Rob and Jake have changed my life! They are both keeping CFT running! No session is ever 30 minutes or an hour. They always give you an extra 5-10 minutes of their time. They are available always for questions about nutrition etc. Couldn't be happier!

I found this gym through networking in the Skokie area. I had always wanted to work with a personal trainer to work on things specific to my body. My trainer GiGi does just that! The staff is so thoughtful and thorough with intake. They place you with the trainer that will best suit your needs and your schedule. Gigi is an energetic sweetheart and truly cares about your health and well being. I love that she uses an app to send you workouts to do outside on your own as well as setting goals for mindfulness, water intake, protein etc. I told her that I love yoga and she made sure to include that in my program with her. Highly recommend working with these humble humans!

CFT is an amazing group of trainers determined to make clients feel successful. Rob and his staff are so supportive and motivated. I recently joined CFT in August 2022 and was matched with trainer Gigi.
Gigi has created workouts that work with my body structure and they also make me feel accomplished. She is so supportive and makes each workout fun- yes- we laugh alot!
I am so comfortable walking into CFT and getting my work in. The whole team makes me feel supportive and motivated to complete my workout and come back for more.

I started working out at CFT with Anthony September 2021! After gyms opened to full capacity, I wanted something with less people and more structure. I’m happy to support a local business full of young entrepreneurs. The whole team is professional, forever educating themselves, supportive, and hard working. I love seeing how all the trainers can pivot to young athletes to their older clients. That says a lot more than people realize. While initially I signed up for “weight-loss” my goals have shifted to becoming stronger and I can see that after each sessions with Ant! He challenges me with each session and has even joined me for a few. Haha! If you’re on the fence about your health journey, I highly recommend stopping by and having that discussion. Absolutely love this gym!! This is the best place to be, if you are serious about changing your lifestyle and reaching out to your goal. Jake and Rob, the owners are very professional and knowledgeable! Having Jake as my trainer is the best thing that ever happened to me. Past 15 years plus, I have signed up to many personal training sessions in many different gyms but CFT is something else!! From the moment I walked in to this gym, about 3 months ago till now I have lost 40lbs of fat and gained few lbs of muscle! Here they care about you, and if you are serious about your weight loss you will reach your goal. Jake is very professional, polite, knowledgeable and he is always there to help you in your journey! One thing he does is, he follows up on daily basis to check on you and he makes sure you stay on track. On days that you may think you had a bad day he is always there to support and lifts you back up again which is huge in weight loss journey! One if the best decisions I have made in my life!! Like SNL Molly Shannon's character Sally O'Malley says "I can kick, stretch and kick. I'm 50!" Having hit my 50th birthday last year, I wanted to make sure that I can kick, stretch and kick throughout my 50s. Fast forward one year, I'm celebrating my 51st birthday next week, and thanks to CFT I can do a helluva lot more than kicking and stretching. This girl can deadlift 135lbs! I've never worked with a trainer before nor thought about lifting free weights. Now having done both, I highly recommend Jake and Rob! They are confident, professional trainers in developing a program that tailors to your fitness goals. Thanks Rob and Jake for helping me be 50 and fabulous!

This place is life changing! My trainer Rob and the rest of the team are fully and genuinely committed to helping me reach my fitness goals. They meet you where you are at - no judgment included, and combine proven fitness techniques w/ full nutritional guidance along the way. I have talked to a few other members as well and everyone I talk to is EXTREMELY satisfied with this gym. Also, the physical space and equipment is very clean and professionally maintained. AND you never have to spend time looking for weights - or dodging other gym goers (because its a private gym). HUGE plus for me! In years past, I went to the big gyms and dreamt of six-pack glory. Those days are gone. I've rediscovered the real value of exercise for a healthy, active life and overall well-being. Enter C.F.T.
I have been working out with the team at Commitment Fitness Training three days a week for approximately 5-6 months. When I started, I was lacking general fitness, muscle tone, flexibility and felt fatigued often. After some months of focused strength training, I'm stronger, more flexible and defined, understand my fitness goals better and I'm definitely healthier than when I started.
It's a fun, friendly fitness journey as well. I look forward to my workouts, it's an uplifting atmosphere to workout in, a great place to unplug and work off the stressors from your day.
Jake, Rob and the team at C.F.T. are knowledgeable about the training they offer, friendly and welcoming clients at all levels of fitness and create workouts for individuals based on their specific goals. On top of that, the guys live it, they practice what they preach.
Yes, workouts are hard. I tell the dumbells "you are not my friends" when I drop them after a set, but they are tools, one of many that the C.F.T. crew use in their practical, no-nonsense workout studio to guide their clients towards attaining their fitness goals. Absolutely love this gym! I joined because I have several old injuries that have prevented me from working out on my own from my time in the army and I wanted professional help to get back into shape while not aggravating the old injuries. I got exactly that! The gym is always clean, all the trainers are amazing and very nice and helpful, the training quality is phenomenal, and it’s all without the pressure and stresses of a commercial crowded gym!

Just finished 32 sessions with Rob who made everything I told him i was looking to accomplish happen. “Henry is a fantastic trainer. He makes sure to tailor workouts according to my fitness goals, explains the benefits of the exercises we’re doing, and consistently shows me new exercises. He’s very motivating and encouraging. If you are looking for a PT who genuinely cares, encourages you, is willing to work with your schedule and doesn't let you fall off when you miss ( because he will text you with a make up day when you miss a session) then Henry is your guy!!! Jake is so knowledgeable, professional, and patient. Having gained weight during COVID, and having a baby my body was in rough shape! Jake has taken his time to make sure my husband and I are doing everything safely. He is one call away when we need to contact him. He is flexible to change things around if need be. He pays close attention and makes sure I am doing the proper form. The equipment is always clean and his workouts are difficult but catered to what we need individually.
