I wish i could give this place a 3.5. The only negative I have about this place is a big one. The gym has everything you can ask for, but... it's so dirty!!! Every morning there's trash on the floor.... every morning. Mondays are the worst! Someone told me there was mold in men's locker room. When I signed up they said they had a call out to fix the broken racquetball window... I'm pretty sure that was a lie. I heard weekends they often open late. I've experienced one really late open (15 minutes), and a lot of minute or 2 late openings (although I think they have rectified this issue as of late). No complaints about the gentleman behind the front desk. Always a nice greeting and goodbye. They used to have spray bottles to wipe down your equipment after use, but I haven't seen those in a while. If you don't care about cleanliness, then this place is 5 stars, but if you do, I would come early one morning and take a walk around to see the trash on the floor.

Cheap, they have a pool, and you can really get a good pump, plenty of machines. Staff is garbage, never see anyone on the floor, and the person at the front desk is always on the cellphone when I come in, they look at me like "what the hell am I doing here". Very affordable gym. I hope the management thinks about adding more squat racks. There are only 3 squat racks right now in which one of em is very low quality. Even then those are always occupied.

Please add more squat racks all the powerlifting peeps are going to appreciate this.

Please also add big diameter weights its very hard to deadlifts with the small diameter 10lbs weight. Not everyone will put 45s to begin with. Also there is no 35 increment weight.

Side note: there is a couple that comes here. They are very rude and always hogging squat racks in busy hours. The girl would do her set and would go on to talk to her boyfriend leaving the rack occupied although she has taken adequate rest she still takes her sweet time. Some people are very inconsiderate of others. I dont think management gets paid enough to deal with this kind of stuff but its very frustrating

This location deserves ZERO stars. Cleanliness is an issue, in addition to thievery occurring in the locker rooms. This is definitely their responsibility, but not taken seriously. Cars are broken into in the parking lot as well. Obviously, there are safety concerns. Oftentimes, there is difficulty booking sessions with the better trainers as the turnover rate appears to be high. There are times when only 2 trainers are available. They are most likely overworked and underpaid. Mike B is the director of personal training. He is also EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional towards clients and the staff. A position of lesser authority would be more suitable as he appears to be unqualified to deal appropriately with members and his own employees. What an embarrassment to LA Fitness! Do yourself a favor and join another facility.

Convenient location keeps me here. The people are friendly enough. Wide selection of machines available, but they're in bad need of cleaning. The locker rooms and shower areas should be redone, as they're probably beyond saving. Lots of broken lockers, dirty carpet, broken tile, etc. It stinks! All of L.A. Fitness equipment and amenities that I have consistently loved for over a decade (through three separate locations in two geographic regions), but now for a monthly price that rivals that of gyms such as Planet Fitness? YES PLEASE! I am thrilled to return as an Esporta member, and this particular location is outstanding. The app is also very easy to navigate. I'm gonna have to update my review on this gym. Ever since the whole rebranding from LA Fitness to Esporta Fitness, this gym has truly gotten down hill. By reducing the prices of gym memberships to cheap prices, they have attracted a bad and weird crowd of people. There's been rampant theft occurring in the locker room, and a few days ago the shower's warm water turned off and the staff did absolutely nothing about it for over 2 days. I've noticed this gym has lost a lot of customers and business these days since the rebranding, unfortunately rumors are spreading that gym may no longer be able to operate and may shut down in the future if it's current state as Esporta fitness continues.

This gym is absolutely filthy. Trash everywhere, overflowing garbage bins, the floor has like an inch of dirt and hair, equipment is also dirty. There's never any hand sanitizer and paper towels available when you need it, even though the whole pandemic. Cleaning guys just socialize and eat during their shift. Front desk people don't even acknowledge you when you check in. Pool and hot tub is also really dirty and there's no maintenance checking the quality of the water. If you swim in the pool, your gonna have a bunch of other human hairs sticking to you. Gross. New members, Go to another gym. La fitness is all about their profits, not your health and well being.

8/6 Friday night around 8:45pm, a guy wearing hoodie and a cap walked into women’s locker room from the pool side entrance, he first opened the sauna door, sees a woman inside then closed the door, then he wondered into the locker area, I was blow drying my hair and asked him if he came to wrong locker room. He did not look surprised at all and calmly walked out of there. He clearly was not rushing out of the locker room after I told him this is the women’s locker room, hinting it was not a mistake, he was very well aware of this and possibly had other intention in mind. This is a very alarming experience especially for all the ladies!!!!!!! PLEASE the gym if you can look into this man with security camera or have better security over this kind of matter.

This is a cheaper lower end LA Fitness. Unlike the one in Westmont, the showers don't provide shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Just regular soap. Secondly, there's no lotion provided or hair dryers. Thirdly there's no steam room, the hot-tub doesn't have soap filled water. There is a lack of ventilation so it smells musty and stuffy at times in the weight rooms. No tv area for a lounge. Everything I listed however, is AVALAIBLE at the Westmont LA Fitness basically at the same price. So I would opt there instead. Also what's with people throwing paper towels all over the ground here, no manners?

So today as I was exiting the facility I heard a customer being very disrespectful to the female associate working the desk about the the cleanliness of the gym. At this point the associate went to get the manager who came to the desk and explained to the customer he is doing his best to accommodate him and everyone else to make the gym a pleasant place to workout. Needless to say the customer was still not happy with what was being said and continued to disrespect him by yelling at him. I heard the manager say his name was "Adam" and the associates name was "Theresa" they handled the situation very professionally and had alot of patients with this customer

Every time I’m here, it’s a disaster. The staff is always congregated at a desk, heads burried, and nothing is where is should be. LA Fitness clubs are required to sweep the club to tidy up, but I have yet to see that happen. There are entire racks of free weights and plates that are missing weights. The floors look like they haven’t been swept in the last month, and so much dust built up on some machines they look brown.

I've been coming here for the last 7 or so years. The staff is hit or miss. You dont always get a hello, or a welcome. Some staff just put the card reader up and dont acknowledge you. The weights are never racked, no one tries to put their weights back at this location.

The trainers however are really nice and friendly.

We went in there to try the gym for the first time and wow, I have never been treated so poorly. We were told we could use the facility and speak with membership after our workout. Within 10 minute of our workout, the lady at the front desk came and yelled at us. She was extremely aggressive and rude. She told us we could not use the facility even though we had been told that we could. 15 minutes later, the membership representative finally comes in and tells us it’s going to take 30 minutes to “interview” us to use the equipment. I’m just appalled at the customer service and would recommend staying away after the experience we just had. Nobody, who has to deal with customers, should ever act this way. Customer service is the easiest thing to do. JUST BE NICE and you’ll be fine! It’s not that hard.

I have a la fitness and originally signed up in Chicago. I always considered the staff in Chicago locations to be horrible. They arent helpful and seem like they're miserable working there. Front desk didn’t understand how to honor VIP guest priveileges and charged me because it was before 9am (random). Then when the manager was present (after 9) we were told we would be refunded but because it was my card she could not refund me. Poor customer service. Also not enough equipment cleaning stations. One squat rack, the others are too high to allow depth for back or front squat. Bummer!
