It was truly fortunate for us to discover this place—it’s a hidden gem. We first found it online and booked an appointment for an initial body evaluation and a brief counseling session. From there, the coach created a concrete plan tailored to our needs, and we trusted it 100%.
Was it painful and slow to build up? Absolutely. But in the end, every bit of effort paid off, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.Everyone at this gym is not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable about health management and guiding us toward a successful journey. Thanks to them, we’ve grown both physically and mentally stronger.

I've been a member at CFP for just over 1.5 years and would highly recommend this gym. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, and all of the trainers are motivating, professional, and attentive. While the workouts follow a structured program, individual exercises can be modified based on your fitness level or to work around injuries.
Training blocks are thoughtfully programmed with a focus on functional fitness, helping you build real strength over time. You track your progress week by week, which keeps you motivated and shows how far you’ve come.
It’s a welcoming, encouraging environment where everyone works hard and supports each other. The community is one of the best parts: so many great people work out here, and it’s genuinely a joy to be part of it.

CFP is a wonderful place where you can start or re-start your exercise routine. Not only do you meet great teammates, but coaches are also very knowledgeable and can fit any program to your strengths and lifestyle. I’ve been working out at Chicago Fit Performance since moving to Chicago just under a year ago, and I’ve just completed my first team challenge (we worked together to earn points based on step count, weekly workouts and ultimately inches lost etc.). I really enjoy the small group personal training classes - they’re so enjoyable, and were a great place to meet people. The trainers are all knowledgeable and really motivating - it’s been such a supportive environment, encouraging me all the way to getting more toned, getting fitter and stronger and feeling better about myself. There are online class options if you can’t make a class in person, but the in-person classes are the best. Coach Kosta always makes sure the workouts are challenging and different, so it doesn’t get boring. Couldn’t recommend CFP more!

I have been a member of CFP for nearly two years now. I joined because regardless of being very active and working out I felt stagnant in my body image and still far away from my goals, which were not only weight loss, but generally getting stronger and more physically capable, and prepare my body to have a child. With a mix of personal trainings and group classes I have definitely made great progress. The team is extremely knowledgeable and I never had to worry if I was doing exercises incorrectly, or doing something that was too much for my body. Classes have a great variation of movements and you never have to worry you’d be bored doing the same thing over and over again. CFP trainers successfully worked around my injury, and eventually helped me stay active throughout my pregnancy (which they are all certified to train pregnant people). I added a picture of me on the day I joined, and a few pictures from the last few months to show some visual differences. I highly recommend CFP for someone looking to get their workouts to a higher level of structure and achieve physical goals whatever they might be

CFP took my working out to a new level. I signed up for their 8 week challenge and loved every bit of it. Work outs were very well structured and offered a great variety of exercises. The coaches are very attentive to each person and remember everyone’s injuries and weights from previous week! Kosta is an immersive source of information and deeply cares for each of his clients’ needs and interests. He offered us daily lessons and numerous nutrition and meal prep guides which we can take and use forever. Gosh, where do I even begin? I am a HUGE CFP fan! I have been going to CFP for ~8 months and it has been such a fun ride. When I joined CFP last October my goal was to do a body re-comp (by shedding fat and building muscle mass). I had done some strength training prior to CFP but was not getting the results I wanted. I decided to join CFP because I wanted to “up” my strength training game but did not have the time to create and manage a proper personal training program. Since joining I have gained 3% in muscle mass and lost 4% in body fat. I have also lost 10 pounds. To top it off - I am lifting heavier than I have ever lifted before.
What I love about CFP:
- They listen to your goals and help you reach them. I told Kosta from day one that my goal was to lose body fat and increase muscle mass. He listened and developed a plan to help me get there. I also told Kosta a few months ago that one of my goals is to be able to do pull-ups. He listened and added a progressive pull-up plan to my program.
- They like to have fun, but will kick your butt at the same time. I look forward to my training sessions. I know Kosta and Matt are going to kick my butt, but we always have a good laugh while doing it.
- I get to listen to my favorite workout toons. I told CFP that music is a big motivator for me during workouts. They recommended I create a playlist that we use during our workouts. It may seem like a small touch but for me it makes a big difference.
- The people. All the trainers are passionate about what they do and it shows. They also have a genuine interest in helping you reach your goals and at this point, they feel like family.

I can’t express how wonderful my experience with CFP has been. I have always liked fitness and challenging myself, but I had hit a plateau and was looking for more guidance. There is a lot of information out there regarding fitness and nutrition and it can be overwhelming and misguiding. Kosta and the coaches helped me focus on what was important for me. They guided me with a wealth of knowledge and patience to help me not only achieve my goals but also help me implement invaluable life style changes.
Their approach to fitness is refreshing and dare I say it, FUN! Your fitness level does not matter at CFP. I joined CFP for the 8 week challenge after not seeing results from weight lifting at my regular gym. The program was very detailed, specific, and was exactly the challenge I needed. The gym is very nice and conveniently located. I saw more results from the program within 8 weeks than I had in a year of weight lifting on my own. I highly recommend the gym for anyone who wants to adopt healthier habits but just doesn’t know where to start or just needs a little push. CFP is a wonderful gym. Not only do you learn how to properly and safely strength train, you also are taught how to effectively warm up, stretch and progressive overload week after week. The gym is small and intimate, while having some of the best equipment I’ve ever utilized. I've been a member at CFP since 2016. I am also a fitness instructor who is very selective on where I spend my time/money working out.
Why I LOVE CFP:
1. Coaches - they are extremely knowledgeable in fitness/wellness - nutrition, pregnancy, weight loss, strength building, etc. They are always in continuing education and implementing new exercises and equipment. You feel they are the experts and you learn so much from them. They are also super nice and welcoming!
2. Workouts - You are on a fitness program targeting specific muscle groups in a sequential way. This is not like going to workout classes where you do similar exercises every time. CFP workouts are intentionally programmed to strengthen and burn calories. the coaches are very dedicated to their clients and customizing a plan that works best for individual's situations/goals/physical capabilities. No 2 workouts are the same so you never get bored.
3. Cleanliness - I've never seen a gym as clean and organized. There is an indoor shoes only policy (no outdoor shoes in the workout area); I wish all gyms followed that model!
4. Community - the coaches become your friends and you get to know all the members. You see the same people regularly and everyone is so nice and friendly!
5. Results - I truly feel my strongest and leanest and believe CFP is the reason I stay fit. I still enjoy my other workout classes (yoga, pilates) and other activities (rollerblading, tennis). But, CFP is the best way to stay on a program and get fit for the long term.

CFP is simply the best! I joined them almost 2 years ago for the 8-week challenge and never stopped! I was very nervous to begin because at that time I was just coming out of post back surgery physical therapy - but oh boy did they whip me into shape safely. You are not just a number here, all the coaches get to know you and they push you within your limits! My husband also goes here (and he loves it) and I feel like they are out extended family. Sometimes we bring our kids with us - but they only come to see Kosta's dog Spike (but you can't blame them as he is so cute) or coaches use them for extra weight on the sled (totally see the picture). So if you seriously want to be healthier overall - this is your gym! It offers so much more than just work outs. Owner Kosta has an abundance of nutrition information as well!! We love CFP!!

I joined CFP for a summer challenge via Groupon last summer and didn’t stick with it because I wasn’t ready to make the commitment to myself but was impressed with the instructor, owner and their approach. This February I was ready, actually signed up for the membership and I have to say it is the best thing I ever did for myself. Accountability, Family, Support, and Amazing Workouts these are just a few things that come to mind when I think about what I have found by being a CFP member. When I need help figuring out my fitness goals there is no question that they won’t help me figure out. They also are great by being realistic even when you aren’t for yourself. As Kosta (Owner/Trainor) has said to me: “it isn’t about being perfect it’s about making progress.”
I highly recommend this family (because that’s what you join)!

Every January I list "lose weight/exercise more" as one of my New Year's resolutions. Well this year, I decided to take action. I randomly came across CFP's 8-week transformation challenge on Facebook, and participating has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The CFP team has taught me so much, motivated me, and pushed me through exercises I never thought I could accomplish. In addition to the 3 sessions per week, they also provided at-home workout routines, and coaching on how to eat more healthy, and even critiqued my daily meals with tips on how I could improve them. I love that they are not just trying to get new members, but really care about their members and are committed to helping them succeed. CFP has provided the perfect jump start to my new path of healthy living. As an added bonus, the facility location is super accessible by car or public transportation, and has free parking.

CFP offers me a sense of community and accountability that I haven't been able to find at other gyms. The workouts are structured in format but the exercises are ever-changing which keeps the workout interesting and challenging. Kosta and his team know all of their members by name, and offer the right amount of motivation and toughness to push you to give your all during each and every session. After 2 months, I feel fitter and stronger than I have in a very long time and I know that I will continue to improve. ONE YEAR UPDATE
I've been training with CFP for about a year now and continue to get everything I hope for from it. As you might expect from a training setup like this, there are great workouts. The trainers Kosta and Joe do an amazing job of coming up with sets of exercises that keep things interesting each week and keep me excited to come each morning, even at 5:30, even after a year of this. They are great at keeping you motivated and working hard without making you feel berated. Support for heart rate monitors and weekly challenges really keep us pushing our limits each day. Beyond that, though, CFP provides help for the many hours of the week we aren't at the gym. They send great advice and are always willing to answer any questions. They bug you as much or as little as you need/want to reach your goals. CFP truly has been much more than a gym for me: it's a full suite of tools to help me exercise the way I want, eat the way I should, and get to and stay in the shape I want to be.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
I'm nearly done with CFP's 8 week transformation challenge, and Kosta and the team have created the most effective exercise and nutrition program I've ever done. I'm a 34-year-old male and started the challenge at 280. After 6 weeks, I'm down to 246, about 5-6 pounds a week. Previous attempts to get fit had me losing about 2 pounds a week, and I was either doing 1-2 hours of cardio every day or eating very little to maintain that. CFP has found a great balance of really efficient exercise and eating that isn't easy, but has certainly been effective and less frustrating.
The 3 days a week I go to boot camp are intense, and I generally feel sore, but great for the next day or so. The exercises can be scaled/modified to fit just about anyone's fitness level. I was a college athlete (baseball/rugby), but the past 13 years were decidedly un-athletic. At the beginning I struggled to catch my breath most the time, but Kosta, Joe, and LeRoy have all been equally supportive and challenging. I'm able to do much more now, and can see how everything can keep scaling to match what I used to be able to do.
The goal has never been pure weight loss, and the team keeps the focus on getting fit, so I can do the things I'd like to do more easily. I'm feeling leaner and in better shape than I've been able to achieve on my own in years. I imagine CFP would work for all sorts of people, but I respond particularly well to having a challenge and a detailed plan for how to succeed. I've just done everything CFP has suggested, and have been very happy with the results so far.

This is definitely a different (a good different!) gym! I started out as part of a 4 week challenge and was hooked from there. Kosta and Joe are are pretty much the best trainers out there! :) They are friendly, knowledgable, and most of all helpful. I participate in the group personal training sessions, but it never feels like we are just working out on our own. It is a small class size so there is plenty of individualized attention. Furthermore, I have not only lost weight and body fat but have also made some lifelong changes. I learned how to eat if that makes sense? Kosta has taught us how to eat healthy without sacrificing taste and quantity. There is no dramatic, starving-mode meal plan where you feel hungry and cranky. Instead you learn how to make daily healthy choices that stick with you. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone and everyone. :)

I heard of CFP through a Gilt City deal and started the New Year, New You program. I continued for another month, and would have extended, but an upcoming move to the suburbs will make the commute quite difficult.
In the three months I spent training with CFP (three times per week), I noticed a huge transformation in my mindset towards working out and eating. The workouts were different every time and kept each session exciting. The trainers make sure you're getting the most out of each effort and ensure you're doing it correctly and safely.

I had been wanting to join something where I would meet people into health and fitness like me....not just a 5 pack of classes to take every now and then.
I was a little nervous cause I had never done this type of working out before. I have always been a yogi or run in the summer, take a spin class, or a bar class here and there. Felt I needed to step it up a notch so I gave it a try and I'm SOOOO glad I did!!
This 8 week challenge is perfect for any health/fitness goals and life goals you want to achieve! I realized for me being held accountable is a huge key to success! Not only to your trainers but to your team. With this program you can not fail! And how fun to challenge your self and push your self farther than you ever expected! With the trainers and team coaching/pushing you its amazing what you can do when you try:)
Kosta's knowledge and passion is unbelievable for health and fitness!! He truly wants to make a difference in the community/ world helping others reach their fitness and life goals.
Through out the program we would receive support at the gym but also weekly group emails checking in on how we are doing and making us stay on track...always positive and motivational, reminding us how important nutrition is or asking how our sleep is, add this to your diet for more energy/burn more fat and most of all to remind us NOT to give up!! Each team also had their own facebook group where we would support eachother with cheering eachother on to stay on track that helped alot too!
The actual workouts are great!! Interval training is the way to go!! Your heart rate is up the entire time while doing "functional" movement exercises (things you would normally do but using full range of motion) for example I could not do a full push up on my feet so I did them on my knees to get maximum benefits! Each station is different and you rotate when the music stops.....It's good for everyone no matter where you are with your fitness level because its how many reps can you do and how far you are willing to push yourself!
Don't worry if you can't push yourself because Kosta, Joe, and Leroy WILL!! These three are great!! There is always a different workout every day you walk in the gym so it never gets boring or repetitive...music is loud, energy is high and 45min flys by!!
The best part is I have made some great friends along the way and will continue to stay working out at Chicago Fit Performance!!

I just did my 6 month weigh in and I have lost 31 pounds, over 25 inches, and 8% body fat with Chicago Fit Performance. I came to Chicago Fit Performance (CFP) by chance when a friend recommended their Health & Fitness Challenge. I joined on a whim. Eight weeks later, the challenge now over, I have decided to join CFP as a full-time member because my experience has been fantastic thus far.
Workouts sessions are great. They are structured. They are high-intensity. They hit your entire body. Think advanced athletic and functional training movements. Think always something new.
As a former D1 athlete, it has been great to work with trainers as knowledgable, good at programming, and good at motivating others as Joe and Kosta.
The CFP philosophy is sound. From mobility testing at the outset (critical for injury prevention) to workouts that consistently start on time (I'm big on this), and from trainers who value community, preparation, and attention to detail to a positive, happy membership, I give CFP a 5 out of 5.

Chicago Fit Performance (CFP) is, hand-down, the most sustainable routine (encompassing both exercise and nutrition) that I have ever encountered. CFP is fun, classes start at a reasonable time (it's one of the only 8am fitness class I can find), and it has the nicest instructors. The classes are challenging but relatively short and it's the best way I have found to kick-start my day.
More than anything I have wanted a healthy routine, but I have lost almost 10 pounds since returning from my honeymoon this past summer (during which I gained at least 7 pounds--and my weight wasn't normalizing by itself). I'm all about it!

I stumbled upon CFP about a year ago and I can't tell you how happy I am with the program, trainers and members! If you are looking for a challenging, laid back, positive environment then you should definitely check out what CFP has to offer! Not only are the trainers fantastic and create a fun environment to work out in, but you will also find that the members are equally amazing!
I really can't say enough good things about the program Kosta and team have created at CFP. I've tried numerous other programs in Chicago - Pilates, barre, even outdoor bootcamps and I haven't been able to fully commit to one program for more than 6 months. It's a totally different experience at CFP. Not only do I love the way I feel after a killer 6:30am workout, but I also love going because of the people. The trainers are really what sets CFP apart from any other program out there! Plus the workouts are different everyday so there is no need to worry about feeling bored after a few weeks or feeling like you have hit a wall in your fitness routine. You will be challenged each and every day at CFP and just when you think you’ve mastered a certain exercise you’ll wake up the next day feeling sore, in a good way of course!
I highly recommend CFP if you are looking for a workout program that keeps you moving and motivated. I have been a member for almost a year now and just completed this year’s Transformation Challenge, which has been a great way for me to jumpstart 2014.

What can I say? CFP classes are the BEST! You really have to try it to understand the magic behind the "Metabolic Fitness" approach, but I can honestly say that once you get in on these workouts--it is highly likely you'll be hooked! With an engaging, chill, and always-supportive atmosphere, these are the most enjoyable group classes I have experienced to date. I have been coming to CFP for almost a year now (ever since a girl friend of mine brought me in for a free trial to be her "boot camp buddy"), and I would highly recommend getting in on the action. Kosta and Joe have been encouraging and helpful with regards to my fitness goals since Day 1, and it is clear that they are committed to helping each and every member achieve his/her personal fitness goals.
This year, I participated in the 8-week New Year New You transformation challenge. I have to say that I loved every moment of the experience! The camaraderie and competitive spirit that this team challenge fostered in me and my teammates came as a bit of a surprise. My friend Jenn had joined the 8 week, new year new you challenge at CFP and wanted me to join as well. As soon as she told me they were 6:30am bootcamp classes, I was like no way! I'm SO not a morning person! But I went on the website. And by the time I was halfway down the page, I decided I wanted in! And that was the best decision I've made thus far this year. As long as I changed my night owl ways and made sure I was in bed by 10:30pm, getting up at 5:30-45 was easy! I actually pop right up (instead of snoozing) now! The reason for that is the workouts are different everyday, they're fun, and the people and energy is amazing! I get bored very easily with repetitive workouts and this is the complete opposite. Kosta, Joe, and Leroy (the trainers) have such great, fun personalities and energy. They know just how far to push you to achieve a great workout. And are always helpful with modifying an exercise if you are feeling discomfort. The workouts are done before you know it, and you're left feeling beyond amazing, that you got out of bed that early, worked your butt off, are sweaty, and it's only 7:30am! Their circuit training set up is genius. Although the format varies from day to day, it usually consists of about 5 stations, 2 exercises with 2-4 people per station, and a 90second cardio burst finisher in-between each station. It's all run with high energy music that gives you audio prompts when to start, halfway through, and when to stop. Which is how it goes by so fast! You don't have time to lollygag around and waste time. My 8 weeks is just about over, and I'm definitely signing up for a yearly membership! I love the people I have met and look forward to continuing to surrounding myself with high energy, fun people that enjoy fitness as much as I do! I obviously highly recommend checking CFP out! I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!!

I just completed the 8-week transformation challenge and though I haven't had my official final weigh-in, I know I'm about 15 pounds down! I love CFP because no two workouts are the same. Every day you have 5-10 stations with 2 exercises each and a finisher between each station. It's impossible to get bored because you're always changing what you're doing. It always feels very personal because all the trainers know you by name and will monitor your progress and push you froward. The only downside is how expensive CFP is, especially considering you only get 3 workouts a week. I found out about it from a promotion through Gilt City and that's how I was able to attend. Also, the gym seems to cater to people with a regular 9-5 job. If you work afternoons and evenings like I do or have a schedule that changes from week to week, it's not the most accommodating schedule. I prefer gyms that allow you to come when you can especially since my schedule can change at the last minute and from week to week, but at CFP you have to schedule your sessions M-W-F or T-Th-Sa. For the most part, I'd give my recommendation to CFP. The workouts are fun and the challenge really got me to be disciplined with my fitness and set goals for myself. If you put in the effort, both with your workouts and nutrition, you'll get great results!

I started at CFP a little over a year ago. My overall fitness and health have improved tremendously. I enjoy all the workouts (more when they are over), but the results have been great. All the trainers are motivating and they each bring something different to each workout. Kosta really takes an interest in each member he works with and genuinely cares about educating the clients in nutrition and being supportive and encouraging when we need it. Joe and Kosta keep me challenged daily and really care that myself and all of the other members are getting the most of their experience. Every day is different. There is not the monotony of treadmills and weights. The group classes are small enough to get the attention needed for a successful workout and personalized results. As someone who has never done organized workouts, maybe ever, I was hesitant to join something so commitment-focused, but I'm glad I did!
Two things that have been the most important to my sticking with CFP: 1) I don't have to think...this is an hour that I get to be told what to do, and at a pace that makes it easy for me to disconnect and do work. And 2) No two days are the same. All the boredom that comes from working out with the same routine is eliminated here.
I've been attending since April 2013, and just completed this year's CFP Fitness Challenge. Looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow, but I already know I've busted the plateau I've been at for months. The Challenge, in particular, is great because it caters to every level of success you want to achieve. From basic nutrition and workout consistency, to count-every-gram-of-everything, single-digit-body-fat-achieving hardcore guidance, CFP has it covered.
But the best part? You don't feel like a number. You don't feel like a cog in a machine, or a bill that simply goes to the bottom line. You feel like they're just as committed as you are.

I've been a member at Chicago Fit Performance since June 2013 and don't regret my decision not one second. The trainers are awesome, the motivate you from start to end of your workout, even though sometimes you want to quit but they wont let you.
Thanks for the tips that Kosta has giving me on my nutrition and pushing me I have lost 45lbs, 10% body fat and feel great. What I like about them is that they don't look about how much weight you lose but the body fat and inches that you slim down. Also if your tired or bored with your routine you will never have that problem with them because you will never have the same workout again.
I will recommend Chicago Fit Performance to any that will like to be challenged out there. I will guarantee that you won't regret you decision. You will lose the weight, and inches and change your form of living.

I've been a member at CFP for the last couple of years. I started with Kosta and Joe when my second child was about nine months old. I was feeling very out of shape - and I had very little core strength after two pregnancies. While 5:30 a.m. seems very early, I really appreciate being able to get a complete workout in before my kids get up. I am never bored by the workouts and have gained a tremendous amount of strength and endurance the last couple of years as a result of the workouts. The staff at CFP is great. I feel challenged but also very supported. At times I have struggled with various work related injuries and Kosta and Joe are always willing to help me modify any workouts that we are doing. I decided to participate in the Transformation Challenge this year when my husband (who was not then working out at CFP) wanted to try it out. As happy as I have been with my own transformation, I have been even happier about the changes that CFP has helped my husband make in his life.

Since starting the program I've lost significant amount of inches and the number on the scale has gone down as well.
Additionally, Chicago Fit Performance's other programs such as yoga, core stability workouts and lifetime coaching are an excellent additions.

I can only echo what others have said - This is the only gym in Chicago that I've tried that I actually ENJOY going to. I'm almost done with their 8-week Challenge and I've seen actual results. The energy at CFP is great, you feel welcomed and encouraged to work hard. Other gyms I've been to have more of a "clique-y" feel or one that makes you just want to get in and get out and not make eye contact with anyone -- totally not the case at CFP. The trainers know your name within a week and encourage you based on your personal goals. The workouts are challenging but do-able and you see results! After these 8 weeks, I'll definitely be signing up for the year long program. It's pricey, but its worth it for happiness and health. I'm not totally sure how much weight I've lost, but I'm down TWO jeans sizes and feeling so much better about myself overall.
The only con for me is the location, its a little far from home, but at 6am its an easy drive and there is free parking.

I started with CFP as part of a YouSwoop deal for the first 28 days and I am now in my first year as a member. I've always worked out on a pretty regular basis, but this team has really inspired me - much past the point of anything else I've ever experienced. The staff is fully committed to helping me reach my goals. The classes are large enough to work well, but small enough for regular one on one interaction with the staff on each exercise. Kosta, the owner, is heavily involved in the classes and Joe, our instructor, is awesome. They are both very knowledgeable and very motivating (in a way that shows they care, not that they want to beat you up each morning). It's the most positive gym environment I've ever been a part of. They allow everyone to go at their own pace, and their enthusiasm and support gave me the incentive I needed to push myself much farther than I thought I ever could. The results are great. I've seen major positive changes in my muscle tone and my endurance in just the 6 short weeks I've been part of the group. The class participants work together really well and there is always help around when you need it. It makes no difference what your fitness level is or how much experience you've hand in the past with exercise, if you want to learn the right way to exercise, avoid injuries and get the best results, this is the place to be. I lost over 6 inches and 4% body fat in the first four weeks. Kosta and the team not only help you with your workouts (the best hour you can spend for both strength and cardio training), but also help you better understand your eating habits and nutrition, so that you can maximize your results. I've never had a team so invested in my goals. I've now signed up for a year and am excited about what the future holds. I look better in my clothes, I sleep better and I know I'm doing something positive for myself - it doesn't get much better than that!

I can point to many Youswoop deals I purchased which let me down, but I am SO thankful for the day I saw the deal for CFP's 8 week transformation contest. Dani and I have tried things like this before: on our own, through boot camps and just through regular gym memberships, but we hadn't been getting results and just couldn't get motivated.
CFP's transformation challenge is set up as an 8 week contest where you are put in a team and enticed with great prizes, from cash to massages to free extra month memberships. Even before the contest began I was really excited to get started.
From the very first workout I was blown away and I love the workouts - Joe (one of the trainers) always brings so much energy and enthusiasm to the gym, which at 6:30am is pretty impressive (we weren't brave enough to do the 5:30am workouts). The program focuses not only on working out, but also on eating right and Kosta and the CFP team were there to support us and answer questions and even provided healthy but great recipe books throughout the program.
We started this back in January, so I am writing this review 7 weeks later, 1 week until the end of the contest. Since starting, I have seen serious results for the first time in years of trying to lose weight. I've lost 14 pounds (about 7% of my body weight) and several percentage points of body fat. Pretty impressive considering I was unable to work out for 2.5 weeks due to an injury (not from the gym, injured my back doing something stupid). Even when I was away from the gym, Kosta was reaching out to me and seeing how I was doing.
A couple other points I feel worth mentioning:
- Awesome location, 1/2 block south of North/Clybourn red line stop; or for you drivers, plenty of free parking
- Constantly changing workout routines - you never get bored because every day is something new
- Nice facilities - clean bathrooms with lockers/showers

I've been going to Chicago Fit Performance for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! Kosta and Joe are great!! They are always very motivating, always walk you through the exercises showing you modified versions and more advanced ones, and they are always there to correct your form. Signing up with CFP has been the best decision I've made. It has really challenged me, and made me stronger. I recently signed up for the 8 week challenge and enjoyed every minute of it. The workouts and individual challenges really pushed me. The nutrition portion of it was extremely helpful and really got me to change my eating habits. I never thought I'd say that I enjoy working out, but I really do! I look forward to my 5:30am class all the time!

I first joined through a groupon almost a year ago, and it was the best decision I have made. These guys are awesome and really care about you! They want to see you fit and they want to help motivate you to reach your personal fitness and weight goals. I enjoy exercising, but never have really thought of it as a fun activity. After working out with these guys, however, I find that I look forward to each work-out to see how much more I can improve in my overall fitness and health. Thanks for a new perspective on fitness!

I found this place through a Youswoop deal. One of the best deals out there. Great staff!! Good program. May not be for everyone, but you will get some results if you push through it. I have got back my competitive nature back, thanks to the program and staff. 8 week transformations was a great way to get back from some injuries. The workouts all can modified to challenge yourself more. All in all great experience

It started with a YouSwoop and turned into a life style change after a few months. The trainers, Kosta and Joe are awesome. They are motivated, knowledgable, and always there to answer questions or concerns. The big gym/open gym forum wasn't working for me anymore. The small class and high level attention the trainers give helps me achieve my goals. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants results and needs a little motivation to get there. +++++

It takes a lot to motivate me to get up in the morning, let alone go to the gym, but somehow Chicago Fit Performance manages to do both – and make me look forward to it. Every workout is different and designed to keep you constantly challenged while still being efficient. I always feel like I’ve worked out longer than the (aprox) 45 minute class time. From day one Kosta and Joe (the owner/trainers) take time to get to know you and they consistently make sure you have the proper form and encouraging you to work at your full ability. It’s the equivalent of personal training in a motivating group atmosphere – a fun workout that gets results (and well worth rolling out of bed to attend).

I've been working with Kosta and Joe for almost a year now and can't say enough great things about them and Chicago Fit Performance. They keep you coming back for more. The way the program is structured they really encourage you to continue. I do triathlons in the summer months so having this year round training is great. I tend to get lazy in the fall and winter months and this program has prevented me from taking time off and getting totally out of shape. It's not cheap but you do get what you pay for. I was an athlete in college and I think I'm in better shape now (10 years later) than I was then. I wish I had you guys training me back then. I still come home sore and sometimes for days after a workout. I think it's great. I always had weak abs which caused lower back problems. I no longer have back issues.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!! This place is freakin' awesome! Everyone is so friendly and supportive. Bootcamp truly kicks your butt, but these guys are all about results AND results you get with some dedication. I was so intimidated at first because this place is NOTHING like a regular gym, but after my introduction session I totally felt at home. I can't say enough about Chicago Fit Performance. I have been a member since March 2011. Each trainer is knowledgeable, and pushes you to the limit. They design meal plans and personal workouts to ensure you have everything to be successful. All you need is dedication and discipline. I would recommend participating in one of the weight loss competitions to really get a feel for all the gym has to offer. I have lost 20 lbs since joining, but most importantly I have changed my lifestyle to eat healthier and live stronger.

I've always been a bit skeptical towards boot camps and fitness centers that did not have the traditional weight lifting and cardio equipment. For years I thought the best work out was all about "pumping iron" and running on a thread mill till you pass out.
It was not until I signed up with Chicago Fit Performance that I've actually seen results beyond what I thought I could achieve. The workouts are designed in such a way that you ALWAYS get a total body work out even though the exercises are different every session.
Perhaps the most important benefit is the off-session support you receive from the instructors in the form of nutritional information and tips on how to modify your lifestyle to maximize the effects of your workout.
