My daughter has been going here for three to four years and there has always been a communication problem with the staff. No one answer phones, there's gaps in who is covering what class and to top it off we finally found a coach that was willing to motivate and work with my daughter. Someone who cared to teach gymnastics instead of allowing the kids to run around like its a typical elementary school gym class. Without any type of communication the coach decided not to continue teaching the 5yr old class. No farewell from the coach on her last day, no call or email from the gym staff OR any kind of mention from the new coach who took over the class.

It is one thing for a child to have a problem listening because of their age and attention span, but it is a whole other thing for a child to run off to do their own thing and the coach doesn't try to draw them back. Allowing them to potentially injure themselves on equipment that is far too advanced for their age.

New management has taken over within the last year and there has been no changes other than the staff being 18yrs and above, and physical building changes/updates. They need coaches who will be more stern with the kids and make them follow directions. I have toughed it out for far too long at this facility. It's time for me to move my daughter somewhere else where she can grow as a gymnasts.

Big shout out to coach Bachi and coach Maria, Bachi is the reason my son is disciplined and a champion in gymnastics. And coach Maria did the same for my daughter in rhythmic gymnastics.
Great Facility great people from the coaches to the management. I totally recommend this place and I am hard to please.

Extremely unprofessional management. The new manager abruptly fired a beloved artistic coach in front of the children during practice, causing shock and confusion among the team. This coach was well-respected and cared for by both gymnasts and parents alike. Since then, the coaching staff has completely fallen apart, and all of the girls on the competitive artistic team have left the gym due to the poor leadership. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a great program unravel so quickly because of mismanagement.
Note that this review has nothing to do with coach Maria(who’s is fantastic) and her team.

My daughter started rhythmic gymnastics at Elite Sports Complex when she was 4 y.o. She is turning 8 this year and we are still enrolled in rhythmic. The head coach Ms. Maria was able to recognize my daughter’s potential at the very young age and she led my daughter to high achievements. The past season my daughter won Regional and other competitions. But more importantly my daughter loves coming to practice and she is enjoying the process itself. Rhythmic gymnastics team also has ballet classes few times a week. Our ballet teacher, Ms. Lena is also great. She is teaching our girls to show beautiful clean lines within the routines. It is very difficult to find such professional and experienced coaches as Ms. Maria and Ms. Lena. If you are looking for a beautiful and elegant sport for your daughter, Elite Sports Complex is the right place for you!

We’re super happy with Coach Maria - Elite Rythmic Gymnastics. My daughter has been practicing at Elite for the past five years, and we’ve seen so much growth thanks to her. Coach Maria has a solid track record — her girls do amazing at state and regional competitions, which says a lot, especially with over 60 gymnasts.
We’re especially proud of our daughter for winning gold at State and Regionals— it’s such an exciting moment and a reflection of all the hard work she’s put in.
You can really tell Coach Maria loves what she does. The effort she puts in shows every time the girls are at practice. They work hard, improve constantly, and the results speak for themselves. We’re lucky to have her!

parents often forget that gymnastics is a competitive sport—it teaches kids discipline, perseverance, focus, and how to handle both wins and setbacks with grace.
Both my kids are in gymnastics here with different coaches, and we love it! The coaching is fantastic, the teams are amazing, and the discipline has been great for them. Totally worth every penny—and it definitely beats having them on their phones all day!
Coach Maria is strict but fair, and honestly, her team showcases her talent every time they step on the podium—finishing in the top 5 out of 60–80 gymnasts in the region two years in a row!
And Coach Bachi? If you don’t love gymnastics with him, gymnastics just isn’t for you.

Updated on 04/12/2025: I'm glad to see that the general manager has taken this concern seriously and acted by splitting the class. With smaller group sizes, each athlete now has a better opportunity to fully engage, receive more attention, and enjoy their gymnastics experience. I truly hope this is not just a short-term fix, but a lasting improvement.
Original: No complaints to the coach. The capacity is increased to 10 kids per class this year, which limits each kid’s practice time. Also, I doubt if the coach can cover 10 kids and provide sufficient guide and protection, especially during the different skills practices sessions.

I do not recommend this place for gymnastics. Our daughter is 3 and has had two accidents in a span of 6 months of being in the 3 year old class. They said today that we have to put our daughter in a pull up to come to the class or she has to be moved to the you and me class. They do not understand potty training or how harmful shaming a child is for accidents.
Also, they have had unreasonable class sizes when coaches are in meetings instead of canceling the class.
The gym as a whole is disorganized as well. Half the time the coaches don’t know where they are going to start as other coaches utilize where they are going to start.
Spend your money else where.

We had our sons 5th birthday party here and we were so impressed! The price is so affordable (compared to most other places), you can bring your own decor and food, and the party instructors were fantastic! We had Casey and Jolene. They helped so much with setting up, serving snacks, and keeping the kids entertained. I barely had to do anything besides show up! Highly recommend!

Generally clean location, slightly outdated.

Biggest reason for my low rating is, while my younger daughter was allowed to take rhythmic gymnastics, her sister with motor apraxia was not. I volunteered to stay on the mat with her to keep her focused and on task but was told they currently don't do classes for children with special needs. In my humble opinion, that's discrimination. I know she may not be a "pro" but all she wants is to participate, be considered as being part of a team, and do something that her sister does. Rather than getting an employee to be on the mat, you downright refuse to let her participate. And that's pretty horrific. Any place that discriminates and refuses to work with parents and the special needs child is pretty horrific. Please consider your outdated policies and move forward with the times.

This complex is absolutely terrible considering the coaches, equipment, and other gymnasts.
My friend and I just wanted to have fun at their open gym. But, of course, it was the worst gym i have ever been to. I am not exaggerating when i say this. first off as soon as we got there we found the facility to look very “dirty”. So, it was hard to enjoy it from the start. Not to mention the place made me want to leave from the start. Then just as we were going into the trampolines, i repeat just to have fun, a coach came in to yell at us. He was not friendly at all and he told us off on the rules, which we did not know. I was there just to have fun and he told me that i did not have the ability to do a certain skill and said leave it to the professionals and pointed at my friend and then asked me if i had ever been on a trampoline before. Then we switch to the part of the gym. We were just practicing in the bars when he said we were not allowed to do that. Then after a while in that part of the gym we switched to the other part. And of course this coach wasn’t friendly either, she said that we were not allowed to land like that. How are supposed to control how we land when we are just learning something. Both coaches made us very uncomfortable and made us want to leave. Now the equipment. The equipment was absolutely terrible. It made me feel really unsafe. The trampoline springs were exposed which i had broken my foot before caused by the springs. The trampolines were ripping and we not stitched together. You had to wear socks on the trampolines because that was how bad of quality it was. On top of that, all of the equipment was very old and squeaky which i know because i came here for gymnastics when i was little. I joined the club for about two months and both my parents and myself thought it was a dump and just a horrible place for me to be learning gymnastics. It was the same dump that it was today. Which is why I know their equipment is very old. It was just absolutely terrible. And the mats were completely worn down meaning it hurt when you landed considering you don’t land on a softer surface. Finally the other gymnasts were absolutely terrible considering their attitude. For a person who hasn’t really practiced gymnastics since i was little and being a person just looking to have fun, it wasn’t a great experience for the little girls to be sassing you around and laughing at you. Not to mention mocking us. And every sport has an aspect of discipline. They were not disciplined. So in conclusion, I recommend that no child should be forced to come here.

The facility in the area near me are awful. The coaches are rude the other gymnasts are brats and the equipment need to be updated. My friend and I went to the open gym there a few days ago and we are never going back. That open gym was not worth $12. The trampolines feel like they are going to burst and whenever you do any trick on the floor it makes a loud boom when you land. One of the coaches insulted my friend telling her to leave it to the professionals and with a follow up question of have you ever been on a trampoline before. This is not what coaches are supposed to do they are supposed too help you with the trick and how to do it. There was this other coach that did help me with my backflip and his advises was very helpful. The other gymnasts there were all 8 year old rich brats. They were rude and impolite. If I had a child I would not let them be in that environment. Their open gyms are very late and over priced for the experience my friends and I had. This review is from a gymnast point of view and is just about the open gyms and just about the area near me.

We came back to this location after leaving Chicago and coming back 2 years later. Tried a couple of competitors closer to our house but they just weren't as good a fit for our son. People are friendly, parking is easy, location is in great proximity to the highway. Prices are reasonable - lots of programs to choose from for kids under 10.
