Completely disgusted. Trekked through a snowstorm to go to a session. I get there at 1:31 and the person on the phone is rudely saying they closed the door after ONE minute. IN A LITERAL SNOW STORM?!?!? Of course that makes no sense. I did my best to just hang up and not argue with the disrespectful woman whoโs supposed to be managing customer support. To anyone trying support this business. Go somewhere else a place dedicated to wellness with consideration.

This family owned studio feels like a second home for all their members! My partner happened upon it and I joined for their 2 week unlimited pass, because the price was incredible compared to the bigger studios in the area. After my first class I knew this would be the only place Iโd be going for my practice. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and care about all of their students. I absolutely love coming Saturday morning for Slow Flow with Peggy, she has a warm personality and encourages everyone to try new poses without pushing them past their limits. Iโd recommend this studio for everyone from novices to masters of yoga!

I am incredibly disappointed with the way the staff handled an issue regarding their own policy and the lack of respect in which I was talked to by one of the instructors of this facility. I was locked out from my class yesterday when I arrived exactly at the start time. The policy on the door (pictured below w/ timestamp taken 6 minutes after I had arrived and waited outside the door following the directions on the sheet) states that you will be let into class up to 10 minutes after the start time, I rang the buzzer, called the studio multiple times and knocked on the door and was left completely locked out where I waited for over 25 min and eventually went home after paying for parking. I called later in the day and left a voicemail to sort it out and then I arrived early to class today to speak with someone about the issue after leaving a few unreturned voicemails.
When I got there I signed into my class for today and requested to speak to someone who could help me, the girl at the desk stated that she couldn't do anything and that her boss was busy, and could talk to me after class. So I went and took my class, after I was told once again by the girl at the front desk that there was nothing she could do and her boss said the same thing and was still busy. Eventually after waiting 10 minutes after the end of the class Eboni, who I later found out is an owner of the company came and talked to me. Her and I discussed the issue calmly at first but then she started aggressively telling me things that contradicted the policy printed on the door, and was asking me what sign was I talking about telling me to โshow her the signโ (clearly she had taken it down so I would go point to it and look stupid when it wasn't there but I had a picture of it from yesterday) as soon as I pulled out the time stamped picture on my phone she began yelling over me, not letting me finish my sentence and closing the door on customers who were coming inside. I was completely utterly floored, I really can not believe that a self proclaimed โyogiโ would raise their voice so aggressively, and as that business owner she would completely disrespect my issue and take me out of the relaxed state I was in from taking the class. It was completely unprofessional and she continued to talk over me basically saying that their policies are circumstantial and it was my fault because I was late (which within in their policy I was not) and that she would not do anything for me. It showed a lot that she turned her back on her own written policies as a business owner to gouge money for a service that wasn't provided. I am truly disappointed because I really did enjoy this studio but I can not fathom how both a Yogi/Business owner could unravel so cruelly.
Update: The owner choosing to address this reveiw 4 years later and falsely claim that they reached out to me directly is absolutely ridiculous. I have receipts and to try and discredit them by calling it a "personal time piece" is truly insulting and reminds me i made a way better decision never going back and attending other local studios. Please give nearby places like Zen yoga garage and Ritual yoga your business instead of these image obsessed fools who cant deal with their name being criticized for the truth. .

This place freaking rocks!
Long story short, Iโm a triathlete who has never been able to touch my toes ๐ I wanted to start doing yoga to help me recover faster, perform better, and reduce injury risk. That has totally happened. I go here twice a week now, itโs so peaceful and great quality instruction. Some teachers are more my style than others, but that is every yoga studio.
The price and value is great, my practice is only in its infancy but Iโm excited to keep with it. Give this place a shot, you wonโt regret it!

This is the best yoga studio in Chicago - the classes are wonderful, challenging, peaceful, and motivating. Eb, Joey, and all of the instructors are so kind, knowledgeable, gentle, and graceful. They provide a warm and welcoming environment that is super inclusive. I look forward to coming each week - this studio has been a saving grace in what has been a very challenging time in my life. Thank you Eb and team for all you do!

Went there a year ago. The instructor was pretty rude, sadly. I didn't want my friend to hurt themselves, so I told them to be careful. The instructor rushed over and told me that there was only room for 1 instructor in class....I dont have much experience with yoga either. I just didn't want my friend to hurt themselves. Definitely made me feel bad and wasn't very zen.

Eb & Flow is my go-to yoga studio. I've been practicing here for over 2 years now, and I am so grateful for the owners, Peggy and Eboni, as well as every single one of their teachers. Regardless of the class you choose to attend, you are in amazing hands.
This studio is very inclusive, professional, and so kind. They embody the full spectrum of what yoga is-- not just the physical activity aspect.
If you've been waiting to come to a class, don't wait any longer-- you're sure to be welcomed here.

Eb and Flow Yoga Studio made my bachelorette dreams come true! The owner Eb was wonderful to work with - we were able to schedule a private yoga class for myself and 9 friends at our air bnb. Even even made sure to coordinate mats for everyone, which made it so much easier. Our instructor Claire was awesome and guided us through a relaxing slow flow while enjoying the Chicago skyline. Thanks for everything!!

This is a really nice little yoga studio. I signed up for the 14-day, $25 trial and thus far the MODERATE-pace classes have been really awesome workouts and without music I really focus on my breath. The instructors take extra care talking you into the poses so you really don't even notice there isn't music. They warm the room to about 90 degrees so that's great, too. Highly recommend!

one of my favorite studios in the city. there are different offerings like Yin, power flow with music, vinyasa without music, and itโs an incredibly welcoming and empowering space. Eboni offers really helpful hands-on assists as well as the space to opt out of them if preferred. it has definitely deepened my appreciation of yoga and different teaching styles.

I'm so grateful for Eb and Flo studio. I jump out of bed everyday for virtual yoga classes. This studio has been a shining light during these crazy times. The instructors are professional and always prepared. With little notice they were able to accommodate my elderly parents by incorporating chair yoga poses during a class. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

During COVID I had the pleasure of coming across this studio. I highly recommend them! Black owned, professional, educational, and responsive. Every teacher has their style and offers a truly unique experience. I appreciated learning about the interplay between connecting body and breathe. As well as releasing stress through yin yoga. Check them out!

I used to be one of those folk who hated yoga. I tried at home yoga, I tried youtube yoga, I tried yoga with friends and a few different studios - all with the same outcome. Nope - this is not for me. Then I spoke to a friend (who happens to be a yoga instructor) and told them why I disliked yoga so much. They listened to me and suggested I try yin yoga at a slow or restful pace. So I said fine, did some research, and found Eb&Flow.
Well dear reader, Miss Peggy and Claire have done the impossible and have converted me into someone who now practices several times a week! Be it in their amazing new studio space (the floor is so squishy!) or virtually from home - Eb&Flow helps keep me calm and centered. Every yogi I have practiced with at Eb&Flow have always made me feel welcomed and offered modifications when I needed some extra help. I am a 1 year (with many, many more years to go) survivor of stage 3 colon cancer and shortly after finishing my chemotherapy is when Eb&Flow came into my life. Unbeknownst to them - they have been a huge part of my recovery - both physically and mentally and for that I will forever be thankful.
Oh, did I mention that during candlelight yin with Miss Peggy she plays for us flutes and singing bowls?! Game changer.

This studio provides everything you could want in an overall yoga studio and community! Iโve been practicing here for over 6 months and have been impressed with the quality of the instructors/classes and the ability to create a yoga community (in-person and virtually). If you want to be a part of a yoga community with a broad range of customizable classes and where the owners/instructors know who you are, this is the place to go. Canโt say enough good things!

I love Eb & Flow! I've been going to this studio since I moved to Chicago in 2014. All of their classes are varied in terms of styles of yoga and intensity, and their schedule works for me both when I've had a 9-5 or working part time. All the instructors are skilled, friendly, and helpful whether you are a new or advanced student. I've brought probably a dozen friends over the years to the studio and many of them have become members. If you don't go to Eb & Flow, you're missing out.

Not only does Eb & Flow offer awesome classes at lots of different levels, and offer them regularly, but this studio is a *real* community. Eboni and Peggy and the rest of the staff treat everyone like family; the students are friendly and welcoming, and the instructors are top notch. And they are affordable, compared to other studios in the city - and a black-woman owned business, to boot. Highly recommend!!!
