I took Brigette’s 10:30am HPF class yesterday and WOW! What a gift! Aside from Brigette’s being one of my favorite teachers, there is just nothing like a good, hot set sequence to kickstart the day! Thanks, Bridge!!

I regularly attend the Sunday free community classes. Alyssa is fantastic! I have also paid for a class and there is absolutely no difference between the paid and the free ones. Great place, great people! Highly recommend!

I have been going to this location for years and have not had a problem until now. I had instructor Hilary S. and like a previous reviewer, it wasn’t a good experience. Hilary S. thought it was appropriate to adjust my feet using her feet. I was beyond disgusted and told her, “I don’t do adjustments or touching.” Hilary later felt it was appropriate to then make another adjustment to me except this time by snapping her fingers.
I would like to state again that I have gone to this studio for years and had over 10 other instructors and never had a problem before this.

Nice studio, great and challenging classes. My only complaint would be the constant chattering from other class mates. Specifically the more packed classes like 5:15pm. Even tiny whispers can be heard at the beginning, during, and end of class. Not saying all classes are like this but it would be nice if instructors could call it out.

I visited the CorePower Yoga location in Roscoe Village with my fiancé using their free week promo. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Upon arrival, my fiancé informed the instructor, Hilary S., that he had never done yoga before. She gave a brief tour and then left us to wait in the studio. The first thing we noticed was the music—explicit rap with profanity and racial slurs, which felt extremely inappropriate for a yoga class. It made us uncomfortable, especially as the only people of color in the class.
Hilary mentioned that the heat had been left on overnight, making the room excessively hot and humid before class even started. There was condensation on the floor, which seemed like a safety hazard. During the class, Hilary did not demonstrate the movements, which made it difficult to follow—especially for those at different skill levels. She also frequently changed her verbal instructions mid-sentence, causing confusion.
One of the most off-putting moments was when my fiancé and I stopped simultaneously to drink water, and Hilary abruptly shouted at us to save conversations for after class. We weren’t even speaking—just hydrating due to the extreme heat. This interaction felt unnecessarily hostile.
After class, there was no follow-up, no check-in about our experience, and no discussion about membership options. Hilary was chatting with a coworker and didn’t acknowledge us until we said goodbye first.
Overall, this experience did not align with what I expected from a yoga studio. If CorePower aims to create a welcoming and professional environment, they need to address the music choices, instructor engagement, and overall class structure.

Did my first yoga sculpt class today at this location and could not have been happier! Sonya is an amazing instructor- her class was challenging, the studio was hot, and the music was great! The studio and women’s locker room were also very clean. Definitely will be coming back!!

The classes and instructors are great but the studio is so dirty. The men's locker room has a weird smell and there are always random clothes in the empty lockers. They've also stopped supplying wipes in the classes to wipe down blocks, weights, etc. The studios also don't feel like they're cleaned between classes which causes concern.

Let’s go Roscoe Village! They have the absolute kindest team! The studio has so many great class options to work with my schedule, always clean, always positive energy! Special thanks to Alana & Hillary teaching YS, Maddie in HPF, & Kelly’s C2 classes!

Guys I recommend cross training here. If you're doing combat sports but your flexibility is subpar, get over here for a few weeks and try it out. I feel my recovery got better, I have more explosiveness, cardio and power. Plus it's a peaceful environment.

I love CPY Roscoe Village! The schedule has tons of options and the studio is well maintained. But far and away, the best thing about coming here are the instructors. I love the creativity and passion they put into developing a sequence or a playlist, the attention to detail in their cues, and the thoughtful intentions they set at the beginning of class. Not to mention how warm, kind and welcoming they are; I truly consider them friends of mine now. Shout out in particular to Jamie, Bridgette, Michelle F, Paco, Elissa and Asha!

This review is specifically for Claire B - it was my first time at CorePower ever but not my first hot yoga class, Claire had the MOST welcoming radiant energy. She showed me around the studio before leading such a fun class. It was challenging but accessible, balanced strength and stretching, and had a great playlist. Her energy was truly so much fun during the class. She even checked in with me after the class to see if I liked my first experience. This class is not close to me but I plan on still making my way back there just to take another class with her. Highly recommend for newbies and experienced yogis alike!!

Alana Andrews teaches one of the most challenging sculpt classes in the Chicagoland area. She's fantastic. If you are interested in a workout that targets and fatigues both the larger muscle groups and the small yet important muscles that are typically weaker, I highly recommend her classes at Roscoe and Lincoln Park. She changes up the routine every couple months, which is beneficial because students can see their progress from week to week. And she's absolutely ripped, so she obviously practices what she preaches.

Love the instructors, great studio, always clean and well organized. Love Hot Power Fusion and Sculpt. Thanks for being understanding about seniors with injuries. On average I'm probably 30 years older than everyone in class and never feel out of place. Killer workouts that keep me in great shape. Thank you!

THE nicest people in all of Chicago. I feel so welcomed and accepted at this studio — the teachers are gracious, kind, and so encouraging. Special thanks to Michelle, Elena, and Izzy — love these ladies. And Tony (manager) is a gem, as well! I’m only a once/twice-a-week yogi, but I absolutely love coming to the studio and hope to take more classes as time/commitments allow. Thank you all for being amazing humans!

I have only been to Martha's Hot Power Fusion class at this location but can not say enough positive things about my experience!
Everyone was friendly and helpful but Martha really created a relaxing and informative experience.
She did a great job at staying engaged and communicating effectively through out the class. I never had to guess what I should be doing as she was clear and concise with her instructions.
I will definitely be back to this location!

I loved coming here! The instructors are great and super friendly. Special shoutout to Kayleigh for being an awesome instructor. Definitely recommend core power yoga to anyone regardless of experience. Little pricey (must yoga places are) but it is certainly worth the money!

Clean studio with a very welcoming community. Each workout pushes you to your own limits. Hot Power Fusion yoga is my favorite, you can sweat out any stress you have and not even notice till its gone and the class is over.

I newer to yoga/the studio. I have been to class a handful of times and can honestly say every time I have felt welcomed and warmed. The classes will be tough for a beginner but the instructors are extremely motivating. Try it out!

The teacher was very welcoming and gave me a brief tour. I hadn’t been to the studio in over a year. There were only 3 of us in the class. She gave us hands on adjustments, but didn’t make us feel bad for not having correct postures. I will be back for more classes here!

I love CorePower. This was the first gym that helped me to really get into yoga. I especially liked the Hot Power Fusion classes offered. I went from being terrible - I could not even touch my toes - to being able to do several difficult poses in 2 short months. This gym is a less clean than other CorePower gyms in the area, but that is my only complaint.

I have only done Sculpt classes and I think they are great. One of my favorite things about CorePower Roscoe Village is that most of the instructors make an effort to make me feel welcome and get to know me. It makes it a very comfortable place to go. The studio is clean. The classes are effective and exciting.
