The floors are wet if the air isn’t on causing a build up of water on the floor. Ankle injuries galore. The head ref is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately the actual working refs are teenagers. They aren’t able to make accurate, consistent calls. Aiden was especially egregious…not suited for adult volleyball.

Our organization hosted a tournament at this facility and it was an amazing experience. The people were friendly and so accommodating. The food concession choices were plentiful and oh so good!

Read some of the reviews. This is the nicest VOlleyball Facility i have been too. Beautiful Building with Beautiful Courts. We did not have any issues with parking like some other people have had. Hope we have more tournaments here.

Energy Volleyball Club is outstanding! My daughter’s skills have soared thanks to their dedicated coaches who balance rigorous training with a fun, supportive atmosphere. The Energy Sports Complex in Bensonville is top-notch—clean, modern, and perfect for practices and tournaments. The staff is professional, and the community they’ve built is welcoming. Highly recommend Energy VBC for any young athlete passionate about volleyball!

Parking for tournaments is a disaster. They have remote parking by Public Works where smells really bad and you have to wait at least 25 minutes for shuttle bus

Tried the concessions for the first time here and it’s so good. I ordered mini donuts from the state fair…… and CHICKEN Fried rice. The food tasted amazing, but I would take the chicken away from the name because there wasn’t any of it. Also the State donuts gave me three so kind of a bad state… overall, the food is good and the games. came here for a volleyball tournament. I would recommend The fried rice not chicken Fried rice because there is none and I’d get the state donuts if you’re dying, but there’s better things out there.

Went to a club volleyball tournament here and was wowed away by how nice the facilities are! Very spacious, which is a plus because I feel volleyball tournaments are usually all smushed in. The staff was super friendly and there are plenty of options (healthy too) at the concessions. Normal club volleyball the players ref games along with playing. Some of the staff mentioned they did have parking figured out but then parking wars happened with another facility. Was told they’re working on building a bigger lot/garage.

0 Star Experience - We were the first set of matches on a Saturday and the night before were told the games would start an hour earlier. The first set of matches started 15 min late. You're not allowed to bring food in so you're forced to purchase super nutritious concession stand food for the athletes. Be prepared for your team to judge, keep score, etc. because apparently they don't pay people to referee. There's a surprise processing fee for debit/credit card transactions. The parking situation is horrible - one small lot and a BUS, not a shuttle, 10 min away. The matches were 1 hour behind schedule and our girls had to wait 2 hours in between their second and third match AND expected to referee. I don't recommend this place at all.

I went to support some friends for their first game. Parking is tough, but they had a few parking attendants in the lot trying to help. It was $10 per adult to get in. They had small bleachers set up and tables. Many people brought their own chairs.

My daughter has had many tournaments at their old facility and now the new one and yes sometimes the inside can get loud and all but it’s a tournament. Only thing I would really complain on is the parking it’s a bit crowded but they do keep mentioning that they are building some more. Hopefully new parking will be here by next season.

We had a great tournament here. Sure, they’re working on parking and I’m told that’ll improve soon- but I didn’t have any trouble getting a spot in the lot. I’ve never been to another venue with better food. Try the chicken kebab with tzatziki sauce! The kids loved the fried rice! The parents couldn’t stop talking about the refs and how personable they were. It really made the game more enjoyable. The facility is great. The bathrooms were obviously cleaned frequently. Everyone working was friendly. Courts were spaced well. It did not have the noise that domes usually do. The lighting was great for pictures!

First time attending a volleyball tournament here. Beautiful, spotless new facility. Friendly staff in the parking lot and at the door. Ample bleacher seating by the courts and picnic tables to enjoy the wide variety of options available at concessions. Being a facility that recently opened, parking is limited on the immediate premises but they have a remote lot with a luxury shuttle to/from the facility. Do not park in the lot for the dome next door, you will be towed. Multiple announcements made reminding people of this, as well as thanking spectators for their patience while they work to build more parking.

This facility should not be hosting large tournaments. It has completely failed to provide adequate parking for the players and families. Extremely disappointed in the management of this place, do better. Have fun waiting for a shuttle ride from miles away where you have to leave you car.

One of the best facilities we have been to.
It’s clean and the staff are constantly cleaning the picnic tables and the bathroom are spotless.
We have been to many volleyball tournaments over the years and Energy by far ranks number one.
The concession stand has great food and a nice variety.
Give them a break on the parking issue. They are working out the kinks. The shuttle idea works. Have patience.

Played for Energy VBC six seasons and it was a life changing experience. Excellent coaches, excellent staff and the new facility is amazing! Strongly recommended to all girls eager to play volleyball!

New location is awful, way out where and constantly fighting O’Hare traffic to get there, parking has been mentioned already.

By far the most egregious thing is not allowing coffee into the facility. No outside food, not ideal but whatever, but not allowing my travel mug of black coffee? Complete and utter money grab from a club and their owners that’s completely out of touch with reality.

The best facility in the region by far. Very clean, incredibly huge space for their 10 courts, and plenty of seating even if you want to bring in a folding chair. As a player, you'll never have to worry about a high pass hitting the ceiling here! Even with an overflow lot, the shuttle driver took us door-to-door in less than 6 mins. Can't wait for the potential of this location as they continue to improve!

It's a nightmare!! if you don't get here early enough to avoid the polar express shuttle bus provided by the facility..
Volleyball tournaments are stressful if you're playing the first wave, I suggest you show up at 6am if you want a good parking spot second wave (good luck)
Also
Hide your snacks hide your coffees !!
They will retaliate if u don't follow their rules.

Absolutely atrocious parking and I've never been spoken too by a staff member as I was at this place. I spent 2 days and 8 hrs both days at this venue. Yes, at these venues outside food is not allowed. With that said, venues typically check at the door or ask u to kindly put it away. Do not take food from my 9 yr old and then talk to me as I'm the child. I refuse to spend 100 on food each day while taking a shuttle to and from my vehicle bc the parking lot can not accommodate such events. I can't even pack lunch to leave in my car. I refuse to ever come back no matter what.

I have been to Energy Volleyball Club multiple times and it is a cutting edge facility. This dome has 10 spacious courts and is an excellent place for all ages to learn skills and strategies of the game of volleyball. On competition days, it is a great facility for tournaments, as it can handle many teams and they do it efficiently. The staff is friendly and helpful, and expectations of visitors is clearly stated. Their concession stand has excellent food for all ages. The shuttle busses

Great new opened facility! Been a long visitor of the previous location and am a great fan of what they've got at the new place. Concessions are full of great entrees and snacks and the dome is massive with plenty of seats and is super easy to navigate. The parking however is not so thought-out: you either have to take a spot before sunrise as it will overflow, or park 2 miles away next to the baseball field. To be honest, that could've been inconvenient if not for the regular shuttle, which since I've started coming here practically every weekend been always present and haste. I can understand the frustration of my fellow volleyball parents, but the staff already does everything in their power to even out the inconvenience that came with a sudden opening. Looking forward for the new parking spots to be open!

After unsuccessfully getting a spot in the small parking lot my first time here, I went to the offsite lot with a shuttle that proceeded to drive right past me. Long story short it took me an hour and a half from dropping my daughter at the entrance to me finding a spot and walking in the door. Quite the adventure I wasn't expecting or care to repeat. No spot to go once inside during downtime other than some picnic benches Food selections could be a little more creative since you can't bring anything in. Otherwise a nice facility.

Not enough parking, not enough seating, no food allowed (for an 8 hour tournament?), the list goes on. Also, my credit card was charged more than the ticket price. Classy. And our kids were expected to work their own tournament that we paid to watch. Parking lot not finished but they opened anyways. If your construction project isn’t finished, you aren’t ready to open. Seems like management bit off more than they can chew. Awful experience.

Shout out to the super cool shuttle driver though. She was the only highlight. Can’t believe there is a shuttle for a middle school volleyball tournament though. Such a poorly thought out design.

Facility is nice too bad the parking sucks! I never leave reviews but I am now! The shuttle service they provide from the parking lot that’s a mile and half away hit our car Presidents’ Day weekend with bad front end damage on my car and damage on the shuttle yet they refuse to cover it even thought the owner told us that day she would take care of it. I would tell your clubs to avoid this location at all costs!

Any clubs that choose to sign up for tournaments at this facility, do the parents and families a favor and pick a different one. This place is nothing but a money grab. Instead of taking constructive criticism in regards to ways they can improve, the staff is argumentative and very rude. We were told that we couldn’t bring any food or drinks from outside but could buy from them and then enter with it. When we brought a sandwich in on our first day (because greasy hotdogs and pizza were not an ideal choice prior to a game) we were laughed at by a staff member because we chose to eat it in the vestibule instead of buying their food. It’s unfortunate because the facility is decent and clean though there are murals depicting a cup of coffee standing behind jail bars to show that they are serious about taking additional money from you and using force if you bring in your favorite cup of Joe. Someone named Linda announced over the intercom that if you are caught with outside food then she will physically remove it from your hands and throw it in the garbage instead of simply asking someone to leave. Linda needs a job as a bar bouncer. Stay far away from this place if you can.

This sports facility was so well thought out when they decided to build it, you get three amazing choices for parking. One is free, the other is $10, and the last choice is a 10 minute drive away, with a shuttle provided. All of them will be full when you arrive, so you'll get plenty of time to decide on which parking spot you want. The elderly staff welcomes you with a warm "no outside food or drinks allowed", as soon as you enter. As far as your safety, the cops are called here at least twice a day. I guarantee you'll never have an experience like this place!

I had a terrible experience at Energy Volleyball Club. The communication regarding parking was abysmal. The parking lot is way too small to accommodate the number of people attending the volleyball tournaments. It was chaotic and frustrating, and there was no clear guidance on where to park. On top of that, the staff (mainly LINDA SNYDER) were incredibly rude. They actually yelled at spectators to throw away their coffee, which was completely unnecessary and made for an uncomfortable environment.

Wish I could give zero stars the facility is excellent but they spent all the money on the building and no money left over for a parking that can hold more than maybe 40 Cars. They have you drive down the road to a another lot and have shuttles but that lot was full too so then the hotel across the street charges $10 to park there but that was full too so then you have too wait for a car to leave and maybe get a spot. Then they announce they are towing vehicles. It’s a Terrible operation set people up to get towed that just wanna watch there kids play. Will not be going to this tournament again.

This facility is the WORST! Went for a volleyball tournament, there was not enough parking so was told to go to an overflow lot 5 minutes away to get a shuttle, well that was FULL too! And no one there directing or helping! Then finally a spot opened up, to get there and the seating inside is terrible and the food is expensive and bad. Heard more than once over the loud speaker people were about to get towed too. Never coming back here will avoid any tournaments here unless something changes.

The setup of this facility is pathetic. Parking is very limited and their offsite parking and parking with shuttle wasn’t operating that weekend of the tournament even though that’s what was promoted. They did “con” people into paying $10 for overflow parking and paying an extra extra $2/person “surcharge” for using credit card for entry into facility, but no surcharge for cc purchase for concessions, I wonder why that is? This place is a shady organization looking for ways to nickle and dime people, DO BETTER! This place should not be allowed to host tournaments.

Horrible Location! I drove over an hour and had to pay $10 for parking, then pay $10 + $2 service fee for a card to get in. Upon entry, every kid has their own water/Gatorade or whatever, but parents are not allowed to bring in coffee. However, you can buy their coffee and walk in what a money grab!
