I am so grateful that I found Club Pilates when I did. I had gone through a surgical procedure, and it had been over a year, and I struggled with my abdomen. I started on level 1 and even though it was hard at the beginning, after a couple of sessions I was so strong. I could bend easier; I can do sit-ups and many of other exercises with so much ease and my healing process was on speed level once I started with Pilates. I can't praise them enough, if I can make it through, I know you can. Give Club Pilates a chance because it is totally worth it. Love the stuff in the South Loop Club they are the best! :)

I joined Club Pilates at the start of 2024 and I never expected I would be so incredibly happy with the results of working out here. I am a true fitness hater, I would rather do *anything else* than go to the gym or workout, but CP is actually something that I look forward to now! I attend multiple classes a week with my unlimited membership, making the cost incredibly worth it for the equipment I get to use, the awesome instructors I get to work with, and the insane results I’ve already seen in my body after a few months. The South Loop location is super clean and the front desk staff is SO WONDERFUL.
Shoutout to Olivia, Molly, Maya, and Siobhan for being the best & most motivating instructors ever!

I absolutely love this studio. Reformer pilates is my favorite way to do strength based workouts and this studio makes the experience even better. The studio is exceptionally inclusive, pleasant, clean, and always has good music playing. It's not often that reformer pilates studios are so diverse, but this one is. The instructors are incredible--knowledgeable, engaging, and they always provide a range of modification options. If you struggle with back pain from a sedentary job, going here for just a few weeks will likely improve that. Can't recommend enough! It's worth the price.

I was a member at this Club Pilates when it first opened in 2023. I started the classes eight weeks after giving birth. I did not notice until I stopped - due to my work schedule - but it really helped improve my pelvic floor after delivery. The environment is calm and the skill levels are great for beginners. Sometimes the intensity depends on which instructor you get because they all teach differently. If you find an instructor you mesh with well they tend to have a good amount of classes on the schedule. I would suggest coming here if you are new to Pilates. It’s formulated so you can grow into the movements and improve with each session. Especially if you do not come from a dance or athletic background. My core did improve and got stronger after going twice a week for a year here. The Pilates really helped with my postpartum anxiety as well. I always felt better after each class. I thought it was worth the price and really enjoyed my time at South Loop Club Pilates.

I had such an amazing experience at Club Pilates South Loop. I had never done reformer Pilates before, but after coming home for the summer from my freshman year of college, I decided to give Club Pilates a try and I’m so glad I did! From the very first class, everyone was so incredibly welcoming, friendly, and patient — a special shoutout to Bianca and Siobhan. The instructors took the time to explain how everything worked, made sure I felt comfortable on the reformer, and gave great modifications so I could follow along at my own pace. The atmosphere is so positive and encouraging and no matter your skill level, you feel supported and included. I always leave feeling energized and always look forward to my next class. This studio and the people truly made me fall in love with reformer pilates!

I have been coming to this location the past few months and have been enjoying the equipments and instructors. My favorite instructors are Keisha B and Kaira K!
Some minor drawbacks:
1) Limited availability of level 2 classes. Their website says 2.5 is available but I don’t see this offered at this location.
2) Really like the modern Pilates style offered at this location, but they do lack the traditional classical Pilates moves in both of their 1 and 1.5 level classes. As someone who has been practicing classical Pilates for a few years, would really appreciate a class with purely the classical moves.

I was feeling really nervous about signing up, but she immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. Bianca went above and beyond, she even stayed after hours just to help me get everything set up. Her kindness, patience, and support made all the difference. I’m so grateful to her for making my first steps into Pilates feel so smooth and encouraging. The instructors are very knowledgeable and help you a lot, they work with your level! This place feels like home! Siobhan is the sweetest and greets you warmly every time. She is also an excellent teacher. I also adore Olivia and find her absolutely delightful. Ab exercises are even more fun when you are cracking up while doing them:)
I never thought I would actually enjoy exercise, but I now go to classes at this location several times a week and have made so much progress since the fall. It is a clean, well-run, friendly, and inclusive place. I am so grateful to have them in the neighborhood!

From a pilates perspective, Club Pilates (CP) is the best thing that has happened to the South Loop. There had not been a pilates presence prior to 2023. The one that existed only had classes a few days a week for a few hours a day. So I was super psyched that CP opened.
CP SL has a very welcoming front desk staff and some very good instructors.
One of the best aspects of CP is that in addition to the reformer, they also have the chair, jumpboard, and the springboard (which simulates a tower experience). If you want the true Cadillac experience, that is available via private sessions. CP focuses on traditional pilates versus contemporary pilates.
If you have the unlimited membership, you can go the all of their locations within that franchise. Great way to experience other teachers. If you happen to take Autum's class (River North), it can be a very humbling experience even if you've been training over 10 years. LOL
The drawback for the South Loop is as they are the only pilates option in the area, the popular time slots have long wait lists. Even being on the list for a week, does not guarantee you will get in the class. This has been my experience.
The other drawback is their limited options of level 2 classes. Apparently, South Loop has a less experienced pilates clientel, so they have a heavier emphasis on levels 1 and 1.5. I would say this location is tamer with their clientele than some of the other locations that I have tried. Needless to say, there won't be a 2.5 anytime soon.
For these reasons, I only gave it 4 stars versus 5. But still a great option for pilates (reformer) classes.

I have been a part of this studio for over a year now. It is a truly wonderful place, with amazing staff and instructors. Everyone is so friendly, and the scale of the place makes it feel like a small family. I very quickly began to feel and see positive changes to my body by just attending these classes. Though you might find long waiting lists for each class, they tend to move quickly and I have never had issues getting into the classes I wanted. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this club!

I wish I didn’t have to leave this review. I went to Club Pilates South Loop for almost two years and was one of the first members when this studio opened. I loved the experience of the studio - great instructors, great classes, great community.
However, my one star review is focused on the deceptive business practices of management. I needed to reevaluate where Pilates fit into my budget and chose to freeze my membership for a couple of months. When I ultimately decided to cancel, I was told that there was no way to cancel my membership without a “final invoice” aka charging me at minimum a $100 cancellation fee or my full $259 monthly membership fee.
As someone who has been with this studio since the very beginning and has paid literally thousands of dollars in membership fees, I would have wished to be treated with more respect and consideration when expressing that Pilates no longer fit into my budget. I would have loved to come back to the studio if that changed, but I won’t consider rejoining anymore after realizing that management treats members as a revenue line item rather than members of a community.

After deciding to make a bigger commitment to my fitness routine, I joined Club Pilates. I had previously taken a class in the west loop, but had no idea that there was a new studio in the south loop where I live. It was destined! The studio is quaint and clean. Everyone in the club is friendly and polite. The staff are upbeat, professional, and attentive. Business is run smoothly here. I book my classes ahead of time according to my schedule through the app on my phone. I have to book in advance for my favorite girlie Adana's class. If I have any problems Bianca is so willing to help me. I am so pleased with my decision to join the club. The classes have done wonders for healing anxiety and stress. I am so grateful

I LOVE everything about this studio! The instructors are all wonderful and truly talented and patient with everyone according to their skill set. I only have one problem at this studio, the constant puzzle on whose class I'm going to be taking because each instructor is so unique! I love working out with Mike, Adonna, Michelle, and Stephanie.
The application is very helpful in scheduling and keeping track of goals and classes.

Club Pilates is the place to be! I was introduced to Pilates when I took an intro class and became a member in February. With weight lifting in the mix, over the months I became stronger, more toned and flexible. It is costly, HOWEVER! Is it worth the price? ABSOLUTELY! I love that the classes are smaller, and the instructors bring a mixture of great energy and individuality! I encourage everyone to try Pilates, (*coughs* Club Pilates 😉😂) even if it’s not on a consistent basis. Your body will thank you, just like mine’s did for me! 💕

The best workout studio in the South Loop and Chicago overall for Pilates! I started coming to this studio a year ago and it was the best investment in myself. Such a clean studio but also the instructors and staff are SO sweet and helpful. If you’re nervous or hesitant for not having any Pilates experience, don’t worry, everyone is here to support you. 10/10 recommend.

I was apprehensive about joining the studio at the start. I’ve had two surgeries in two years and was worried that it would be too intense. After taking the intro class, however, I was relieved to learn that the instructors are willing to accommodate and support limitations of all kinds. I have grown so much stronger in the three months since I have started. I’ve become obsessed. The instructors I try to book the most are Mike P, Alonza T, and Adanna B. Booking can be difficult, unless you have an unlimited plan, it will be hard to get the classes of your choice. I am so grateful for SL Pilates 🙏 it has truly been an asset for reducing stress and growing strength.

I’ve always been someone who has struggled with sticking to a consistent fitness routine, but Club Pilates has completely turned that around! Getting to try out a mini intro session for free before joining was an awesome way to dip my toe in to see if it would be a good fit. I was so intimidated and nervous going into it but after that first intro session and seeing how nice and awesome everyone was I was sold! I started at the 8 classes per month membership when they first opened and found myself craving more! Upgrading to the unlimited membership has been the best decision I have made for my fitness journey. Once I started coming to classes 4-7 times a week I have noticed a huge difference in how strong I’ve been feeling! I’m always excited to go to class no matter who is teaching, and I always love getting to try out classes from substitute teachers coming by from other studios! The different types of classes and different class levels have great options for everyone and the instructors are always so kind and helpful!

I have been taking classes since the studio opened and love it! The instructors are fantastic and very helpful with showing modifications if needed. I started taking Pilates before trying to get pregnant, which helped me learn the technique. I am now at the end of my second trimester and will be taking until the end of my pregnancy! It has been a great way to strengthen your core, muscles that support the pelvic floor, and arms. I think this is a great workout for someone starting on their fitness journey, someone with experience looking to target muscles in a new way, and someone looking to stay as strong as possible during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, I highly recommend you tell your instructors before class as there are so many ways to modify if unable to lay on your back, etc.

I have the unlimited membership and have had no trouble with wait lists or getting into the classes with instructors I enjoy or that align with my work schedule. For those who are trying to find movement in their daily routines for the first time or after a hiatus, I couldn't recommend a better place to start than with the South Loop Club Pilates team!

I'm a CP member in Jersey for 5 years! First time at a CP studio in Chicago and I can't say enough amazing things about it! Your staff, Bianca and Siobhan were incredibly helpful! From signing me up over the phone, to checking me in today. Trying to find me retail items that were different and fun for me to bring home.
My instructor Lulu, was terrific and truly cared about everyone's strengths and weakness in the class..I was treated the same as all of the regular members that are Chicago residents.
I truly had a great day and can't wait to come again in the future.. Do Pilates Do Life!! 💜

I had an amazing experience as a member at the South Loop Club Pilates studio! The staff was always able to work with me to ensure I could get into classes that fit my tight schedule. The facility was always clean and the equipment was high quality. I consistently went every Sunday and no two classes were exactly the same - I always left feeling stronger! Over the course of three months, I've gradually worked my way up to the 1.5 classes. What I appreciate most is that you can go at your own pace, making it suitable for all fitness levels.
The instructors at Club Pilates are exceptional. They take the time to correct your form if they see you doing it incorrectly, ensuring you get the most out of your workout.
Each instructor brings their own unique style to the classes.

The location of this Club Pilates-South Loop studio is particularly convenient for Southside residents. It was walking distance from my apartment, making it extremely accessible.
I've wholeheartedly recommended pilates at Club Pilates to anyone looking to get back in shape. It's easy on the joints, doesn't feel like a competition, and the class sizes are small, creating a comfortable and encouraging setting for everyone.

I have been a member of the South Loop club for a few months now. I've done Pilates before, but this has really been the best place that I've attended classes at. The instructors here are really amazing, and I find myself feeling soreness in my muscles the day after. I love that each teacher incorporates different equipment. It keeps the classes exciting and challenging. Thanks for everything Club Pilates.

I’m overjoyed that a Club Pilates opened up in South Loop! This is my first time trying out pilates with a reformer and the instructors and staff are all so warm and welcoming. Classes are super easy to follow and definitely felt a difference in my posture, flexibility, and strength! The studio is also kept very clean and tidy. If you're looking for traditional Pilates or a full body workout don't waste your time. Like all group classes there's a risk for bad form, but this is the worst I've ever seen. As another pilates fan online said, this is the McDonald's of pilates. If you love to hammer legs and abs in every class until you're cramping and spasming and can't do the moves properly (and no upper body) then this is the place for you.

Probably my best decision in 2023 so far joining the South Loop studio! The instructors are great, reception is very responsive and the studio has got a very warm and calming vibe. There are tons of options for everyone as per their needs, the wait list moves pretty fast so you always end up getting that slot or that class you always wanted. I am currently one month down with their unlimited membership and don’t regret a bit of it! Totally recommended.

I was new to reformer pilates prior to signing up for a membership. The studio manager, Molly, was always responsive to my questions. I started a membership here this month, and so far it's been a great experience! Even during the months leading up to the grand opening when I had so many questions about pricing, classes, and how the membership tiers work—they took the time to answer everything, plus check in with me periodically. Also, I had a long vacation planned, and they worked with me to ensure I could still get the most out of my membership for the month and not miss out. The instructors have also been very helpful, which is key. I'm new to pilates, so I really value their care and guidance as I ramp up. Finally, the studio space and equipment are shiny and brand new, so it's a lovely space to be in. So excited to have this studio in the south loop!
