An energizing and supportive studio experience from start to finish. The instructors are motivating, knowledgeable, and really help you push your practice while staying safe. The variety of classes keeps things interesting and challenging, and the space itself feels clean, spacious, and welcoming.
Whether youβre a seasoned yogi or just getting started, youβll feel comfortable and supported while you grow stronger and more centered. If youβre looking for a studio that offers both intensity and serenity, this is a gem in the South Loop.

Essentially the McDonalds of yoga, I did actually meet a cool gentlemen there named Miles. He is a smooth fellow and will outgrow that place someday, so they should be happy to have him. This location has a killer view (and free parking wassup!)

I love yoga since the day when I workout with CorePower Yoga, and because Yoga helps me to build my body strength, release my muscle knot and give me a peace of mind.
All the instructors are very professional, supportive and friendly.

I used to (~6 years ago) attend CorePower classes all over Chicago and loved them. Maybe things have changed? This review is only for Chrisβ Friday 9:30am CP2 class. But Iβd call it a CP.5 class, as that is the level of challenge offered. First things first though. Why was the classroom door open wide to the lobby until the start of class? Two issues with that. No heat built up in the room. And there was no zen either, since the lobby was very loud at that time. But back to the actual class. If you are looking to stretch in poses usually flowed through in a vinyasa sequence (and oddly, perform other athletic stretches), this is the class for you. If youβd actually like to flow, skip this one.

I have been a regular at the Southloop corepower for 2 1/2 years. Hand down the friendliest corepower in the city. I love all teachers: Andrea, Erin, Amanda and all the team. I wanted to do a shot out to Gitana who teach HPF on Sunday at 6:30am. Yes, you need motivation to be at the studio on Sunday at 6:30am but she is worth waking up early. She has a contagious energy and kindness. She is so fun and natural and makes the same flow so different each time just by tweaking little things. I am always looking forward to come early on Sunday, just because of Gitana. So thanks Gitana for being an amazing teacher and human.

Iβve taken several CorePower Yoga classes with Erin, and she is absolutely fantastic! She creates an energizing and welcoming atmosphere that makes every session both challenging and rewarding. Her instructions are clear, her sequences flow seamlessly, and she always offers helpful modifications and adjustments for different skill levels. Highly recommend!

This location represents all that CorePower is about. Great instructors, clean studio and hot studio for a great yoga experience. I highly recommend this location. The West Loop location is the one that needs significant attention around the cleanliness of the location.

LOVE Mariah's YSculpt and Andrea G's C2 on the weekend. The classes are so challenging but they both made them so much FUN and so rewarding. Every time Mariah pushes me to my extreme (she's a beast when she's teaching, lol) and Andrea leads me to fly through difficult poses like a breeze. I'm thankful for taking their classes and can't recco enough!!!

5/5!? 10/10!!!! I'm just going to copy and paste what I sent them directly as feedback. I just thought it wasn't enough and needed to share, just incase if someone was on the fence of trying it out!
To whomever it may concern:
My name is Larissa Ramirez, and I just wanted to say that I have had the best experience in COREPOWER Hot Yoga classes this past week. There is something special about every inch of your body sweating at the end of the day. Being a functional adult-means that there are various stressors throughout the day that one encounters. Just wanted to say that it had been so magical to be able to reflect and be so vulnerable in a place that is the complete opposite of pretentious. The guidance received from ALL of the different instructors was just so welcoming. Literally left every session/practice like *insert in the feels big eyed emoji*. I signed up for the free trial week, and used it 3x! One session was not enough! Thatβs how amazing that was. I now don't see myself not doing it. Wish it was a little more practical on the $ end, but I want to think that if I do this- it will be an investment in me, because I have left every practice a better human. (Meaningβpatient, less irritated, calm- as a person who has dealt with trauma and has chronic anxiety and depression, my happiness is directly tied to my sense of safety and belonging). THANK YOU for providing a space that brings me just that. Is it too much to say that I love you all at the south loop location?
With immense gratitude,
Larissa Ramirez

South Loop is an awesome studio perched on top of a parking garage with amazing views of the city to enjoy during your practice. Staff are friendly and take a genuine interest in all their class members. They always make an effort to remember my name, which makes me feel like a part of the community. Facilities are clean and well kept, too.

We booked a private session with Margarita as part of a birthday celebration and she really surpassed our expectations! She made the class functional but fun and she was mindful that many of our guests were novices to yoga. She did a phenomenal job at modifying the workout for all fitness levels. She is without question one of the best instructors on your team, her dynamic workouts & well thought out playlists creates an infectious energy in the studio. We were ecstatic she agreed to teach the class for us!

I am giving Corepower- the company not this location a one star review because I have been trying (for a month and a hlaf) to get a refund for a membership fee they withdrew from my bank account without my authorization and even worse while their studios have been still closed.
They are not responding to my requests, phone calls or email.

Amazing view with windows facing the skyline make for a great session! Unfortunately with all the windows- that also means that the rooms get INCREDIBLY hot! Even for non-heated classes the rooms have sometimes been unbearably hot making some classes difficult to participate in. Instructors are great, plenty of parking available, bike parking at ground level also available. Wish theyβd have a way to cool rooms off more effectively at this location.

I was visiting from the Philadelphia area and don't have a CPY less than 35 minutes from me so I checked out South Loop while I was on a business trip. I cannot say enough good things about Dave and Olivia's classes. You all were so welcoming and incredible teachers. I will visit any time I am in your area and look forward to that incredible view. Thank you guys for enhancing my trip to Chicago immensely!

I have been disappointed this month. It happens that the amazing great instructors are leaving. Carmilla is one amazing instructor which I miss since the has stopped teaching several of her evening classes at South Loop. No one! No one is like her. Her classes are hard work driven and her music selection great. Please bring her back. Her classes get filled fully due to her amazing teaching of sculpt yoga. I been bored with the other instructors. Why are great instructors leaving?

The thing that stands out the most is how great the teachers are at CorePower South Loop. They genuinely care about your practice, and it's super easy to build up a rapport with your instructor. I actually look forward to the classes because of the instructor. I'd also say that I enjoy the class structure. I've only been doing yoga for a few months, so I really appreciate that most of the poses we do have both more challenging and more accessible variations. I really have nothing bad to say. It's an awesome community, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I enjoy it so much that I go every day!

Great space for yoga practice. Ideal for drivers, with free parking nearly at the door, which is great when coming and going to a hot yoga class. The studio rooms themselves are pretty nice, offering a view of the city. Some classes can get unbearably got if you setup your mat too close to the window. This is a popular studio, so get to class a bit early during peak am or pm class times to get a good spot, as some classes can get really full.

I go to the gold coast studio and I love the yoga and the yoga instructors.
The only thing I would change is the space. It feels somewhat small when I am in there. There is only one studio.
The location is great. It is right by my apartment, which is very convenient especially for the morning classes.
I also like buying my yoga clothes there. They have special deals and promotions. They had a sushi night and sales which was a ton of fun.

The thought of doing yoga in a heated room made me cringe. Yet my sister asked me to join her for a class and I was hooked. The studio has FREE PARKING ( the make it or break it factor) and a wonderful view of the city, especially at night while doing candlelight yoga. The instructors are patient and encouraging. Overall I love this place and highly recommend trying it out.

This is about South Loop. For full disclosure, I am regular there, although not necessarily because I
Pros
Nice location - great view of downtown (depending on the particular studio) and getting in and out is easy.
Superb parking - never had a problem.
Easy check in - they give you a card which makes it quick and smooth.
Clean facility.
Reasonable price at about $10+ per 60-minute class.
Cons
High variance of instruction. You could be doing the same intended session (say Hot Power Fusion) and get a totally different workout. The reasons for this are clear and are as follows:
1) The instructors are not required to be rigorous yogis themselves. Not being well-versed in the practice cannot make you a good instructor (no matter how noble the intention).
2) The instructors are allowed too much flexibility and they in turn introduce too much variation into the routine.
3) One pet peeve of mine β sometimes this variation may be a too long hippy introduction (so we end up standing there for more than five minutes while the instructor prattles on about his/her latest diurnal epiphany).
4) Temperature variations are high with the room generally not being hot enough for an effective hot yoga session.
Conclusion: If you want anything better than a half decent workout go to CorePower (which is why I go). But if you are in the mood for some serious rigorous yoga try elsewhere (maybe Bikram).
