The studio it self it great. The teachers are strong. But the parking lot attendant is terrible. He's super mean. Speaks with such frustration and disgust that you're there for yoga. He is so rude every time I get anxious about arriving. I don't even want to come to this location any more because of him. The studio is supposed to have a certain amount of parking for yoga attendees and frankly the lot is empty and he wanted my keys to park my car when the 20+ other times he did not need my keys and I do not feel comfortable giving a mean man yelling at me my car keys.

Booked a class with gympass. Poor instructions on parking situation. It took a while for me to find parking was 3 minutes late to get into the studio, only to find the studio locked and zero instructions on how to get inside. And the most frustrating part is I tried calling the studio it went straight to their corporate office and I was put on waiting. Super frustrating, bad experience.

I was here a 5 minutes late and the door was locked. Tried to knock on the door but no front desk here. Also tried to call but didnβt went through. I get it that youβre supposed to be on time, and I know itβs on me to be late. But if youβll be locking the door as soon as the time hits, at least put it in the confirmation email so I can save a trip.

I've been a long term CorePower Yoga client. I've always enjoyed the facilities, instructors and the C2 yoga classes.
I normally only get pack of 5 - 10 classes however a little over a month ago, I signed up for a 1 month trial at $99. I was told there will not be an autorenewal and I will be asked for approval if I choose to keep a monthly subscription after the month trial.
Unfortunately, CorePower did not ask for any approval and is now charging me $189/monthly for a subscription that I did not accept nor signed up for. I didn't notice this until I was reconciling my credit card charges. Not only did they not cancel my subscription immediately but are now requiring a 30 day notice prior to cancelling and making me responsible for the additional 30 day notice period.
It's rare for me to write negative reviews however writing this so others don't fall for this type of business practice.
After almost 7 years of being a loyal customer, I unfortunately, I will no longer support CorePower Yoga as a customer.

PROS
They have lots of class options. Good teachers. And a lovely lobby area.
CONS
The room is cramped. You canβt reach your arms to do a full body stretch in the back row bc you hit the wall.
The mats smell like body odor and food. Cleaning them doesnβt help much.
The sequences are not creative. After 6 rounds of the same thing Iβm done.
After 2 visits, I wonβt go again.
AND they replied but ignored their mats being foul, the room being small, and the class sequence being a yawn. The class was only half full, and I still could not lift my arms over my head because the room is just small They put three rows of mats in there with the last row right against the wall. I had already reported the mats to them but they never followed up.

Yoga here is great! Parking situation is not.
The older guy working at the valet will YELL at you for not obeying the signs. I do have a taller truck and did not see the signs while pulling in. Mind you the valet signs are super low to the floor. I apologized for missing the signs and I was continued to be yelled at. It was my first time coming here by car and you are better off paying for the $3 street parking than dealing with the people at the parking lot.

Instructor was good. We did the 8:15am Saturday class, and that is my only experience with this location. The class / location would have been 5 stars if they had 5 star or 6 fewer people. Everyoneβs mats were touching and you were in each others space. I really struggled to get out of my head and do anything because I was pre-occupied with touching someone or invading their space. I have never been in a yoga class where you are packed liked sardines. I can now confidently say I hate it.

STAY AWAY! Core Power Yoga is an unethical company, in my opinion. I tried to put my membership on pause for three months due to an injury and they insist on charging me for the following month, even though my doctor has advised me not to do exercises such as yoga.

If you want to do yoga in a smelly environment go for it. Zero personal space. Sweat from other people was touching my mat and my feet. So if youβre into that, go for it!
Heard really good comments about core power, but looks like the oversold memberships and thereβs no cap for classes. Not sure if theyβre aware of that.
*I did a trial class (the professor was awesome), but yeah the crowdedness and zero space made me not pick this facility.

Only been once and am a beginner to yoga, I did the hotpower fusion(HPF) with Kelly, I absolutely loved it. You can work at your own pace and the constant encouragement is an obvious plus. The environment was really clean and spacious and I hope to be back soon!!!

I am very disappointed with CorePower Lakeview. I have been practicing with CP for over 10 years and have spent likely thousands of dollars with them. I received an email from their Assistant Studio Manager saying that I missed paying for a class a month ago and that they would need to charge me. She said that their instructors often do not appropriately scan in guests, leading me to believe they send out multiple weekly emails asking guests to retroactively pay for classes that was induced by their oversight. I received such an email, and asked in the spirit of good customer service that they would kindly cover this as it is 4 weeks later and I should have purchased a package that day, which was likely also not charged. Her response to my poor experience was ". I have purchased your last drop in a rate of $26 dollars on your card ...If you choose to practice elsewhere we are sorry to see you go." I'm shocked that this is how CorePower treats their long time and loyal yogis over $26.

Classes and instructors are good, but the studio does not have a community feel or a friendly vibe. Instructors and staff make no effort to learn your name or make you feel welcome. The feeling is very much one of a big, commercial gym and does not foster the spiritual aspects of yoga. It is a good workout, but you're on your own. Instructors are very hands off and do not give many tips or take personal time with students. I go to another smaller gym (not yoga studio) for a community feel and meditation.

OBSESSED! This is the only way to describe my love for CorePower, I bought the Groupon for month unlimited and after that ended I knew I had to continue. The instructors are amazing and the classes continue to challenge me every week. I love Vic's 6am sculpt class, it's the perfect way to start my week. I highly recommend everyone trying out their first week free program, you won't be disappointed.

Neighbor on George Street,
I took the free week and on the second day my wallet got stolen from the locker room. This happened right after the class and the staff an instructor did not made the minimum effort to retrieve it or inquiry around. It is annoying and this type of situations may happened, however, a more proactive response was expected from the staff and instructor. They didn't even seem surprise or annoyed by the situation.
I like the class but if you are a consistent attendant to that studio be mindful and do not bring your personal belongings to the studio.
I never came back, first time I get robe at a yoga studio after 8 years of attending to yoga studios.
