Amazing location. Near Navy Pier, right on Lake Michigan, blocks from Michigan Avenue, and nice rooms.

Very nice rooms and great view. The only thing I didnโt like was the bathroom door. It was a glass sliding door and it was very difficult to close. It left a 2-3 inches crack. Parking was great

The location is perfect! Beautiful scenery all around, amazing view from the suite, definitely a vibe. The staff was very accommodating. Everyone from the doormen to concierge checked on us daily. They'd ask how our trip was going, and then take it a step further by recommending something THEY could do to better it. Good customer service is rare nowadays, so I had to leave a review to express our appreciation. Chicago is always a good time, but staying at the W - Lakeshore made it even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

We arrived for check in and received a warm welcome from Frank. He was awesome and very kind. I was hesitant about booking because of the reviews but Iโm so glad that I did. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Not to mention our view from the room was exactly what I expected. So glad I did choose this hotel!! Definitely Will come back.

Used to be 5 star. My fiance and I came here a lot. The service, food and ice machines are lacking. 3 floors either way from our room have disassembled ice machines. The room service is nothing like it was before. The property is just generally dilapidated. It's actually pretty sad that Chicago is losing another (what used to be) world class hotel.

The manager, Etta, was very rude, unprofessional, unwillingly to accommodate with the issues that we had. No apology for the inconvenience. Threatened to kick us out of the hotel, just for being frustrated with them for the unwillingness to fix their mistake. Do not waste your money on this place. This ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing and stress-free getaway.
