Another update: still great, everything still stands. I joined the 60 Day MaxBurn Challenge. It has changed the way I look at nutrition and daily Macro nutrition needs. This is a game changer. Amazing work Jesse.
UPDATE:
Coming up on six months. Still here, still loving it. Wanted to add that my daughter completed the Summer Kids Camp and it was amazing for her. She is a tumbler and the workouts did wonders for her vertical jump as well as core strength. She highly recommends this summer kids class.
I joined a few weeks ago and have been coming regularly, the workout has not been even near a repeat since starting. The trainers and community havr been inviting and supportive. I'm really happy I found this place!

I first tried CKF at the Algonquin location and loved it, but due to changes in my schedule I wasn’t able to continue there. I now go to the South Elgin location, and honestly, I can’t help but wonder why I didn’t join sooner! From the moment I walk in, I feel confident and welcomed.
The staff here is amazing—always attentive and ready to answer any questions. I especially appreciated the body scan when I signed up. Jesse takes the time to explain the results and helps create solutions to reach your goals. The energy and vibe at this location are upbeat and motivating, and I’m so grateful to have met (and continue meeting) such wonderful members.
This gym truly stands out from others because the team genuinely supports you and encourages your personal growth. I’m only about two months in, and I’m already happy with my progress.

I just joined today and I am so glad I did! My first session was with Adrian and he did a great job guiding me through the workouts step by step. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and overall concept of guided, circuit based workouts! I recently joined Cross Kicks and I love it!! It’s very flexible and I can workout on my time. You can put in a quick 20 workout if you don’t have a lot of time or throw down 45 mins and leave feeling amazing!! The workouts are different every day! So it NEVER gets boring! Just wanted to share my experience here at CKF I only did 30 days (will be back) very beginner friendly. I seen a lot of Cindy her over all energy and motivation was extremely helpful kept me going to get to the “finisher”. Jessie was very helpful with explaining of the micros, calories down to my beginner comprehension, patient and compassionate about the work/knowledge he provides. Best gym experience I’ve ever had! Welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere from the trainers, owners, and all of the other gym-goers I’ve met. I wanted to share some insights on Cross Kicks Fitness. Many years ago I was a member of their original location in Algonquin. I was there for 3 years. Unfortunately I moved from the area to a new town and fortunately they open a location very close to my home. I just joined again and have been a new member for 10 days. I have been to 6 workouts and can say with 100% confidence, this is the best way to get in shape and have a great experience. In addition to the workouts, the people and culture are phenomenal. Jesse and team have made this a great experience for me and I look forward to going 4-5 times a week to get myself back into the best shape of my life. I am 62 years old and recommend this for everyone at any age. Get off your butt and come visit and see what it is all about. So happy to be back as a part of the Cross Kicks Family...

I’ve been going to different gyms for over 25 years. Coming from a former “jock” a lifetime ago and someone that has tried out multiple types of gyms…. Hands down Crosskicks is the best workout experience I’ve ever had. I was SUPER skeptical and hesitant, thinking this may be a bit gimmicky, and I was totally wrong to go in there with that attitude.
No one is going to make the decision for you to improve your fitness and physical capabilities. That’s something you have to all on your own. BUT, if you are willing to put in the work. This staff (and the membership/, which is incredibly accurate. community) will do EVERYTHING possible to help you obtain your goals. You have a certified personal trainer there helping you every step of the way. They help you with your meal plans, they help you track your goals, the owners and staff help you with detailed analysis of your body fat, your muscle mass, your internal water levels, and so much more. The equipment for all of that is InBody, which is incredibly accurate. They help you track your heart rate and calorie burn if you desire, using “myzone” technology, which gives you real time data of your heart rate, calorie burn, and so much more. The trainers and owners are there to help you from start to finish in your workouts. Not only are they motivating you along the way, but they are showing you and teaching you the correct form, they are adjusting and tailoring the workout to your capabilities. They truly are there to help you.
The workouts are set up for you, different each day to maximize efficiency in every way. You can be a complete beginner or a competitive athlete and they have got you 100% of the way. You don’t have to think about “what do I do next?” or “what should I do for this or that?” You just show up and put in the effort. One of the most surprising aspects of this gym though is the community… Don’t get me wrong… you can keep to yourself if that’s your thing. No worries. This gym’s membership though is something completely different than what I’ve experienced at other gyms in the past. You instantly have a group of people that are welcoming, and want to see you succeed in your goals. Lots of encouragement, lots of friendly faces, a ton of people willing to help and look out for you along the way. Super foreign to me at first, but I love it now. And it’s like that across the board at every location I’ve been to so far! I frequent the South Elgin location the most, but I’ve spent my fair share of time at the original spot in Algonquin. I love going to those two spots. If you are serious about wanting to improve certain aspects of your fitness and life, I highly recommend this place. If you stick with it, you won’t regret it! I do not enjoy working out. My motto is "I only run towards food or away from danger." So I never thought I'd find a gym or a workout routine that I enjoyed- and I am SHOCKED how much I enjoy going to CrossKicks. This gym is for ALL LEVELS and ALL AGES- there are people who are clearly very intense about their workouts all the way to newbies/beginners. And the beautiful part is that everyone helps everyone. The coaches are phenomenal, but if they are busy with another client, there is no shortage of other members around willing to help if you have questions. I love this place and may actually stick to a workout routine outside of my home for the first time since college!

I love CKF. I used to go to Lifetime but never knew what to do there. I'd spend most of my time on the treadmill, stationary bike, or join one of the fitness classes but never got any results. I looked into a personal trainer, but I could not justify spending that much on one. My friend told me about CKF, and I decided to give it a go. Jess has everything planned out each day, so when you get in, there's no thinking, just doing. Monday and Thursday are leg day, Tuesday and Friday are arms day, and Wednesday is full-body/cardio. Jesse or another coach is there the whole time to help you. It's basically like having a personal trainer that is included in your membership. You start at station one and work your way around the room. Each station has your workout to do, and you're finished within 45-60 mins. I do recommend logging your weights in an app or something so you can keep track of your progress. This is a very well structured gym. Great energy in the place and is perfect for anyone who is just starting off or feels awkward going to gyms. I highly recommend it!

Seriously the best gym in the area! And I've been a member of ALL of them at some point! This is the kind of place you WANT to go work out, no matter what shape you're in.... The coaches are the best, you basically get a personal trainer every day all the time to help modify to your fitness level, or if you have some kind of injury, you will have a professional to help you through it. And make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and effectively. But the best part is the workouts are FUN and the people are like FAMILY! I’ve tried a lot of gyms and classes in the past, but CFK is the best! Gabe and Jesse are the best trainers! There is no cliquey-ness I’ve felt at other popular gym classes and no judgement. I recommend CFK not only for the convenience and effectiveness but also the environment!

Great gym and great workout. They are always available to help out with form, goals, health and motivation. Great atmosphere as well. Members are always pushing you to do your best and very encouraging. Worth at least trying out with 3 day trial.

CrossKicks Fitness is a great place to workout! I was drawn to it because I wanted a place with a full-body, structured workout that I wouldn’t get bored with, and kickboxing was a plus! This gym accomplishes all! As a mom, I also didn’t want to be stuck to an after-work schedule, so when I found out I could be here at 6 am and still be home in time to feed my kids before school, I was thrilled.
Jesse is a fantastic coach! He is a morning person and always upbeat and welcoming when I walk in the door, still half asleep. He will walk you through every round, showing you how to do the moves. There are usually 7-8 rounds of different workouts on different days, and a FUN-isher for those ambitious types ;). It’s a great, small community and I’m glad I joined back in late April!

I’ve been coming to Cross Kicks now for a few months and am seeing great improvement in my energy, strength and endurance. Everyone at the gym is friendly and Jesse is great trainer and person and genuinely wants to help you achieve your goals. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

I joined CKF originally at the Hoffman Estates location where I worked with multiple trainers including Jesse. I fell in love with the pre-organized, time efficient workouts, the 1:1 training, customized programs, family feel and most importantly NO class times! When that location closed, I joined a “big box gym” and lost almost all of the progress I had gained. When I found out Jesse was opening a location in S. Elgin, it was a no brainer to return “home”. Jesse is great at keeping me motivated during the workouts. I’m 56 years old and I was a bit nervous about starting a new workout regimen. It’s been two weeks and my upper body feels stronger than it has it years. Great facility, great people and great workouts.

I’ve lived in st Charles most of my life, I’ve tried most if not all gyms, & HITT type establishments in the area. I never quite felt like I found my fit until Cross Kicks and met the trainer there, Jesse. He is a fabulous, professional, positive and take no excuses type of trainer. I see major value in what he and his establishment offer. The people are extremely nice that I’ve met here as well. I love this fitfam. I strongly encourage anyone who is fearful and reluctant to embark on their fitness journey to be skeptical if you’d like, and let CKF and Jesse lead you to the possibility that you can be that fit person, you can do things with your body you never thought and you can push yourself mentally harder than you knew you could in the gym.

The workouts at CrossKicks are AMAZING!! Jesse puts all his heart and knowledge into the experience! The gym is set up circuit style and each day is a different set of moves! The combo of lifting and cardio and boxing is something I have never gotten at another gym before! 💜 You'll leave sweaty and wake up sore and headed back for more!

You will not find a better place to work out. I have tried working out on my own after the cross kicks experience and I did not know what to do with myself! Cross kicks takes all the guess work out of what needs to be done. The fact that there are no class times and no reservations necessary will also remove all excuses you can make for yourself to try to skip the gym! If you try cross kicks you will be hooked for sure!

If I could give Cross Kicks Fitness in South Elgin 10 stars I would! Great facility that gets to the point! Cannot say enough good things about working out here. Friendly and MOTIVATING staff, concise workout experience that focuses on everything the body needs. Great community of people that are in it to improve not only themselves but those around them as well. Check this place out for sure!
