Update 8/10/2025: Sometime after posting this review, the owner asked me to take this review down saying that trainers pay $800 a month and they have priority over the other members. I really don't find this explanation acceptable so I chose to keep thiss review up.

Recently, I have been told that this will be my last month (while minding my own business during my time at the gym and not getting in anyone's way). Needless to say, good facilities but poor customer service.

=======================================

As a member who is on their third month at this gym, I am confident that I have enough time here to provide my review:

Good:
- Price is good. $75 annual fee and $50 monthly for the membership. This is quite cheap when you consider that people do blow more than $50 on a crappy doordash meal on the regular.

- The equipment. Your mileage might vary depending on what you do at the gym but for me, the equipment is good. Keep in mind that the space at the gym is small so there can only be so much equipment and it's already getting packed. The weightlifting equipment is prioritized over cardio so you know this gym is legit.

- This is a minor detail but there is a container with candy in the front that gets re-stocked regularly. I love this because it gives me a little treat to reward myself at the end of the workout.

Bad:
- This gym uses micro-fiber towels + spray bottle for cleaning. I have noticed recently that the clean towels are not being stocked in the front as frequent as I would like. This is not preferable because then I don't have the means to clean the machines that I use.

- Echoing the review by D Allison from a year ago, there are a lot of personal trainers around the morning and afternoon (after work) times. This in itself is not bad because I am not the only one who comes to the gym but I have noticed that they do INDEED hog multiple machines at a time. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

PSA for the personal trainers, if you can't make an efficient workout plan to train your clients within the scheduled time-slot that does not require super-sets then you have no business being a personal trainer. I said what I said.

I don't like to point out problems without suggesting a solution so here is what I propose for the issues that I pointed above.

- Either wash and stock the microfiber towels more frequently (respecting the schedule of the owner) or instead switch to paper towels and place more trashcans around the place. The second option would eliminate the need for the owner to wash the towels and bring them to the front.

- Implement a rule for the personal trainers that only 1 of them can train clients within the hour for peak hours at the gym (mornings and afternoons after work). Off peak hours, there is a cap of 3 trainers within the hour.

This might sound harsh but I think that us folks who pay for the membership should be prioritized over the trainers.

- Also, prohibit the trainers from super-sets. NO EXCEPTIONS.

I get it, your client paid you for only one hour and you gotta give them a productive workout but that is not the problem of the other people who come to the gym. Either cut the amount of exercises in the workout or have the clients book multiple hours.

I will keep the review at 1 star for now but if I see improvements to the points above, I will modify or retract this review. I know I am coming across as an a-hole here but this is all constructive criticism (which is not necessarily nice) and I am paying money to come to this gym.

If you read this all the way, thank you for your time.

I had been going to this gym for awhile, albeit not very often. I moved a bench to a power rack with safeties since I was lifting alone. After I was done, I put away the weights but left the bench as I thought it might save a lone lifter time and the spot where I brought it from had 3 other benches. One of the trainers/staff chased me down on the street to come back and move it. Embarrassed, I did so, I hadn’t meant to break any etiquette. The part that bothers me is he continued to lecture me from across the room in front of the gym while I moved it. I understand asking me to fix it, that was my mistake, but you don’t need to be a dick about it. There have been a few other experiences that at the end of the day caused me to leave.

The facility is nice and generally pretty empty, but their treadmills aren’t great. There are 2 (one with a very narrow tread and the other a bit cumbersome to use) and 1 self propelled one. If you have both treadmills going and someone is on the power stairs, it will usually overload the circuit and shut everything down - which of course isn’t ideal.

I’d say overall the facility is nice and not crowded, but the culture isn’t my favorite. The gym is more suited for lifters, and not hybrid athletes who are also looking to get quality runs in.

Clean gym, pricing is great. However, there were always 3-5 training sessions whenever I was working out. Each trainer would hog three different machines/spots at a time, or ask to work a set in with the equipment you were using. It’s a small gym so there would either be nowhere to stand or you felt like you were in the way.

Super clean gym with all new equipment. It is never too busy to where I cannot finish a workout and the energy here is always high. If you're sick of going to box gyms where you have to wait 15 minutes for equipment then this is the place for you.

I love it here! The equipment is top notch above Equinox, FFC, LVAC, LA Fitness or Xsport. It's clean and a private facility. The owner is there almost every day of the week. Parking is pretty easy and it's bike and scooter friendly in that area.
