Signed up to try, was not able to make it. For the past months I am getting emails and texts from CorePower Yoga and not able to unsubscribe. So very annoying, asked and asked but those emails are still coming and no way to remove myself. Fix it!
Update: Tried contacting customer service....email did not go though........(see image)

The instructors and classes are phenomenal. The studios are kind of nasty, mirrors are always dirty and floor has a thick coating of...? something? sweat? on it.

I signed up for a C2 noon class today and when I got there it was a fully hot room. I couldn't afford to sweat a ton today so I let the instructor know unfortunately I had to leave. She said Core Power was a hot yoga studio and all classes but C1 were heated. Which isn't true at all. Ive been to plenty of C1, C2, and restorative classes at normal temperature. Only HPF and sculpt are heated as far as I know.

If there was a hot yoga class before in that room then no worries, it was just bad timing for me and I couldn't take the class. Classpass gave me my credits back. I just wish they only used one of the rooms for heated classes and used the other for non-heated. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

This place is my favorite. I love that I get to sweat a lot during my workout. My favorite teacher is Lauren she is amazing and super nice and friendly and very welcoming. Also Jill, Tony and Sally are amazing teachers I love their positivity and energy. 🙂 you should try one of their classes, I promise you gonna love it!! ❤️

The instructor for 6am class was so enthusiastic and energetic! I loved it. Studio was clean and has outlined spots that are socially distanced.

Over the past 3ish years that I have been going here ( seasonally ) the staff and this facility has been wonderful and healing to me. Monika the manager has been amazing and only Gold- 5Star reviews to her. She has always been kind, fair, and very responsive via email.

This location can get 'busy' at times where you are 'closer' to others in class, but I personally have never experienced or felt it to be a negative thing.
I also attend the Elmhurst location and experience the same in studio. I appreciate how each studio vibe is similar and welcoming.

Location needs to work towards inclusivity

Humaira Ahmed- My experience has been tarnished by the Karen yogee of this location. As a woman of color and someone who wears the head scarf, I experience micro aggressions at times but did not expect the treatment I received today. During my Saturday hot yoga class, I was standing underneath the heater and moved at the start of the class to an open location. Karen started by giving me a stink eye and rudely told me to move, despite the fact that she had room to her left. I quietly moved as much as I could, but was unable to because there was a pillar to the right of me. She glared at me and huffed and puffed before stomping to the front of the classroom. All of this could have been avoided if she asked nicely but the whole class, she kept eyeing me as if I did a huge injustice. After class, my friend confronted her, and she started yelling about how it had ruined her "karma". The staff at this location heard us out but didn't want to take sides. In matters of injustice, not taking a side is still taking a side. I'm disappointed that no one said anything to stop that lady for yelling and acting in an entitled manner. To CorePower Karen, your actions have consequences. As a white woman, you should be aware that your body language and entitled behavior affects people. People come to yoga to detox from stressful weeks. Your toxicity is not welcome. Please do better and speak With respect. Try not to ruin peoples day. Thank you!

I’ll start off by saying I tried stopping in at 4pm on a Saturday and the doors were locked(whatever)Then when I noticed a lady by the window and she didn’t seem to care that I was trying to come in. I assumed they had just closed and no big deal. I proceeded to go back to my car and check the hours. I returned because the hours state open till 10pm. What I assume is an instructor comes to the door kinda like what do you need and not in a how can I help you way. The final straw was during our conversation she proceeds to tell me how expensive it is all while not giving me a price even though I wasn’t really interested in prices yet. I was more interested in how classes are scheduled with COVID. In our conversation I informed her that this is not my first time in a yoga studio. If it was! who cares!?Not professional or very welcoming

The studio is amazing and the instructors are truly compassionate and thoughtful. Jill D is my favorite, her weekly messages are so inspiring and have helped me to look at my life through a new lens. I've been practicing yoga for 7 years at 6 different yoga studios and have had dozens of instructors trying to find the right fit for me and my practice. CPY in AH is truly top notch! Kudos to this team, I'm so happy to have them in Arlington Heights.
