTINY!!

Before signing up your child at this facility go to YouTube and watch the performance that was choreographed last year for cheer destiny its embarrassing to say the least. Definitely not worth wasting the 400 dollars a month that is outrageous for the low quality of coaching or I should say lack of coaching. The girls are wonderful that participate its not their fault the facility doesn't know what they are doing. The stunts are beyond below expectation of a competitive team as well as the tumbling skills and the choreography looks like a 3rd grader put it together. IF you want to see what a competitive cheer team should look like look up legendary cheer or even in the Recreational competitive teams look up The eagles in Lake in the Hills which is 1000 times more professional and cost 700 dollars for the whole year. Also cheer destiny is NOT air conditioned and gets up to 118 degrees in the gym, very unhealthy for kids and unrealistic. On top of the scam that is pulled with not getting permission to withdraw funds if you use your credit card. And the ignorant refusal to refund your money once you've noticed them emptying out your bank account without your permission. Im a professional USAG Junior Olympic Gymnastics Instructor and will share with you that if your child is enrolled in a program for longer then 12 weeks with a class or 5 private lessons and has not progressed in learning their back handspring then the Instructors aren't doing their job, or don't know how to do their job. And from what I've seen a lot of those children aren't learning anything of a progression at this facility. And the quality of what is taught is a very very poor quality.

Qualified coaches in tumbling, cheer, and parkour, awesome space (which they are continuously updating!), and convenient location. They are still new & growing, so I'm excited to see what the team will accomplish!

This place is a well rounded facility providing a spring floor, tumble track and mats for practicing. For us freerunners we enjoy the parkour equipment, solid walls, and obstacle mats for training, especially during the winter months when it's cold out. The biggest plus for me is the 2-3 hour open gyms for only $5.
