I love this gym!! I have been with GCP for nearly 2 years now and have enjoyed creative and challenging workouts that can be modified for anyone. Joining Game Changing Performance (GCP) in June 2023 was one of the best decisions best decisions I have ever made. Over the initial 12-week program, I lost 30lbs. This has truly been life-changing for me. I have a ton more energy, sleep better, eat better, and just have a more positive outlook in general.

I’ve been to many “gyms” but this is definitely different. The GCP team helps me focus on ALL areas to obtain my true goals not “just” exercise. They teach nutrition, hydration, food intake, timing of eating, portion control, good food vs not so good food; & tailor exercises to help me achieve my personal goals and support me with a mentally positive attitude. The class times & location are very good too. I’ve stepped up to semi private classes from the group classes to achieve my goals sooner (since summer is almost here!) I highly recommend GCP as it’s been a great experience and best of all everyone is friendly and has a positive attitude no matter what your experience level is or what you are personally trying to achieve!

My decision to join Game Changing Performance (GCP) in November 2022 was the best decision I have made in a long time. GCP delivered on their promise of giving me all the necessary resources I need to meet the goals I have set for myself:
1) Great workouts that push you out of your comfort zone and deliver results.
2) A community of people that support and positively impact each other each morning. I look forward to seeing my tribe each morning.
3) Nutritional guidance and accountability coaching. I am grateful that I went all in with GCP with these components of their programs. I am eating healthier, have more energy and can manage my own eating habits because of what I have learned.
In 13 weeks I have lost 23 pounds, lowered my BP by 10pts on the top and bottom and fit into clothes that I never thought I would get back into:)

I’ve always wanted to have a consistent workout routine but never liked going to overcrowded gyms and really didn’t know what workouts to do to be efficient. GCP effectively eliminated all my problems/ worries when it came to working out and more. Here i can come knowing they have a set workout for me that really challenges your whole body not just upper body or lower body, each day is directed towards overall growth/ weight loss. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive and helpful in many aspects. There’s been plenty times where i felt i wasn't doing a workout right and they quickly fixed it by just a slight adjustment that i would’ve never known. 10/10 recommend GCP if you’re unsure where to start.

I started coming to GCP in June after being referred by a friend. I have never been able to stick to a workout plan and would always quit trying after a few days in. Love, love, love this place!! There have been so many reasons I haven't been able to maintain a fitness journey, but the coaches here are dedicated to not only getting you on track, but finding ways that work for you to stay on that track. I will fully admit, I have "fallen off the track" a few times, but they don't make you feel bad about it and just talk you thru it and what you can do to get back to where you need to be.
The workouts themselves are challenging in the best way. Sometimes we tend to underestimate our capabilities and strength, but the coaches will definitely bring those out in you in a fun and challenging way.
If you are looking for a gym that will bring out the best of your abilities without intimidation, this is the place to be!

GCP is a great place to work out. Its a really friendly environment, and the coaches are really helpful and fun. There is a lot of variety in the workouts so it never gets dull, and there are always modifications if you need something either more or less intense. They offer extra programs and challenges that you can participate in if you are interested, such as extra at home/travel workouts, or nutrition coaching. I highly recommend this gym for those looking for somewhere fun to workout instead of your boring treadmill, stairmaster, or dvd workouts in your basement!

Joining GCP in February was the best decision I have made. As a 45 year old over weight women I needed to make a life style change and not just another diet. GCP was exactly what I needed, at first I thought it would be too hard for me but all the workouts are modified to what each person can do, the support system is great there. GCP is a great place to go if you want to get in shape. Nate & Trevor do a great job of guiding you through the process and answering all your questions before you join. Once you join they are available all the time with support and any questions you may have. The classes can be difficult but they can be done no matter what shape you are in. The instructors demonstrate each exercise before you do them and they help you along the way. It is a fun atmosphere with all the other people in your class. There is absolutely NO judgement by anybody only encouragement. My wife and I are thrilled we joined, and we look forward to the classes.

I've been going to this gym for a few years now. I feel stronger and enjoy the various workouts. Every four weeks the trainers change it up, so the workouts never get boring. Classes start as early as 5:30 AM or as late as 6:15 PM. From Cardio classes, to Triple A, to Weight loss specific training, there is plenty of work-out choices that fit anyone specific goal and schedule. The trainers make sure you use proper form and will modify the exercises based on your ability. I also enjoy the family like community the trainers Nathan and Trevor are trying to build. They know every by name and make sure you are having fun while getting stronger.

What a great facility and program! I joined GCP in January 2020 and started with their six week Transformation Challenge. During the six week challenge I lost 21 pounds (over 35 pounds after 6 months) !! I recently completed a 6 week challenge. I lost 16 lbs, 4 inches and I feel so much stronger and in better shape. I signed up as a full time member; I want to see what I can to myself in 6 months. This is a very down to earth gym. The members are all friendly, Nathan and Trevor are great. It is not intimidating or lonely here. The coaches really pay attention to you - holding you accountable (Nathan asked me what happened to me when I missed 2 classes on separate occasions - I swear he has a memory like an elephant). Like anything weight loss it is all about the nutrition. They kept it simple (for the challenge at least) - which I personally feel is key for sustainable.
I literally have tried cross fit gyms, Orange Theory, LA Fitness, Bally's (when they were still around), long distance running - I have tried a lot. The largest difference I see with GCP and the others is the accountability (you get on scale every Monday) and attention you get.

Perfect place for whatever fitness goals you’re trying to accomplish whether you’re a beginner trying to lose weight or well off into your fitness journey. Trevor and Nathan are nothing short of amazing! Two of the most friendly and open people who are dedicated to having their clients perform at their best. I have always been the person to hate gyms and be extremely intimidated by them and bored of the typical elliptical and the same treadmill day after day. GCP is NOT a basic gym. Can't recommend enough. I feel like I have finally found a supportive fitness family, that is highly educated and experienced in all levels of fitness. It is especially important to me because I suffer from a very aggressive auto immune disease, that sometimes makes me immobile. Sometimes, with three kids and working 6-7 days a week, it's hard for me to get out of bed when I am not feeling well, but I actually feel better when I am there. I feel taken care of and encouraged, and I can trust that they are very knowledgeable when setting my limits and boundaries. The people who go there are friendly, hard-working and quick with a welcome smile. My only regret is not finding them earlier. I am excited to be on this journey with them, not only for weight loss but also for maintaining a healthy way of living.

A great experience! I prefer to exercise at home, but found myself stuck in a rut and losing motivation. I decided to try GCP when I saw their summer challenge offer in our community newsletter. I’m so glad I did! I find the classes very motivating and love the variety. Nathan and Trevor provide excellent guidance and support in taking us through the exercise routines, and also provide nutritional guidance. I was a little hesitant to start at a gym, but the atmosphere is very friendly, supportive and not intimidating at all. Game changing performance (GCP) has truly been a game changer for me! In 2 months time I have lost nearly 20 lbs and visible INCHES everywhere! But most important I have GAINED energy, stamina and confidence!
When I started 2 months ago I could barely do any of the exercises, but with the encouragement and coaching of Trevor and Nate, I can now do a lot of them. I still have trouble with stability but it is getting better the stronger my core gets!
At GCP, the classes/work out sessions are small and intimate! No overcrowding here! Everyone supports and encourages one another. This is by far the best gym I have ever been to!

I love to work out but have had several back surgeries so working out usually is painful. At GCP they perform a full evaluation and assess any limitations and dysfunctions you may have. They then offer modifications to the work-outs so that anyone and everyone can participate in every exercise of every work out. Without these modifications I would either be performing certain exercises in pain or skipping them altogether.

As an experienced triathlete I was not sure this was going to be what I needed to better myself. After my trial period I knew this was going to be my second gym. The people are great and workouts will kick your butt every time. They work with every level of fitness and there are many classes for all levels from beginner to an advanced athlete that needs to keep their strength training going all year long.

I would recommend Game Changing Performance to everyone - it is the perfect place for anyone looking to take his or her first step into the fitness world as I was or want to ramp up your fitness routine to the next level. The workouts are challenging, however Nate & Trevor will work with you to modify individual exercises or provide an alternative exercise as they did for me due to knee issues. They also provide assistance with nutrition and helpful tips to keep you engaged and motivated to reach your goals.
The coaches (Nate, Trevor, Mia and Karl) are wonderful in addition to every member of Game Changing Performance - they are your cheerleaders. There is no judgement – really, no judgement – the workouts are filled with “you can do it”, and there is always high-fives by everyone and "nice job" at the end of each work out.

I’m so happy a friend brought me to GCP Mundelein. I needed that motivation from working out with others. Nathan and Trevor are knowledgeable trainers and people are down to earth. Trainers meet you at your fitness level by giving many options for exercises. Come check it out!

I have been going to GCP for about 2 years. I guess you could call me a gym hopper as in I would go from one gym to the next but never felt comfortable anywhere until I found them. Coaches Trevor and Nate are amazing at what they do. Not only are they very knowledgeable about health and fitness they truly care about their clients. If you are struggling with anything they will check in on you and see how they can help whether it be emotional support or weekly check ins. Besides the coaches the atmosphere is great! The other clients that work out there are some of the funniest and most caring people I have ever met. It truly feels like a family.

I have belonged to GCP for a year and absolutely love it! They offer small group training classes and change up the workouts so you never get bored. They can modify all exercises, so whether you are a beginner or a workout warrior, you are guaranteed to get a great workout every time you go. The trainers are awesome and make the workouts fun. They really care about their members and are extremely supportive in helping everyone reach their goals. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been attending for 9 months and I feel fit and strong. I have increased my mobility and strength. The trainers are great - they get to know everyone and really pay attention to your technique and form - so you don't get injured. Family like atmosphere.

I am very happy with my experience at Athletic Revolution! There are a lot of group fitness locations out there, but none that care as much about their members as these 3 guys do. Aside from seeing great results and learning a ton about fitness and nutrition, it's the customer service that made my decision to join so easy. Brian, Nate and Trevor make you feel comfortable with where you are, while also encouraging and challenging you to set and reach your goals.

I have been a member here for about 15 months, and I LOVE it! The service is so personalized and they all really take they time to get to know each client and any limitations they may have. In the past, I have always held the opinion that exercise is not fun, but they make it fun. I actually look forward to going each week. I have been with them almost from the beginning, so I have seen how much they have grown and how successful they have become. This environment is great for someone that does not want to go to a big huge gym and be just another person there. At AR, you feel like a member of their family.

Athletic Revolution is the BEST place to work out. I have been there for almost a year now and am enjoying every moment of it. The instructors are awesome. They take the time to really work with each client to ensure they are getting the best out of their workouts. They also keep you motivated so you can achieve your personal fitness goals. The group classes are fun and challenging at the same time. I definitely recommend checking out Athletic Revolution!!!!
