I signed up for PT, and they failed to tell me about the cancellation policy. Didn’t show me the contract and told me I could cancel anytime without any hassle. I have now have $350 in PT charges to my account. I’ve emailed customer support, spoken to the manager and they “made a request to cancel” and it’s still active. They lie to you to get you to sign up, and then refuse to cancel. The trainer has also been scheduling appointments without my consent to make it look like we have appointments since I’m paying even though I told him I wanted to cancel. I’ve looked up the cancellation policies myself after the fact and they are ludicrous. 30 day notice with a handwritten letter mailed.. crazy and unfavorable to the consumer. I plan on filing a lawsuit against them for failure to inform on their cancellation policy.

The gym is nice, people that go there are friendly. Staff is not around much. The roof leaks and the parking lot is sketch (not their fault but lock your car!) they have tanning beds and hydro massage chairs and child care.

The gym itself is fine. What’s not fine is staff member Carl’s attitude. Every time I walk in here and he’s at the desk he has an attitude when he speaks to me. I’ve never done anything to receive this behavior. They have two scanners at the desk. God forbid you try to use the one he’s not directly standing behind b/c that man is an absolute vibe killer. You ask a question, you get his rude attitude with his response. I even avoided coming here at certain times just to not deal with him. Hadn’t seen him at the desk in a while and thought he wasn’t working here, felt relieved. Nope, still here with his lousy attitude. The rest of the staff is great. Carl, you need to learn to check yourself before you walk through those doors.

This place is my new gym. It has a lot of things to do free weights, classes, Nautilis type weight machine machines, cables, free climb, rope workout area, massage stations, Hydro massage, and three showers and clean locker rooms.

Great place to workout, but expensive and they will change the details of your contract. I started out paying $10 and received all the amenities, no expiration date. Now I'm paying over 3 times as much with fewer amenities. Planet fitness is more affordable.

DO NOT get a membership here. I went into my local branch 3 times to cancel. They couldn’t provide a receipt of cancelation. I sent corporate a letter as requested still charging my account.
You also will never talk to anyone if you call. Just recordings that will never help.
Over a year of trying to cancel I had to put a stop payment through my bank, because the owners of this company are too incompetent.
Now they sent it to debt collectors threatening me because they wouldn’t cancel my account. Hiring an attorney at this point.

This place lacks a lot of the amenities that the other CF locations have. Staff is good though. Would recommend trying to avoid their payment partner ABC. Ask your insurance if they pay for it before signing your name on the dotted line because if you do, you’ll remember me saying this when it comes time to cancel or ask about a strange charge from them.

Lastly, get a stinkin sauna. You have numerous tanning beds here but not an essential gym amenity that nearly every gym has.

Don’t bother trying to use the kids club here. The employees could not act more bothered by you using your membership you pay for when you bring your kids. Walk in an hour before it’s supposed to close and they tell me “you know it’s about to close right?” I said yeah in an hour correct? And they told me they close it early to clean…. For what? Clean it at the time you’re supposed to close, it’s not like anything in there gets cleaned anyways. Everything is gross. Very frustrated.

The actual gym is fine, the problem comes from their billing. I agreed to $40 a month on the 27 of every month. That agreement is even on the receipt they emailed me. I paid the $40 a month the first 2 months and everything was fine. Then I got hit with a bunch of additional charges for “late fees” it’s nowhere near the 27 of the month. How is my bill late when it’s not due yet? So in 3 months, from march 27th to May 12th they have taken $182.98 out of my account. Thats $100 more than what we agree on for the period of time. I’m trying to understand how a $40 a month subscription turned into $180 in the span of 3 months. And not to mention no one answers the phone when I call the customer service number on my agreement that was emailed to me. If I can’t get in contact with them soon I will be disputing these charges. Hope this helps anyone who experience the same thing.

This corporation is becoming worse and worse. They raise prices and reduce services. It used to be if you paid for a trainer, (which is very expensive) you had access to everything. That is no longer the case. They expect you to not only pay for the trainer fees, but also higher membership fees. The kids club hours are a joke, and now also only available with the higher membership, even if you're paying the training fees. So rates were raised, services were reduced and there are constantly 3 or 4 people standing behind the counter doing nothing. What exactly am I paying for? The one and only reason we're still with this gym, paying everything we're paying, is because of our personal trainer. If he goes, we'll go.
Also, they've made it so that you can't do anything over the phone. You can't even call the gym. If you need something, you literally have to go in, in person for assistance.

My New Gym!!!
There is nothing I don’t love about going there! I’m on a mission to be more fit and active. I let a gym that didn’t have the trainers that know what they are doing. I love that Club Fitness is invested in my outcome. I work with a trainer; Blake; one day a week, attend a class one day a week, and I’m solo the other two days that I go. In the last few weeks I feel the change. I feel stronger and my endurance is building. My short term goal is to go to the gym 4days per week. Long term goal is to lose weight consistently until I reach my goal weight.

This use to be a great gym but now it's complete trash! They continue to raise rates and at the same time they take away benefits from us. You use to be able to tan for free with a $20 membership but now it cost $40. They took away the cardio theater and replaced it with a stretching room that only the trainers can use. Speaking of the trainers, they are weak and scrawny and look like they've never lifted a weight in their life, do you really want to take advice from someone whos not even lifting? Yet alone pay the outrageous fees. The place is filthy, before covid there were porters cleaning at all times and now I never see them on the floor but you'll sure see 5 or 6 people standing at the front desk doing absolutely nothing but chatting with each other. For anyone reading this save your money and go somewhere else and get more for your hard earned money.

I moved out of state two months ago and I can't cancel my account. I've called and only get machines. I try to freeze account online and it won't submit my form. I try to contact online and it won't submit my form. I call and only get machines can't talk to anyone. Tells me to mail a letter like it's 1970 to cancel but how am I supposed to trust that to work if nothing else works. Also can't cancel in person on weekends how am I supposed to cancel?

Fantastic GYM! Met with the Manager on Sunday and he made the wife and I feel very welcomed and showed us the gym and went over everything and answered all our questions. Then on Monday we met with our Personal Trainer and for me personally it was a great meeting. He was very knowledgeable and supportive of what I was wanting to accomplish. I’m 48 overweight and really never stepped into a GYM before. Huge shot out to Hunter for everything! If you’re looking for a GYM that has everything and Great Staffing, Club Fitness is the place!
