Great place

Edit:
I have been a member for a year and a half now. I still think it’s a great place the only reason i keep on going is literally Katie! Her classes are full of energy, her music pumps up the whole class, she switches things around so it doesn’t get repetitive. I love how i get to challenge myself when she adds new movements. Thanks Katie! I have a six pack now :)

I also really like captain Ed especially on Fridays. He is very funny and fast paced. A great start to my weekend with his class!

Con’s: classes fill up really fast, there isn’t enough level 2+, they are closed on holidays while the other locations are open, the bathroom always have some plumbing issue and they never answer the phone when you call.

I have been a member of Club Pilates in Park Ridge for seven years. I think the studio is amazing. It has run beautifully by Stephanie, many great instructors, including Lizzie in my opinion is the best. I highly recommend the studio to anybody who is thinking about giving Pilates a try.

I am honestly surprised this place is still in business. They implement deceiving practices to get you to enroll and are completely inflexible to work with you as a customer, particularly if you cannot commit on a set class schedule as a working adult.

Afternoon classes fill up quickly and quite often are booked way in advance and if you leave for vacation for 2 weeks, you are out of luck, as unused classes do not roll over.
It is hard to comprehend that any customer will accept such policy (particularly at the $$ per class) and they do not highlight it during sign up, so please read very carefully the fine print on the contract you are signing.

I was excited about this place, but it was clear that customer retention was not a priority for this business.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Club Pilates. From the moment I booked my intro class, things went downhill. When I first signed up, I received a call saying that I wasn’t allowed to take two intro classes. Why would I sign up for two intro classes in the first place? After clarifying that I only booked one intro class, they apologized.

However, the issues continued. On the day of the class, they called me claiming I had already taken a class, which I hadn’t. When I showed up for the intro, the class was a joke—it felt more like a children’s exercise session than anything remotely resembling Pilates. No proper warm-up, no real Pilates moves, just a basic, unstructured class that didn’t even give me a good workout. The instructor seemed like she would rather be anywhere but teaching us. I’ve been to other studios that offer intro classes, and they at least provide a decent demonstration and make sure you get a proper workout.

The push for a membership afterward was overwhelming. They handed out a schedule on a simple piece of paper and made us return it. Seriously? They couldn’t even let us keep a piece of paper? It felt like they were just trying to upsell memberships at all costs.

I made the mistake of booking another class before taking the intro (a bad decision, I know) because I was pumped to find a nice Pilates studio. When I decided I didn’t want to take it anymore after the bad experiences, they told me I could get a refund. Two days later I did not receive anything in my bank statement. They then told me I could only get a credit, not a refund. I explained I had recently found out I was pregnant and wasn’t comfortable taking another class, but they refused to refund me. They offered me an extension for the credit to a year, but then told me I couldn’t transfer it to a friend because it was under my name.

This business is unprofessional, disorganized, and clearly more interested in pushing memberships than actually providing a quality experience. I wouldn’t recommend Club Pilates to anyone.

UPDATE: As you can see I have not had a good experience with this location. After hearing that I cannot get a refund and only had a certain time frame to come (before they gave me an extension) and I could NOT transfer to a friend I asked if I could transfer my credit to another location and they told me this wasn't allowed HOWEVER they told me NOW I can transfer this credit to a friend. I thought I couldn't though? All their staff seem confused on their own policies. I called another Club Pilates and they were AMAZING! They were able to transfer my credit to their studio. Once again this location is terrible. To add the manager is not the sweetest to ask for help or speak to.

Great studio , clean and affordable. Rebecca was my instructor and I found her to be very easy to follow along too, she was super kind answering my questions afterwards , as well as Stefani , who I believe is the owner. I am super excited to return, and start my health journey with club Pilates as my inspiration.

Terrible issues with person managing the desk and returning phone calls. The classes are good, but customer service is lacking.

Club Pilates Park Ridge is a clean and well-maintained studio, though it’s a bit small compared to other locations. Despite the limited space, the atmosphere is pleasant.

The instructor I highly recommend is Katie. She’s an incredibly tough teacher and really knowledgeable. Her teaching style is both challenging and encouraging. You have to book weeks in advance to get in one of her classes. I’ve learned so much from her, and I’ve seen visible results! She is definitely a favorite among her students, and her classes are always in high demand!

Another fantastic instructor is Lizzie. Her knowledge and sweet personality make every class enjoyable. She’s definitely a seasoned instructor and creates challenging classes. Book way in advance as well! Highly recommended studio!!

The studio is too crowded for reformers, the classes aren’t particularly challenging and operationally there are a lot of issues. T&C’s aren’t clear / quite punitive and booking classes without a membership is very difficult due to waitlists only being cleared as last minute cancellations (e.g., 5 mins before class starts) when there’s no chance to actually attend and it results in a lost class.

Every class is different! Instructors pay attention to class to see how they respond to exercises given - will slow down or challenge if necessary! VERY IMPT! If you are a beginner, and have never worked on a reformer and are not too flexible in the beginning, I highly recommend a one hour one on one with an instructor. It is worth it! Lizzie is amazing - very patient & helpful. Stephanie front desk general manager - doesn’t sugar coat anything and is totally knowledgeable. Steph gets to know EVERYONE and makes sure they feel at home. If you are thinking about working out again - pilates is the way to go!

I love the instructors here. I have learned so much from them in the past 8 months. The classes are amazing. The operational part is not. I am sorry I have to give this review but the scheduling and response to the scheduling glitches are unacceptable.
I have been removed from classes 11 times in the past three months. The last 8 times have happened in the past two weeks. I have all the cancellation emails,( and the confirmation ones) and have supplied them to the manager. The manager agrees that this is not on my end. However, she is unable to do anything about it. She wants to cancel my membership and give me a new one completely. This will lose all of my classes and history. I would not be on the schedule for another 3 weeks. The manager cannot do anything else and told me I can not have access to anyone in corporate to speak directly about this situation. The manager has informed me that I am the only one who ever had this problem.
I was believing this, until a friend of mine signed up for today's 630 am class, yesterday. She was on the wait list as number 8. This was one of many classes I was canceled on. I was the first on thewaitlistt for the same class since last week. I woke up at 5 am - dressed and waited to see if an opening happened and I would get into the class. I did not make the cut. My friend who was in 8th place did. She enjoyed her class and was surprised I was not there. Instead, I was waiting by my phone to see if an opening happened. I called the manager and still nothing she can do. I am the only person this happened to in the entire company. Is that true? The first time I was cut from a class- I took the blame- thought I did something. I did not. The third time I was cut, I went in without knowing it and was informed I was not on the list but another student was on it twice. That student confirmed she did not sign up twice for it . There is no way to sign up twice for the same time slot. Has anyone else had any experience like this?

I have been going to Club Pilates for over a year and every experience has been great except for today in Park Ridge. This was my first time at this location. I arrived early and parked across the street not knowing that wasn’t allowed since there were no signs. I walked in and asked if I could park there. The Lady at front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful saying I don’t know. Thankfully a member was nice enough to say no and told me where I could go find parking. I left, parked my car and now I was late. When I walked in the rude lady at the front desk gave me a negative look and said you know there’s underground parking I said no you didn’t tell me that earlier. She said there’s a five minute limit and what studio am I coming from and do I just walk into class whenever I want there? I’m usually very good about arriving on time. She knew I had a hard time finding parking and treated me as though I was walking in without a care in the world. I’m a dedicated paying member and was treated with total disrespect. That’s what you get when you deal with miserable people. The other studios are not like this. I will not be visiting this studio ever again.

I loved Club Pilates teachers and staff! I've cancelled my membership because they've limited the class size because of Covid, it is only 5 people in a class and mask required. It is impossible to find a space especially weekends and after work. So, I've cancelled my membership and looking for another place to continue.

I love Club Pilates Park Ridge! The instructors are very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. They truly care about their students: asking if there are any injuries, making sure we have the correct form and checking in with us throughout the class. The women at the front desk are very accommodating, friendly, and enthusiastic. I try to attend class six days and week, and no two classes are ever the same. Looking for a new workout? Call Club Pilates Park Ridge!!!! You won't be disappointed!
