Edge couldn't have curated a better training experience to prepare for the Chicago Marathon. This was my first time training for a marathon and running with a running group.
The training schedules, accessibility to coaches, trainers, strength classes and podcasts, plus their entire community truly enhanced my performance and confidence going into the marathon. Edge's run club camaraderie is unmatched; supportive, realistic, and positive. My first marathon experience would've been completely different without their preparation, wisdom, and encouragement.
I'd highly recommend the run club at Edge to anyone looking for an intelligent training plan with a stellar group of people.

Since joining Edge, I have PR'd in so many races and moved on from only running to now triathlons. Their tri-club has been amazing with motivating me in this new sport and using their 1:1 coaching. My coach, Jannette Rho, has been an incredible support in helping me get started in triathlons last year to me now getting ready to complete my first full Ironman. I went from swimming a little and knowing nothing about bikes (aero bars & clip in what?!) to now completing 2 half Ironman's and feeling super confident for my full IM coming up. I feel stronger than I ever have and all because of Edge and the coaches.

If you're looking for a run club in Chicago, look no further! EDGE is a fantastic community of runners at truly every pace. When you sign up for run club at EDGE, you get a super organized run plan and pacing chart to help you meet your goals. In the summer, run club meets twice a week for team runs. Run plans usually target Chicago Marathon, F^3, and the BoA Chicago 13.1, but the weeks can easily be pushed forward or back to target a different race. It's common for athletes running Berlin, NYC, etc. to be running workouts that are a few weeks ahead or behind their Chicago peers all summer long, but we all still show up in person for the vibes.
I particularly love that this is NOT a militaristic 2-by-2 run-the-same-pace-all-summer set up. This run club is a lot more intuitive and free-flowing--coaches emphasize prioritizing effort (especially when heat training), and runners will often start the summer running with one pace group but wind up in another by the end of the summer because they've gotten so much stronger and faster. On long runs, folx flow in and out of groups smoothly as they need to-pushing ahead or falling behind into other groups and seamlessly joining in whatever conversation the others are having.
Also in the summer most groups pause mid-run to jump into the lake which is the most. fun. ever.
Coaches rotate who's leading the bi-weekly runs, so you're getting fresh perspective and coaching tips on a regular basis from coaches with a variety of backgrounds.
Not to mention, the community of fellow runners are a wealth of helpful tips and tricks! I've learned so much since joining EDGE, whether it was from the free podcast (Coach Quip), the coaches, or from posing questions to the extremely active group chats (someone is always available to weigh in on the Garmin vs Coros debate). It's a place where you will be welcomed with open arms and grow exponentially.

I highly recommend EDGE Tri Club and Run Club! Joining both was one of the best decisions I made as a first-time triathlete training for my 70.3. As someone just starting out, I was looking for some direction and support to help me train the right way—and EDGE gave me all that, plus an awesome, supportive community to train with. The run club offered structured track workouts and long runs that kept me consistent and motivated. EDGE challenged me in the best way, and I’m excited to keep pushing toward new goals with them!

EDGE has been a huge part of my life since joining the Spring Half Marathon training program in 2024. Shortly there after I noticed the benefits of all that EDGE has to offer and joined as a full member, and trained with the group to run the Chicago Marathon in 2024. Following that marathon training cycle, I knew that there was more in me, and enhanced my membership by adding 1:1 coaching with EDGE's Coach Chris. Through my work with Coach Chris, I have trained for two more marathons - London & Berlin, and it has been worth every penny! Through this accountability I have been able to get faster, shaving off nearly an hour of my marathon time over the last year. I say that Coach Chris believes in me more than I believe in myself sometimes - and the workouts prescribed for me have held me accountable and have helped take me to the next level. I'm excited to continue working with Coach Chris (and my entire EDGE community) to crush more goals in 2026!

Such an amazing run club! The community is incredibly welcoming and supportive—whether you’re new to running or have years of experience, you’ll feel right at home. The coaches are highly knowledgeable about endurance training and always approachable for questions. Workouts strike the perfect balance: challenging enough to push you, but never overwhelming. I feel stronger and more confident going into races, and the training makes the whole experience so much more fun. Couldn’t ask for a better group to train with!

Love running with Edge! The training plans do all the hard thinking, and the right-sized (not too big, not too small) group keeps me accountable and on track. Even when I run solo, I see other folks from Edge and that keeps me going through hard workouts. The folks are super friendly and welcoming ... and committed while keeping it fun. PRs are a nice bonus.

Joining EDGE was one of the best decisions I've made. After joining in early 2022, I quickly became hooked and loved all aspects of their offerings. The facilities are top knotch and classes and coaches are amazing. During the first year, I set PRs in distances from 10K to the marathon. I also decided to use their personal coaching option. Having Dan as my run coach has helped me tremendously. His approach is great and he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to approaching training. His guidance has helped me tackle new challenges and helped navigate me back to running post knee surgery. Having a run coach meant I was more accountable and really helped me lean into my training. EDGE is the place to go if you want to level up your training!

EDGE has been such an integral part of marathon training! The gym and classes are fantastic, they have helped me build a routine and consistency with strength. I have also had the pleasure of having Patti as my coach - Patti has constructed thoughtful training that is tailored to me and has been such a positive presence during training!

I have been an Edge member for approximately 5 years now. The camaraderie, the fitness/health challenges, the classes and the coaches have catapulted my fitness journey to a whole other level. I've reached PRs that I never thought were possible all because of Edge. More specifically, the coaches are phenomenal and have given me the tools and support to grind hard and believe in myself. Just this year, working with Coach Chris, I have gained a significant amount of muscle while marathon training, which usually is a difficult task. But he put together a detailed training plan with just the right amount of cardio and strength training that my body has been responding well to. I've also had the pleasure of working with Coach Shawna who also pushed me to some crazy PRs! I would highly recommend Edge to anyone looking to reach new fitness heights, make new friends, challenge themselves, and be inspired!

I've been to countless gyms and fitness centers in Chicago, but nothing compares to the experience at EDGE Athlete Lounge. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and passion that drives this place. It's more than just a gym—it's a community of athletes, from beginners to seasoned vets, all working together to achieve their goals.
I'm fortunate enough to be on the coaching staff at EDGE and over the 6+ years I've been a part of the team, I've had the opportunity to not only see our community strengthen but also see the countless ways members show up for one another. I feel lucky to be a part of a team with so many incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely invested coaches who tailor workouts to meet a range of needs and also ensure that you're pushing yourself safely and effectively.
The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a great workout. All of the equipment is current, with enough for everyone while keeping a small gym vibe. The Woodway treadmills are the same as those at the Olympic Training Center, the bike room allows riders to use their own bicycle and ride the same elevation profiles as courses around the world, and the strength room has multiple squat racks, benches, free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, bands... you name it. Whether you're into strength training, endurance sports, or just looking to improve your overall fitness, EDGE has you covered.
What sets EDGE apart, though, is the holistic approach to fitness by way of the recovery options, including an ice bath and hot tub for contrast treatment, compression therapy, laser therapy, and more - not to mention Pugcovery (the owner has 3 pugs, making EDGE the perfect place for dog lovers and for those who wish they had a dog but don't want to actually have a dog!). This focus on recovery has been a game-changer for me, especially after tough workouts. It's clear that EDGE understands that recovery is just as important as the workout itself.
The atmosphere at EDGE Athlete Lounge is incredibly welcoming and motivating and is what has kept me here so long. The staff and members alike are supportive and encouraging, making it easy to stay committed to your fitness journey. There is community for new moms and parents, LGBTQ+ members, runners/cyclists/triathletes, and athletes of any experience level (even if you wouldn't consider yourself an "athlete" we believe you are!). You can show up exactly as you are and not need to pretend to be anything else; this is a no BS gym where the first timer is on the same level as someone with 10+ years of workouts under their belts.
Plus, the community events like cheer stations and volunteering at a local nursing home are a great way to stay engaged and be a part of giving back. Community is always at the core of everything for EDGE.
If you're looking for a place that offers more than just a workout, EDGE Athlete Lounge is where you need to be. It's a place that truly cares about your success, both inside and outside the gym. I can't recommend it enough! Come in for a free trial to see if it's a good fit and if you see me, please say hi!

I joined edge 2 years ago, I wanted to start a healthier life style which meant taking a chance on myself. the minute I walked into edge I felt so welcomed and I’m one who doesnt like to try new places because I get intimidated fast. not the case here, since joining I have made long lasting friendships and have discovered a new side I didn’t know I had. Not only did I ran my first 50k but now I’m training for my first 70.3 triathlon. Everyone is so Inspiring that it’s hard not wanting to try it yourself. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for edge and I am so thankful for everyone. If you ever questioned stepping inside let me tell you this is your sign because you will not regret it.

From the outside, Edge Athlete Lounge might be a little confusing -- is it a gym or what? Having worked out at edge, yes, it is a gym. But it's focus on endurance athletes and getting them together in community and to do ALL the things that help you be a better athlete, like mobility work, and recovery mean it's not like some of the other gyms in the city.

Years ago when I was about to join Edge, I read all of the glowing reviews and thought “no way can a place be this good.”
Well, it is.
In the years since I’ve joined, not only have I gotten into the best shape of my life but I’ve also accomplished things I never thought would be possible while finding a supportive community of like minded people. This place has changed my life in so many ways, all positive.
It can feel intimidating coming to a strength class or group run but all paces and experience levels are truly welcome. As long as you show up willing to give your best you will thrive!

I joined Edge 2 months ago and already love this place! It's well rounded in terms of what you're looking to do. It includes strength training classes, infinity cycling, tri club, and run club. I especially love the recovery lounge, which I don't see many gyms offer, at a good price. The recovery lounge includes cold and hot tubs, compression boots, and other recovery equipment, which is all key for recovering quickly so you can bounce back straight into your training feeling 100%.
Lastly, Edge is a community and that is my favorite part. It's a place where I stay motivated and get to train with others. I have some big goals for the year and I am confident Edge will help me hit those goals. I've heard nothing but good things about the coaches helping their athletes hit their goals (as long as you stay committed to the process). 100% highly recommend! Oh yeah, PUGS are included.

I recently had the pleasure of joining Edge Athlete Lounge in Chicago, and I have to say, it's one of the best gym experiences I've had in a long time. The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need to get in a great workout. But what really sets this gym apart is the people.
The owners have done an incredible job of building a community of athletes that are not only hardworking and dedicated, but also incredibly welcoming to all levels. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced athlete, you'll feel right at home at Edge.
The coaches are some of the best I've ever worked with. They're knowledgeable, motivating, and truly care about helping you reach your fitness goals. And the community of athletes is just as inspiring. Everyone is focused on getting better and improving themselves, which creates an atmosphere of positivity and support that is truly rare.

Edge is, by far, the best gym in Chicago that I've joined --- and that includes Equinox and the East Bank Club. The members are down to earth, truly dedicated to fitness, and most importantly support one another. There's a real community at Edge. The classes are fantastic and will work you hard. The trainers are even more fantastic and encourage you to work hard. And everyone roots for you to bring out your best. The sweat bond is real and ice baths aren't that bad (eventually). I've been going to Edge Athlete Lounge for almost three years now. Despite a background in soccer I have never really been a gym type of person. But Edge is not your typical gym experience. It feels more like you've joined a new family. There is no judgement - only encouragement. This is not a jock gym. It is a fitness resource and one I have personally taken extensive advantage of. There are a variety of offerings for elite athletes (particularly runners and cyclists) but also for people like me who are simply trying to stay healthy. My experience is mostly related to strength/cardio classes, hot/cold tubs, and enjoying the company of pugs and smoothies while wearing compression boots and working on my laptop post workout (the lounge part of the name is definitely worth taking advantage of). The community at Edge has become a huge part of keeping me accountable as far as my own health and fitness. I would be a much less healthy person in both mind and body without it.

I have been a member of Edge Athlete Lounge for over 6 months, and a run club participant for over a year. Never in my life have I connected with sports or athletic pursuits until Edge. This is a place where anyone, no matter skill or experience, will be welcomed and find kind, enthusiastic people. The Edge leadership does an impressive job at making sure to follow COVID-19 guidelines and make everyone feel safe, including options for virtual live classes, recordings of live classes, outdoor in-person workouts, limiting capacity, tons of sanitizing and air filtration, and more. Coaches are inclusive and encouraging and provide lots of modifications for any skill level or injury, as well as do monthly challenges and recurring class themes to keep athletes engaged. This is a place that puts the members' wellbeing first, and I so much appreciate that. Plus, they have great coffee, tea, and smoothies and lots of pugs.

- they will help you figure out how to get results

EDGE programming is focused and in 100 days, I've seen improvement in my endurance, performance, and overall fitness. Edge is such a welcoming community and great place to tackle any of your fitness goals! There is motivation everywhere you look, from the people, to the coaches, sayings on the wall and inspirational messages written on your smoothies, while you recover you are reminded of your WHY. The virtual and in-person group classes kept me going during quarantine and the owners are continuing to make edge a safe environment continually as more data comes out. It is a great place to be in 2020 and beyond!

Edge is great for me! Their Kickr bike trainers are the best trainers I have used anywhere. They allows you to ride courses and classes taught by their great instructors. I have used other trainers before, but its so nice not to have to use a training tire! I love the Woodway treadmills. They feel like you are running outside, all but eliminating the drag that you get from normal belted treadmills. They make my speed workouts with Robyn, the owner, even better. Finally, the ice bath, hot tub, and boots are fabulous. But the place rocks not because of the recovery features but the vib. The big comfy chairs are so nice to sit back and snooze after a hard workout. No cheap lazy boys or folding chairs. Oh yea, the free coffee and great food and shakes are perfect to sit back and chill! Great place, great people.

I first started attending Edge because I live close and as a working mom, I needed those 5:30 a.m. HIIT classes where I could get in, out, and home all in one hour. The perks of a small gym are that you don't have to waste time with parking, check-in, etc. - you pull into the garage and are in class within 5 minutes.
I stay at Edge because it really is a community where all people are welcome regardless of where you may be in your running/biking/tri-ing or you just want to get fit. The coaches know everyone by name and are genuinely there for you. During this covid time, they have made sure everyone has what they need to continue working out and staying fit and healthy because they genuinely care.
If you have the opportunity, you should definitely check out Edge!

You may be thinking that all the reviews/commentary about EDGE can’t be true...but they are!! I was skeptical (and intimidated) but haven’t looked back since participating in a “fun run” and joining their Winter Half Marathon training program. At the time I was new to Chicago but quickly found a home and community at EDGE.
Robyn and Brian put a lot of time/effort into building EDGE, so it’s a unique place. The classes and programming are centered around the athlete, whether you’re getting back to working out or a seasoned endurance athlete. Their thoughtfulness about the community was evident before the pandemic but it really shined during lockdown and through the City’s reopening.

Edge is a rare bird when it comes to gyms. Robyn and Brian go out of their way to get to know each and every member and make them feel special. The coaches do the same. It is a place where personal progress is encouraged and celebrated. I have been a member for several months now (and during the MOST challenging time) and I can say with full confidence that I've never been so motivated or so happy to take the classes. In addition, their in person service is excellent. The gym is clean and friendly with a ton of recovery tools. It really is a special place.

I absolutely love this place, and it's become a major part of my life and routine. I go here to grind, to sweat, to recover and embrace my inner athlete. I go here to do that around an inclusive community of athletes in every shape and size, with the common pursuit of accomplishing any goal in front of them - inspiring me to achieve more than I ever thought I could. I love their diverse set of group programming (have personally participated and had major success in the 6 week weight loss challenge, and both marathon and triathlon group training plans) and what feels like an endless supply of group fitness classes (bootcamp style high HR strength, recovery yoga, core/legs/arm/butt specific workouts, etc). On top of that, they've got some of the best coaches in the business, an incredible suite of recovery tools that I personally crave after big workouts, and a variety in house partners in Chiropractic, PT and massage therapy for any extra work or recovery I ever need. And then free Intelligencia coffee for members?! Yes please, nothing like a hard morning workout, recovery and a hot cup of awesome coffee! Edge is everything I could ever want from a fitness center, and the care their owners put into the space, the tools, the programming, and the community of athletes is unmatched.

I joined a 6 week challenge for better health and stayed because they invested in me.
They don't see you as $$, they truly invest in you. They want to understand your why for being there and bring it out.
The coaches are ridiculously amazing! When you think they are not paying attention, they hit you with details about improvements you've made that you don't realize.

I could not be happier about being a member of Edge Athlete Lounge! After the holidays this past year, I felt unhealthy and lethargic. A friend referred me to Robyn (the co-owner) at Edge Athlete Lounge and I decided to join Edge's 6-Week Challenge to get back into shape. The Challenge came with a nutrition guide and required me to attend three EWOD classes (i.e., HIIT classes) a week. I broke my leg seven years ago and have osteoarthritis, so during the classes, the coaches demonstrated modifications for anything I was unable to do due to pain. I also had a coach to provide me with moral support during the process! After seeing great results, getting back into shape, and feeling healthier, I decided to join Edge as a member.
The owners (Robyn and Brian) and the coaches who teach the classes feel like family. I know most (if not all) the coaches by name and feel like they genuinely care about your goals, whether your goal is to simply get in shape or run a marathon! Love these people and this gym :)

I can’t speak more highly about Edge Athlete Lounge. It caters to all athletes in training and recovery. I have been a member for 6 years, I am an avid athlete that lives to train. In all the years I’ve trained I have never had a place that I could train and recover! You have access to recovery tools like compression boots, lasers, STEM, hot/cold tubes, etc....On top of that Edge provides a wide variety of training classes (virtual and onsite). The Edge family is very welcoming and provide a strong support through one’s journey. I highly recommend.

I have been with the Edge community for over 4 years. The people there are amazingly supportive and welcoming, whether you are new to exercise, looking to achieve a goal in your respective sport, or wanting to stretch outside of your comfort zone and reach for something you never thought possible. The owners, Robyn and Brian, have cultivated a space for people to challenge each other, all while striving to be the best versions of themselves as possible. If you are looking for a gym, you are guaranteed to find much more than that here. The staff, coaches, and other members will give you more support than you could ever ask for. If you're looking for your new safe space to get active and find a new sense of normal, I highly encourage you to stop in and experience it for yourself!

I started with Edge on a 6 week plan for a healthier life. Not only did I loose weight, but I gained so much knowledge on health in general. From being able to gain muscle to knowing what you should be eating and chosing to change bad habits for a better you. The first HIIT class was beyond hard and even after a few weeks I could have never imagined I would finally one day make it through class without feeling like I couldn't breathe. Next thing you know I started running (I was highly allergic to unless an ice cream truck was involved). It has been 11 months now with them, and let me tell you that my life has really changed for the best. I have continued to loose weight, helped loved ones with all this knowledge, have learnes to push myself physically, built endurance, and gained more confidence. It's not GYM it's a community built to support you. It feels great when the instructors know your name or when the owners wish you a happy birthday, or when they ask you when is your next race, or send you a personalized card. They make the painful work outs FUN. What is there NOT to like about Edge and they have PUGS!!!!!!

But what I found was deeply engaged ownership, coaches, trainers, and staff. A year and a half ago I came to the realization that I needed more than just a gym to help me get back to being the competitive athlete I once was. And I am so lucky to have found Edge. My coaches not only challenged me, but they invested in me. And it was their personal care and attention as a whole that has made all the difference in my losing the pounds and gaining all the strength.
The surprising part was discovering that there was a true community at Edge. The people who go to Edge aren't just members, they are supporters and many can be like family. Being at Edge means being better, in and out. It’s a peaceful and comforting space and the pugs are a big bonus.

I’ve been a member at edge for about a year, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made—Robyn & Brian, the coaches, and the other athletes push and encourage you to be your best self, both in sport and in the rest of your life. The classes are varied and great, and the recovery tools really make such a difference in training—I’ve certainly noticed their absence during shelter-in-place!
Robyn & Brian have taken so many precautions to make returning to Edge as safe as possible—social distancing, temp checks, disinfecting procedures, upgraded ventilation system, they’ve done it all. I feel way safer at Edge than most reopened businesses I’ve been in.
Come for the classes & recovery, stay for the community (and the pugs!!).

I got to know this place from Instagram. I saw the ad for free 6week body transformation challenge and got an appointment with one of the member in the club. Now there's a deposit if $600 which you'll get back after completing the challenge successfully. I knew that this is something that I do and change my lifestyle to a healthy one. The challenge will offer all the necessary information for the whole 6 weeks for exercise and daily nutrition that is portion based which covers protein, carbs and fat.
I am a different scenario since I spent almost 5 weeks outside the states where my options for nutrition was very limited which encouraged me to go out of the way and find myself the required items. I had remote coaching and I can reach out to my accountability coach anytime I want and he's always ready to help.
For my final week I was in the lounge and working out with all the people with the same goal was really exciting and it was great. Everyone was very friendly and the drinks that they have are amazing.
This has been a game changing event in my life in that I have learned a lot. I have taught my friends about the necessary changes to be done to get fit and eat clean, thanks to more input from EDGE
Many people whom I've seen after the 5 week were amazed at my change and said I looked like a school kid, all fit and energetic. I think that sums it up.
In a nutshell, great place where you'll have a community of people with a greater goal while working with everyone to achieve the goal together.

At the beginning of August I made a decision that would change my life. I took on the Edge Athlete Lounge 6 week challenge (loose 6%body fat in 6 weeks). This is probably the hardest thing I have done physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve struggled for a long time with my confidence due to my physique. I was unhappy with my body and always avoided taking pictures because I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin. I heard about the challenge and without thinking twice I decided to sign up. I knew then that I needed someone to hold me accountable because going to the gym by my self wasn’t cutting it. The 6week challenge was one of the hardest but best experience of my life. For 41 days I learned that I DO HAVE THE WILL POWER to stick to a diet, say no, go to my workouts and drink a whole gallon of water a day! Best of all, I have learned that I AM STRONG ENOUGH to continue my journey , have confidence and finally be comfortable in my own skin!!

I don’t know where to start... EDGE has become my happy-place in the midst of injuries and surgery recovery. And the mental/stress recovery being in such a supportive and encouraging environment has been just as critical in the healing process.
After months off of running and feeling fairly overwhelmed with the task of regaining fitness and starting a new training schedule- I signed up for their 6 week challenge... which very much lives up to its description. EDGE is not your typical gym. It’s more of a clubhouse for athletes - and athletes of all levels. It doesn’t matter if you just come to classes from time to time or run ultramarathons, you feel as though you matter.
The strength classes are my favorite - super small class size paired with knowledgeable coaches who will kick your butt (with kindness.) Even though the classes are 30-45 mins, you will feel it and see results. I promise.
The cycling ‘pain cave’ is small, but very nice and not lit with fluorescent lights. Actually all the spaces of EDGE don’t look like a normal gym. It’s defiantly a safe space for people who don’t like the “typical gym vibe.”
Recovery and café services are top notch. It’s defiantly worth getting a day pass after an event to sip a latte while reclining on a leather chair in some recovery boots.
Oh, and there are pugs there!

Edge is an amazing facility and community for anyone who likes to work out hard or instructors of any sort! Their recovery technologies truly work. Between ice baths, hot tubs, compression boots and electric stim (and more) they have it all to help you recover faster so you can get after it hard sooner. My recovery time has significantly decreased since I started using their recovery tools and I'm there almost daily. They have great treadmills and and bike trainers and a large weight room. it's nice to be able to get a full body workout in and recover all in one place. If any of this sounds intimidating -? Their staff is super friendly and helpful with all their technology.

I discovered Edge Athlete Lounge a few years ago through the insistence of my friends in the Chicago running community. Since then, Edge has been an indispensable part of my training routine and identity as an athlete. Cutting-edge recovery technology combined with an old-school service ethos, Edge reaches the Holy Grail of the modern-day service economy. A veritable third space, Edge’s warm and cozy ambiance feels less like a clinic and more like an urban ski lodge for endurance athletes. It’s a place where you can pop in for a quick visit or lounge around all day working and socializing. A current of friendly egalitarianism runs through Edge, as athletes of all levels are welcome, from weekend fun-runners all the way to Olympians. Even if you’re only slightly curious, do yourself a favor and book a session at Edge.

I really can't say enough good things about Edge. The ice baths and THE BOOTS have kept my fifty-year-old legs fresh and ready all Ironman season and I look forward to quicker and healthier recovery while training for my first ultra. Robyn and Brian have created the most cheerful, supportive and encouraging community. This is so much more than a gym or an athlete lounge. I'm grateful to be a part of it all.

EDGE is AMAZING! I am training for the Chicago Marathon and I went to EDGE on a Friday because my body was starting to hit a wall.. everything was achey! I used the contrast therapy -- the cold tub is not THAT BAD.. I did 8 minutes cold, 8 hot, and finished with 4 minutes cold and I survived. Then I snuggled up on a chair with the compression boots and took an hour nap, I was in heaven!
All of the employees are extremely welcoming and helpful -- even offered me a blanket for my snooze! After my 2 hour stay my entire body felt 100% better and I was incredibly relaxed! I will definitely be coming back !

Robyn & Brian have created a stellar facility at Edge. Train/recover/yoga/advice/coffee, they do it all! It's also conveniently located at the end of the 606, easy to access by bike or on foot.
I used the facilities before I competed at the Irish National Cycling Championship. Robyn advised me on how to recover from the long flight while I was there. Vital info that helped me to feel fresh and strong before the big race. Thanks guys!

I was introduced to Edge by a friend whom I was training for my first marathon with. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was at home. The entire place is cozy, yes, even the ice bath. The staff are knowledgeable, and friendly. They are athletes themselves, so they know how important recovery is, and are able to answer any questions you might have. The salads and sandwiches are amazing. They have a full coffee/smoothie bar - you wont go hungry after your workout here! Also, they have two pugs that will give you recovery cuddles if you want them.

EDGE is an amazing post-run oasis to recover, repair and re-energize. The atmosphere is warm and the friendly staff treats you like family. My legs needed some TLC after my marathon and I spent a significant amount of time in the lounge enjoying a recovery boot massage, good company and some love from the adorable pups. I'd go every day if I could and I recommend EDGE to my running buddies - they have a treatment for anything that ails your active body. Thanks, Robyn and Brian!

I don't know how I would have completed my first Marathon if it wasn't for the EDGE. My wife bought me a 4 month membership for my birthday since she knew that I would train hard and I might be prone to injury. I finished the Marathon in my anticipated time and I had a very short recovery. Thank you Robyn and Brian for all you encouragement.

If you a serious athlete, you must come to EDGE. I am an endurance athlete who reached a plateau in my performance, part of which stemmed from poor pre- and post-recovery. Since I've joined as a member, I've been able to remain injury-free and have fresh legs, making subsequent workouts effective. I began using only the recovery boots, but now I use the cold and hot tubs, recovery boots, stim, and pugs (Bruce and June). It is an inviting atmosphere and the owners and members are like family to me. I cannot imagine training without the services and good people at EDGE.

EDGE is a great place to take your athletic training to the next level! Not only do they have indoor trainers & fancy treadmills, but they focus on recovery which is SO important for getting faster. Here's what I do and love when I'm there:
1. Foam roll if I just finished my workout.
2. Ice Bath -- it helps flush out the toxins
3. Get comfy on their chairs and with compression boots! Grab a coffee & a snack, sit back and relax!
4. Get back to training the next day and feel even more refreshed than ever!
I tried to stop by whenever I could during my training for Ironman Wisconsin. The owners and staff are friendly and are creating an awesome community!

I love Edge! It's a great, comfortable place to go push yourself outside of your comfort zones (on the bike) and then lounge like home in boots, enjoying a delicious smoothie or yummy snacks. Robyn and Brian (owners) can't be beat in terms of how encouraging and enthusiastic they are in their support of all their athletes. Great ancillary programming and delicious coffee too. Edge got me through the crappy winter sanity intact and fitness too!

Great place!!! Owners Robin and Brian make all clients feel at home. Amazing facility - you can workout (bike studio, treadmills), recover (hot and COLD tubs, compression boots, etc), shower, gossip and eat. What more could an athlete want?!?
