Absolutely love Club Pilates!
The teachers here are amazing — so knowledgeable, patient, and motivating. Every class feels different and fun, and they always make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly and safely. The studio is clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy. I’ve noticed such a big improvement in my strength, posture, and overall well-being. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great workout and an encouraging community! 💪

I’ve been a member of Club Pilates Schaumburg for over three years, and it has truly changed my life. My body became much stronger and more flexible, and I finally fixed my lower back pain that I struggled with for years due to my work. Thanks to the amazing instructors and the well-structured classes, I feel healthier and more balanced than ever. This is honestly the best workout and one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself!

I really liked taking Pilates classes. It helps me to feel whole my body, nice stretching, breathing technique and so many different classes for your choice. Kathleen is my favorite instructor, she really takes her time to explaining everything, doesn’t rush you, gives you time to breathe out between exercises and she is so helpful during classes; putting or taking of the rings, she makes ready tools for next exercise, counting and it makes huge difference. Highly recommend her classes.

Walking into Club Pilates Schaumburg was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I have been attending on the unlimited monthly membership for almost 2 years now and it's worth every penny! I love the system they have if you sign up for a class and miss it you get a fee (that's accountability) Anytime I ran into a situation that could not be helped they were always willing to waive the fee.
The workouts that you receive are provided by well-trained instructors. They are there to push and challenge you with every move. Leo - her style is fierce and if you want to leave sweating then she's the instructor for you! She loves what she does so be ready to work in her classes. Especially love her 2.0 classes (would love to see some 2.5 options soon) Ava - she provides hard core workouts as well and always pushes you to go the extra mile even when you think you can't her cardio sculpt 1.5 is amazing!
Jess is one of the veterans at Schaumburg and every level class she teaches is amazing - her teaching style is very descriptive, and she provides excellent instruction especially for anyone thinking of trying Pilates for the first time. Also, great music and love her jokes while working out!
These are just a few instructors to mention in detail but Kathleen, Rose, Marnye, Maria, Dawn & Lisa all have a great style of their own, so you are bound to find an instructor that works best for you.
This studio is not intimidating, and everyone is pleasant and friendly.
I highly recommend Club Pilates Schaumburg!
I am 55 now and after starting in 7/2023 I am probably in the best shape of my life... all thanks to Pilates! Thank you!!

Love Club Pilates! The instructors really care about you and take the time to get to know you. My favorite instructors are Marnye and Leora. They always make class challenging and fun and I get a good workout. I love that they know the issues with my body and can provide alternates if something doesn't work for my knees. I only started this in my 60s and I am stronger than I was when I was in my 30s. Very happy with the results.

I recently started doing pilates at Club Pilates and absolutely love it! The instructors are amazing, the studio is clean and inviting, and the front desk staff is always friendly. You may need to plan ahead and book classes in advance, especially if you prefer evening sessions, but for me, that’s not a big deal.

I didn’t read reviews before purchasing the membership and I definitely should have.
Together with my friend we attended a free class (you have to be prepared that the class itself is free, but you have to buy those Pilates socks which are like $15-25) and we decided to purchase a membership. Let me tell you that we started to regret it as soon as the 2nd class. We both are full time students and also have jobs, so our schedules are pretty tight. During the first month we were able to only attend 2 classes because all the classes were full, there were 5+ people on the waitlist for each class. So we were unable to use the remaining 2 classes before the end of the month. No one also told us that credits don’t roll over and expire at the end of the month if you don’t use them, which was unpleasant surprise to say the least. So please consider all of these things, as well as $100 cancellation fee if you cancel during the first 3 months. I also wanted to say that our instructor Jennifer was amazing, and we enjoyed classes guided by her.

I am very disappointed with club pilates schamburg, I go today for a "free class" and they make me buy socks for $20, girls first told me that they have socks from $14-26$ and I want from $14, but she never found and I was going to buy from $20,but I didn't have a card with me, I could have paid with apple pay, but she said we don't accept it, why didn't anyone tell me on the phone that I should wear socks or write it to me in a message I didn't receive an email, I was going to make a membership today, but I left disappointed, I didn't even manage to use the "free class"

The instructors are amazing (I'd give them 5 stars), however, the business itself is disappointing. I had an unlimited membership for 3 months (as that is the commitment for that type of membership btw), and from day 1 I felt like the business is designed to take every penny they can from you. For example, you show up to the sample class and are supposed to have special socks with you...most people like me and my friend end up spending $15 on a single pair of grip socks for the "free class". Then, if you want to get the most out of your membership, the unlimited seems appealing vs. paying per individual class. However, there are so many rules that eventually you end up missing a class and will be charged $15 on top of your already pricey unlimited membership fee. You also have to book classes well in advance to get into them...you have to be cautious that if you were on a waitlist for a class two weeks away, that you remember to take yourself OFF the list the night before because if someone cancels a 6am class and you were next in line for a spot, even if this happens at 2am, you're now responsible for the fee if you don't make it to the class.
I also brought a friend to our sample class and was told I could not get the referral bonus...again, coming across as money hungry and misleading in my opinion. Then when we wanted to cancel the membership we got told different stories. My friend barely used her membership because she could rarely get into a class, so at the end of the three months she goes in to want to cancel and they wanted her to wait another month because that's alsoooo in the policy- they want a month's notice. On the other hand, I did not have a problem canceling. All in all, I loved Pilates and the instructors but do not care for the business itself nor did I feel that I got my money's worth.

I went here once. I love pilates and practice regularly, but I felt like the class was fast paced and I wish they would have checked my form more regularly, I always appreciate instructor feedback.
But what I disliked the most was being charged a ton of money for grip socks. It was like over $12 for a pair of socks. I was wearing socks when I walked in, I have worn regular socks many times to do pilates, and it seemed like a move to nickel and dime me. I had to pay for socks right at that moment or they wouldn't let me take the class. It left a very bad impression for me.

Club Pilates is now part of my weekly routine! I signed up for 8 classes a month in January 2023-- reason being: to get in shape for my wedding in September. For the most part, I went twice a week, and did not exercise in any other manner, except for pilates, and by September, I was even lower than my goal wedding weight! I knew I loved it from the beginning, but did not think that just staying consistent would pay off this well. Sign up for the free class. Try it, and see if it's something you like. Just remember, that consistency is key, and you will see tremendous results!

I went for an intro class and she said I needed to buy their grip socks or I could not join the class. On the agreement they sent nowhere it said I needed to have grip socks. I drove 30mins and I shouldn’t be obligated to purchase the grip socks and not make people aware as first time trying pilates grip socks are necessary or they can’t do the class.

if you know you love Pilates then this is the club for you. If you’re a beginner/never done it before … I’m not sure i would recommend it. First of all, you are locked in for 3 months once you sign up. Not a fan of gyms that rope you into a long-term contract. I’ve never done Pilates before so i did the intro class to see if i wanted to join — ended up liking it enough to sign up for the 4 classes a month package, and it’s over $100 a month. Pretty pricey. The teachers of the classes are really good though!
I just found out that I have to relocate to Park Ridge for a while, so i figured my package would be good at the Park Ridge club too… wrong. you can only go to other Club Pilates locations when you sign up for the “Unlimited” package (which is over $200 a month!!!!).
I asked if they could transfer my membership (since i’m locked in for 3 months) to the Park Ridge location, and they said no. You would think one would be able to go to any location when you’re paying over $100 a month for a membership.
I won’t be continuing my membership after my 3 month contract ends. Midtown Athletic and FFC gyms offer full gym memberships for under $150 and that includes unlimited access to all their Group Fitness classes (including Pilates), so I’ll be going back to that.

The cliff notes version of the novel (😂) I have written here is- YES SIGN UP! Your body will thank you! Here’s the whole scoop for anyone interested - > The CP ad kept showing up in my social media feed for months. I’ve never done reformer Pilates, so all the equipment I saw in the ad intrigued me and looked like fun. However; this year I had finally gotten my chronic pain under control with chiropractic and massage and laying off what I used to love to do (weight lifting and many hours of tennis a week). So, I kept putting off calling the CP studio, basically out of fear of my pain coming back. Something was pulling me to try this, though. And my Chiro was urging me to do many core exercises that I was seeing when I researched what CP was all about. So I just jumped in. I have loved it so much. I am an unlimited member now and go about 5 times a week. I can feel myself getting stronger. There are so many movements I can do better and less pain in the short 2 months I’ve been going. It is truly helping my lower back/glute/hip flexor issues by strengthening them… slowly. I even felt stronger when I played tennis for the first time in months the other night. I have completed about 28 classes and am starting to sprinkle in some higher level classes to slowly move up! All the instructors are so knowledgeable, kind and motivating! Jess has been a huge help in getting me acclimated and helping get multiple friends signed up for classes to join in the fun! I truly look forward to going to the studio everyday for me time! Thank you, CP, for giving me strength, mobility and flexibility back!

Absolutely wonderful place to go and work out the whole body while in a relaxing surrounding. My severe lower back pain that made me stop running and made even walking difficult is practically gone. I wish all the doctors and physical therapists that I saw through out the years to resolve my lower back pain had suggested Pilates years ago. This place has made every day living so much more enjoyable.

I'm really enjoying this new type of workout for me. The studio is extremely clean, well ventilated, with excellent equipment. Everyone who works here has been very professional, welcoming, and friendly. It takes a few classes to get the hang of things. Yes, it is more expensive than the YMCA or a chain gym, but with the small classes, it's close to having a personal trainer. I highly recommend.

Pilates has changed my life in more ways than I could've hoped for. Its strengthened my core; improved my back and posture; and has taught me that you don't have to do high impact exercises to get results. Any sport I do has been improved because of the small muscle stabilization, balance and core work.
Club Pilates specifically is a fantastic place to study. It is equipment based in a setting of 12 Reformers. So while its not a small boutique they do have limited space.
They begin teaching you the basics and build your strength for more advanced moves. It seems like anyone who has been hurt was not following the direction of the instructor or going into classes their body isn't ready for.
I did sign a 3 month contract with all details clearly outlined in the contract that was emailed to me. No hidden fees or surprises.
My background: ex 12 year crossfitter (which is also a great multifunctional workout) martial artist- kung fu, karate, jujitsu. I play sand volleyball, indoor volleyball, bowl, run, paddleboard and many other sports and activities. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 lumbar and 2 cervical discs are slipped plus lifelong Scoliosis.
Yet I do all of these things and take care in my Pilates training as I realize any workout is only as good as the effort and care put into it. Now I currently work there very part time and am studying to be a Pilates Instructor. Yes - it is that fabulous.
Enough excuses! Sign the contract, READ and comprehend it or ask questions. Put on your workout clothes and find out why Joseph Pilates truly had invented one of the best forms of exercise EVER!

Be aware that the contract they make you sign is designed to squeeze as much $ from you as possible even if they don’t provide you with anything for the money they charge you.
Club Pilates is very expensive, there are far too many options for far less and even more effective than this place. My experience is that at best you get some stretching benefits and at worst you may tweak your hip or back from the exercises and not be able to attend the very expensive classes for which you will pay for weather you can make it or not. I tried the 3 month trial and it seemed that after each class my back or hip really bothered me and I would not be able to make at least half of the classes I paid for. The bottom line is that there is no flexibility afforded to the customer if they are hurt and can’t attend the pre paid classes ( I mean pre-paid because you have to pay monthly at the beginning of the month ). There is a 30 day cancelation requirement and when I went in to sign the cancelation request I let them know that I am injured and thats why I have to cancel. My argument was that I am not getting anything in return for the fee Im paying. The response was that “ some gyms have the same policy “. I guess that makes this practice right. As another review put it, this place is unethical and very expensive. I don’t believe that the Schaumburg community should support this establishment

This place is AWFUL! They charge you for EVERY little thing. Even after you cancel your membership, they sneak in charges. $1200 later and I'm trying to get my money back since I CANCELLED SIX MONTHS AGO. And they tell me I can't get ANY of my money back because they are DISORGANIZED and DO NOT have ANY record of me cancelling. The woman, Jaclyn was extremely rude and condescending to me on the phone. Instead of being understanding and trying to help me she said "why did it it take you so long to see this on your account"? Hm I don't know JACLYN maybe because I was paying that credit card down and didn't think you'd continue to charge me for the next 6 months since I CANCELLED.

Updating my original review since the studio has made some improvements. I really love this place. The staff and trainers are very friendly and go out of their way to make your experience a positive one. They recently added more advanced classes which are a better workout for me than the lower level ones and as I'm getting stronger I hope the classes continue to be more challenging and more advanced. The studio is super clean and is a great workout. ❤❤
