I’ve been working with Johnny for about 8 months now.
Going into the experience, I was worried about feeling intimidated by the personal training gym environment. Those concerns were totally unfounded. Johnny and the other trainers establish a relaxed environment and work to create a sense of community amongst the trainers and trainees.
Johnny offers the right balance of encouragement and accountability. He wants you to succeed and will work with you to ensure you meet your goals. He is a great teacher, showing you how to position your body to ensure maximum results. Most importantly, he is patient and will help you make corrections when needed.

Six month:
Six months ago I thought I would try something new... eating better AND working out hard.
It wasn’t the best time to start something new, with baby on the way, I didn’t make it easier on me or my family. But we persisted, we worked through it, and survived. It’s never ever convenient to change, but it is always necessary.
I’m down 40lbs and halved by body fat in lbs and in %, down 4inches on the waist. I’m the fittest I have ever been and thankful for the ability and support to make this kind of change.
Thank you John Barhoumeh at Lifestyle Fitness for being incredible, motivating, and one of the most engaging, caring and positive influences on this journey. We’ve only just begun.

Prior to starting my training with Johnny, I thoroughly explored the numerous options available to me. During my initial meeting with him, he set up the foundation and goals he wants to target. He was someone I vibed well with in comparison to the other trainers in the area. I signed up for 12 sessions and just renewed for another 12 sessions solely because he is THE best and I am extremely pleased with my results. No gimmicks or easy way out. His approach is very organic - give it your all during weight training, eat right and be persistent. You will see results! The atmosphere you'll be training in is super welcoming as well. What I found was a trainer, Johnny, who not only coaches me on strength training, but also on nutrition and appropriate balance of cardio and accountability as well as proper functional movement. I started going to Fuel Your Training during Covid while my other gym was closed and Johnny has been wonderful to work with as is his facility. Johnny and team are doing an excellent job adhering to all of the current guidelines; patrons are spaced out and each piece of equipment is thoroughly cleaned after use. I've been working out with Johnny for about six months now and I can see the difference. He does an exceptional job at gauging a person's strength and abilities for a personalized work out-- he pushes you but only to where your body can comfortably go. I've worked out with several trainers in the past that seemed great at first only to find myself developing knee pain or back pain after a couple months, but half a year in I feel strong and healthy. The one reason I usually avoided gyms is now one of the many reasons I love this gym: the people.
Everybody is so encouraging, kind and supportive. Johnny has given me the push I so desperately needed. He is extremely knowledgable when it comes to fitness and nutrition, giving me the proper guidance to keep me on track to achieve my goals. I'm learning A LOT! He genuinely cares about his clients and is dedicated to helping them succeed. The workouts are always different, fun and individualized to target different muscles on different days.
I messed up my back years ago. Not only am I learning the correct ways to workout to prevent further injury and to improve posture, I'm also falling back in love with exercise. Thanks to Johnny I'm doing it the safe and smart way this time around. Maintaining a healthier lifestyle has never felt more attainable. Each day I feel stronger, more confident and motivated. A feeling that is priceless. Not to mention my clothes are beginning to fit more comfortably. For as long as I can remember I've had the worst sweet tooth/willpower but now my stomach has shrunk and I've actually managed to curb my appetite. Nowadays I look to food as fuel rather than comfort. It's only week 3 and I've already lost 6 pounds. The temptations are so much easier to resist. I have a ways to go but I look forward to the journey ahead. I need to keep reminding myself it's not how far you have to go, it's how far you have come. I was very unhappy with myself and uncomfortable in my own skin so I decided to take action. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, not only telling me what to do, but more important, making sure I am doing it correctly and paying attention to critical details. The workout he has designed for me is challenging but not intimating. I've worked out for 5 weeks and already seen my energy level going up dramatically. Johnny is an AMAZING trainer. I came in being minimally flexible and having not working out in over 5 years, now I am working out with him every week. Each session I have with him is a little different because he is able to tailor it to what I need to work on. If I am not able to do a certain move, with his knowledge of the human body and how our muscles work, he is able to change it slightly so that I am able to do it.

Terrific guy-terrific trainer! I brought my daughter in to train with Johnny over the summer before leaving for college.
She absolutely loved him. Johnny not only worked with her on strength training, but also kept reinforcing the nutrition so important in being healthy.
Johnny suggested we train together, which was a great suggestion because my daughter and I got a chance to spend time together doing an activity, gave us bonding time, and it jump-started me back into working out.
Now my daughter is away at school and I have continued with the training, which has been so helpful. I have noticed a difference in developing some definition to my muscles and I definitely feel stronger, have more energy, better balance and Johnny has even improved my scoliosis and obviously, my posture. I highly recommend Linda and Johnny to anyone wanting to get in shape, better understand how to using proper eating and exercise daily lifestyle changes. They listen to you and get to know the person and any body ailments/issues you may have in order to not harm that part of your body with exercises. Great variety of exercise routines to keep you interested and not bored along with a good variety of equipment for cardio workouts.

Fuel your training workouts have been a super positive experience for me! My friend and I were working out with another trainer at the gym and the trainer suddenly stopped answering our calls. Vera and I are good friends and we use the workouts to push each other and connect on a weekly basis. FYT came to our rescue!! Linda and Johnny realized that what we need is a total body workout and proceeded to teach us about proper nutrition and habits. I have been working out with Johnny for over a month now and I can't be more happy about what he helped me to achieve during such a short time. He's always on time, and is flexible to adjust your workout schedule if you need it. He knows when to push you harder and when to tell you to leave your ego behind the door. He gives you a strict and personalized plan on your work outs and your diet. In the first 2 weeks I was overwhelmed with the new information, and Johnny was patient answering my questions and concerns. I had never seen a personal trainer before March of this year, but knew I needed some help and motivation to get active and start watching my nutrition. After a search for trainers in my area I found Johnny from Fuel Your Training. It's by my work and I was recommended by few of my coworkers. Considering the reviews were so favorable I scheduled a consultation.
I had my consultation with Johnny and he went over the details of the scheduling and pricing and payment and asked me about my goals. Most importantly he answered all of my questions. He was so down to earth and his energy was great. I was excited to find we could work out schedules so that I could have him as my trainer.

I've been working out with Johnny for a month now at the suggestion of my good friend. It's been a great experience--he pushes me to work out in a motivating fashion. I am looking to improve my overall conditioning and increase my level of fitness. I had a roll over car accident resulting in injury to my neck, back, shoulder and chronic numbness in my arm and hand for two years after the accident. Since I had those injuries I had not worked out when I started with Johnny. I had gone through physical therapy but I really noticed a difference after working with Johnny. I do not have neck, back, shoulder or numbness in my hand. Johnny helped build my strength and increase my mobility. I also enjoy going to the facility when I am not working with Johnny because of the condition of the machines and friendly community.

Fuel Your Training is a great community gym. The gym is spacious with modern equipment, nice TVs and good workout music. There is enough quantity and variety that there are never lines to use the machines. The staff are very friendly and have fostered a real community feel amongst the members. There are a lot of regulars, some who have been going for 10 years or more, which is an endorsement of the trainers and facility itself.
I workout with Johnny Barhoumeh, who is a great personal trainer. I would recommend him to people at any fitness level.
