I absolutely love Club Pilates. Every instructor here is truly exceptional — kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. You can feel their expertise in every class. Each session leaves me energized, stronger, and inspired. I’m very grateful for the care, support, and atmosphere they create. This studio has become one of my favorite places, and I genuinely enjoy every training here.

I absolutely love coming to this location. Everyone is friendly and all the instructors are good as well.
The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is bc I was hoping for more deep stretching classes. I switch from 8 classes to unlimited, because of an instructor who had a deep stretching class. It was soo good, that I felt the effects of those stretches for a week. However, none of the instructors incorporated those stretches or techniques in center and balance. And the instructor barely teaches. I really hope there would be deep stretching classes offered, at-least once a week. Hope management can take it into consideration.

Update – October 21, 2025
Unfortunately, the Bloomingdale location continues to disappoint. While they’ve had some great instructors, they’re unable to retain them—turnover remains high. Cleanliness continues to be an issue, with floors often dirty. Management also seems unwilling to work with clients or show much flexibility.
I still attend once per week - even though I would love to do it at least twice per week, because I genuinely enjoy reformer workouts, but I no longer attend on a set schedule with an instructor. What’s the point? Each time I find an excellent instructor, they’re gone within a couple of months. If there were another Pilates studio nearby, I’d cancel my membership in a New York minute.
Update 7/31/24
I am very disappointed at the Bloomingdale location. For the past 15 months They keep losing fantastic trainers, they are way too rigid with their policies (sometimes exceptions are okay to apply), the place could use to be clean more often, and there is always an discontent atmosphere among employees.
I will not upgrade my membership, once a week is enough of that environment - I keep going because I love the reformer and the place is 5 minutes from my home.
Update 7/28/23
Things have improved a bit.The staff is working on being more friendly and helpful.
I would like to see a senior discount for us retired on a fixed income.
Big shutout to Maria, she is by far the best instructor I had have in a long time. Five starts for her.
She is not your "aerobics energetic" trainer like others, she holds a zen quality vibe focusing on form and breath. Maria takes the time to explain what is going in the body with each movement. What I like the most is that she is invested in her clients so we receive posture and form corrections from her - that is rare and very much appreciated.
Very effective workout, just in a few sessions with her I have seen much improvement.
Original:
5 Stars for this Studio location and instructors, especially Lisa.
Lisa is fantastic, upbeat, and kind, she explains what muscles are you working with each move, and most importantly she encourages the marriage of breath and movement.
1 Star for membership service
The administrative Staff is highly unorganized.
The structure of membership payments is confusing and I am constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure I do not get ripped off. I never had to pay a monthly-free fee when going on vacation on other memberships.
The phone isn’t answered. Messages aren’t returned. Have to call multiple times to ensure requests get managed. This happened multiple times.
Very frustrating

Replying to the owner's comments: Thank you for your response.
I have been member of many places in my 65 years of age and I can tell you that it is not "common practice" - what is common practice is seeking customer satisfaction, by having a user friendly membership plan and listening to the customers' needs.
Customer service is not up to par, you can see that on other reviews. Your app could be more user oriented and allow payments through it (I used to be an IT person, I know is possible). It is disappointing to be because I enjoy the instructors and the benefits of the workout and truly dislike the way your company treats customers. I make the choice of supporting my health and your instructors even though I dislike to support your corporation.

I joined Club Pilates Bloomingdale under what I was told was a three month minimum and a 30-day cancellation policy. When I cancelled on my third payment date, I was told I’d be billed for a fourth month because I would have needed to cancel by my second payment date which was only 30 days into my membership. This makes the policy function like 60 days, not 30 which is misleading, very unfriendly to customers and is basically a money grab.

They are predatory and take advantage of customers. I spoke with Leni about canceling because I moved away, but Club Pilates still refused to let me cancel and charged me for an extra month I couldn’t use. They hide behind rigid policies to keep billing you, no matter your situation. Feels like a trap — avoid at all costs. I would give 0 starts if I could.

At first when looking at the reviews I had mixed feelings about going in, I decided to give myself the chance and still go in and to my surprise everything was lovely I was welcomed from the moment I walked in by the GM she was very welcoming and helpful with all my questions about Pilates. One thing I noticed is that everything is down to a routine and the transition times are very on point and organized. If you are thinking about visiting I would 100% recommend

I have been taking classes for quiet a while now. I was so impressed by Kathleen's 1.0 and 1.5 classes especially! Her classes had versatile exercises and were very engaging. Kathleen also shows warmth and care for her students. Thank you Kathleen!

Love Pilates 😇♥️ Favorite instructors: Michele (most knowledgeable & seasoned instructor), Becca (her control classes are my favorite!), and Jenna (she is super zen, peaceful, love the music, has really challenging classes in the best way). Never had any issues here. I don’t quite understand the negative reviews. Everyone is friendly.

"I absolutely love Club Pilates in Bloomingdale! One of the best things about this studio is the variety of instructors—each brings a unique teaching style, personality, and energy to their classes. Whether you're looking for a high-energy, challenging workout or a more mindful, technique-focused session, there's an instructor for you. This diversity makes every class feel fresh and engaging, catering to a wide range of fitness levels and preferences. The studio is always clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. I'm just a few classes away from hitting 500, and I can honestly say every session has been worth it! If you're considering Pilates, this is the place to be!" ;) Smiley

“My experience at Club Pilates was completely ruined by the poor management. While the instructors were professional and skilled, the manager, Leny M., was the exact opposite. She is rude, dismissive, and acts as if she’s the only boss, showing no regard for customer concerns. For a studio that charges hundreds of dollars a month, you’d expect decent customer service, but instead, Leny’s arrogant and unprofessional attitude makes it unbearable. She lacks basic communication skills, refuses to listen, and treats members as if they’re beneath her. The only reason I am leaving Club Pilates is because of Leny M. If the management were different, I would have stayed, but as long as she’s running the place, I cannot justify spending my money here.”

Club Pilates in Bloomingdale has the absolute worst customer service. Unlike other locations that proudly celebrate their loyal members by giving a free T-shirt or socks for completing 100 to 250 classes, this location refuses to do the same. Many members have raised concerns, but the owner and management completely ignore them, showing zero appreciation for their customers.
The manager Leny M is beyond rude, completely irrelevant, and incredibly disrespectful when members ask questions. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they dismiss complaints with a terrible attitude. It’s obvious they don’t care about the people who keep their business running.
The only reason people still go to this location is because of the amazing and dedicated instructors who actually care about their clients. Without them, this place would be empty. Other than the instructors, this studio is a complete joke—a poorly run, greedy, and unprofessional business. It’s clear that management is only interested in taking people’s money without providing the service and recognition that loyal members deserve.
If you’re thinking of joining this studio, save yourself the frustration and go to another Club Pilates location where they actually appreciate their members!

I’ve been taking classes at Club Pilates since May 2024 and have completed over 100 classes—and I can confidently say it’s been life-changing. A huge part of that transformation is thanks to Michelle, who is by far the best instructor they have.
Thanks to her guidance, I’ve lost over 27 lbs and I’m more toned than I’ve ever been in my life. Michelle’s classes are not just effective; they’re enjoyable because of her positive energy and genuine passion for helping others. She’s incredibly kind, always takes the time to walk through new moves, and makes sure you’re doing exercises correctly to prevent injury. It’s clear she’s always looking out for her clients’ well-being.
What sets Michelle apart is her ability to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She’s always smiling, brings an uplifting vibe to every class, and her personalized attention keeps me motivated. Honestly, if it weren’t for Michelle, I don’t think I would’ve continued with these classes.
If you’re looking for an instructor who’s not only knowledgeable but truly cares about your progress, Michelle is the one to take classes with. I can’t recommend her enough!

Had a terrible experience with one of the instructors Nanette. I was trying Pilates for the first time and I had my seventh class with her when she took 5 minutes of her time to basically scold me in front of the whole class stating I needed to take a level 1 reformer class. I was very embarrassed and decided to leave mid session because the way she critiqued everything was very rude and not pleasant. Truthfully my experience with club Pilates was ruined by this and I cancelled my membership.

The manager here, Lenny, is a liar. I attempted to cancel my membership by sending an email and calling (as no one answered my email) and she said she would cancel my membership. I follow up to find that my membership was NOT canceled and there was no record of our conversation! Then when I go in to speak with her in person she said that she wasn’t the one who spoke with me even though she had sent me a form to fill out signed her name in an email. Then she asks me why I was cancelling, which shouldn't matter. But I told why and she said, "oh no I can just freeze you for a few months". Which was unnecesary and at which point she became incredibly rude (maybe because I caught her lying to my face!!). Do not go here.

EDIT: I spoke to the manager Chandler and she basically backed their policies (or lack of) and said it’s more important to fill a class than have people stay home when they’re sick because the instructors are paid based on how many people are in class. It’s no wonder they constantly have random substitute instructors and can’t hire permanent ones, I wouldn’t want my pay being based on something I couldn’t control directly (class size, time of day, etc.). Truly disappointing they don’t care about their members’ health as a health-promoting business. She also said my wife “seemed fine” during the class she attended while sick. She wasn’t even there at the time and my wife told me she had to run to the bathroom crying because she felt so sick. This lack of care for members who are paying hundreds a month is truly unacceptable and she will not be attending this location again.
This is a franchised location and I would avoid it at all costs if you don’t want to get sick.. I recently spoke with them because my wife developed the flue over the course of a day and tried to do the right thing by telling them. Their response was to have her still come in or else suffer a late cancellation fee.. in the world we live in today how are businesses not learning to take sickness more seriously? I called and spoke to Lexi, who told me that since the manager was out there is nothing she can do, nor could she provide me a number for further assistance. This is not a $30 a month gym, this club charges hundreds a month to be a part of it and has zero customer support whatsoever. Just another overzealous business with horrible policies, avoid at all costs.

I went to a demo class & thought it would be a great addition to my fitness routine. I was excited to start & signed up for an unlimited membership. To be fair, when I signed up, they did tell me that a 3 month minimum was required. Unfortunately, life happed in that short amount of time. Some unforeseen circumstances arose & now I am working 6 days a week & being primary care for my sisters 2 littles while she is recovering. I called to see if I could cancel my membership & honestly there seemed to be little sympathy for my circumstances. Although the young lady was nice, she was really persistent about working some time into my schedule to come in despite me telling her it wasn't really possible. I know I bear some responsibility in this, I did sign up for it. Every circumstance deserves to be handled with some grace, I wish I felt that there was some understanding as opposed to making sure they got their money.

I am so glad I finally got started with Pilates after decades of (shamefully) being soft, flabby & utterly out of shape. About 7 classes later I feel stronger, have much straighter posture—I’m a Serial Sloucher—no lower back pain, with stronger legs & arms too! I augment my 2 studio classes a week with Wall Pilates at home. Feel physically stronger each week, sleep better, the benefits are the BEST.

I’m 45 classes in and I really like it. I like some instructors better than others but no one has been bad. The app is really simple, easy to schedule classes. I think it’s smart to take the free class to check if Pilates suits you but it definitely flows better in less than ten sessions. It’s a very quiet workout, not a very social community but good workouts.

Amazing teachers who take the time to educate you on proper techniques. Small class sizes and nice facility. In 3 weeks I can already see toning in my arms, legs, really the whole body. I love the 6am classes with Michelle. I've never been a morning person but it helps me start my day.

So I’ve been going to this club pilates for a little bit now (still fairly new though) and I’m not super impressed with some of the trainers here. I work full-time but have a bit of time on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to take classes here, and I’ve taken a few classes with Radika. She is not a bad trainer per se, but my god is she rude and harsh. I’ve never met such a cold trainer who can’t be bothered to teach, even though that’s her literal job. I was thinking about other trainers I could take a class with, and they have Desiree working on Thursdays. She’s pretty unclear in her classes and honestly, they are not good. I’ve definitely taken better classes at this location, but not with Desiree. I also have been considering going Friday evenings but the trainer Kathleen has classes that are very much not worth attending. Her classes are bad, plain and simple. Yet somehow she is teaching a lot of hours there. How are they letting bad trainers dominate classes there? How does this make sense? I’ve overheard other members complain about these three, and I’m sure by now management has passed along feedback to these trainers but nothing seems to change. I don’t write reviews often but I am disappointed and considering leaving. Tbh, I’d say go to another place if you want good pilates workouts. Haven’t been able to try the other instructors although I’ve heard better things about them for sure, but my schedule simply doesn’t align with theirs and I just want good classes for Tuesday/Thursday evenings.

I just wanted to give an update on this Club Pilates! I've been a member now for about a year and a half! As I said in my initial post---there are a lot of great instructors and nice people. But, I have to say that I'm also probably in the best shape I have been in a really long time. And, that's without the "pain" of getting into shape like I did in my 20s. I go to a lot of Julie and Kristin's classes (nights and weekends!). I know Carrie is great in the mornings though! It's also VERY clean! Still love going to classes after all of these months! It's very motivating to see and feel the results!
Wow! What a great place! I've been a member for 4 months now and have NO complaints! The instructors are awesome, the people are nice, the other members are fun to be around....and they are GREAT workouts! I've been a fitness nut for years and tried so many different types of workouts---these Pilates classes are super effective but gentle on your body!
