My husband and I LOVED working with Cinnamon - our first dance lessons were something we looked forward to when we had them scheduled. Cinnamon is a great dance instructor, he's patient and willing to work with you on any challenges. I didn't have any background in dance and neither did James but we had the best time learning and it was a special moment for us on our wedding day to show our friends and family what we learned. My daughter had dance lessons for a Quniceanera. She and a group of girls had an awesome time learning several dances. Cinnamon kept the girls focused by having fun. The girls and all the moms loved coming every week. The performance at the Quince was amazing. The moms and girls will definitely sign up for lessons again. This experience created confidence and friendship bonds for the girls and moms.

I’ve been attending Cinnamon’s on and off for the last 8 years and he is, hands down, the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. I travel for work and have taken classes in just about every city I have been to. No one compares or even comes close to Cinnamon. Cinnamon has this amazing ability to relate and explain things in a multitude of ways, for every type of student.

Cinnamon is warm, lighthearted, and kind to all his students. He genuinely cares and is always happy to share his love for dance. As an engineer, I could not learn by being told “take this step”. I needed to understand the why’s and how’s, and Cinnamon was able to provide that; he truly believes that anyone can dance, and I have seen it firsthand. People who say they have two left feet have finished a group class looking amazed at themselves.

We hired Cinnamon to teach the kids the different dances for my daughters Quinceañera. To say the results were amazing is not enough. He has patience with the kids. He got them to come together and be confident in what they were doing. On the day of the event he was running around talking to the dj, announcer, and the banquet staff. He made sure the kids were taken care of and where they needed to be at all times. Cinnamon was worth every single penny. I highly recommend him!!!

We view dancing in public with the dread that most people view speaking in public. Still, we wanted to have a first dance at our wedding. We called Cinnamon and he suggested we come in for an introductory lesson. We were nervous about it but we did it anyway. By the end of the hour we were enjoying ourselves so much that we signed up for ten lessons. We chose a song and by the second lesson Cinnamon had choreographed the entire dance for us. He broke it into chunks and spent the next weeks expertly, patiently --and with healthy doses of good humor-- helping us master them. He made it fun and easy --who knew we could dance? Those lessons became one of the highlights of the wedding process for us. Cinnamon was an honored guest at our wedding.

My husband and I signed up for 10 classes for $500. Cinnamon assured us it was the cheaper way to go, and we had nothing to worry about becasue he would give us a 100% refund if we didn't use the classes. At the time, we were not 100% sure we could work out times to dance that would also work for Cinnamon and his schedule. We text him a couple of times to set up classes with no response. After a long time with no response we decided we would take our refund and find another dance instructor that could work with us. Again, no other than he is going through his own personal matters and can not pay us back. He finally agreed to send us $300 back 6 months later, and said he would send the rest when he could. Months and months later asking for our refund and he has not replied. We contacted BBB, Illinois General attourney, and have reached out to members on FB and social media who have given us advice on what to do to get our money back. We even asked if we could put our money towards dance classes for our daughter, if he could send us a schedule but again....no response. I see him checking my messages, he is just ignoring me. I did not contact my credit card company within 60 days because I really thought Cinnamon was a decent person. But this is wrong.

Working with Cinnamon Trammel was certainly my favorite part of the wedding planning process, as Cinnamon’s priority was reminding my wife and I how to have fun and love one another through the artform of dance. We truly could not have been more fortunate to have met Cinnamon and moved forward with him to help us create a dance routine from scratch for our wedding day.

Through 5 sessions at an affordable price, he taught us “easy to learn” dance moves, to our choice of song, in segments, that when put together in the end, was an exceptional routine that impressed all of our family and friends on our wedding day. We received overwhelming feedback from all of our loved ones that our dance routine was without a doubt the best that they had ever seen, and we have Cinnamon to thank for that.

Overall, Cinnamon is a great and genuine man to work with and we are grateful for what he did for us. We would pursue future dance classes with Cinnamon just for fun, general knowledge/exercise, and date nights for ourselves because of how much we enjoyed the initial experience. Thank you Cinnamon.

Do not sign up for anything here!!! He took $580 for 10 classes and I never went to one class and he will not refund a penny!! I am taking care of my 80 year old father who is ill and am on FMLA and do not get paid. In these trying times how can he be so insensitive. Please beware!!!!!!

This evening was my fiancé and I's first dance lesson with Cinnamon. We decided to take some dance lessons for our upcoming wedding as both of us have two left feet. I was nervous going into the first lesson because neither of us have any experience, but Cinnamon made both of us SO comfortable.

Not only did we learn some good moves (and easily too due to Cinnamon's amazing teaching style), but Cinnamon also helped us choose our first dance song (something that I have actively been trying to choose for the last 2 years (not exaggerating here)). He asked us a couple questions, read our energy, and played a song...right then and there, I knew it was the one we had to go with!

But most importantly, Cinnamon made it FUN. My fiancé and I left our first lesson feeling more connected than ever and so excited for our wedding. I can't wait for our next lesson!

This is the best dance studio I've even been to! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and Cinnamon truly cares about each and every one of his students. I'm 27 and have never taken a class in my life but stepping into cinnamon's studio was so easy and so much fun.
