Usually would never trash a business but this place is a complete joke I joined only a few weeks ago and already cancelled my membership. This place is poorly ran has very limited space with a very limited amount of equipment. If you plan on getting a full routine done make sure you're not limited on time. A lot of space is being used by equipment that no one touches. Come early or right before close if you want to be able to freely workout without having overly entitled people try and stop you from finishing your workout. In all honesty you'd be better off going to some places like planet fitness where it's half the cost and twice the space and you'd even be able to go to a different location not just the single location.

Cuenta con suficientes aparatos, por lo que sempre hay disponibles para hacer el ejercicio que deseas, aún en horarios pico.

Además todos los aparatos funcionan a la perfección, cuentan con un buen mantenimiento.

También lo complememtan diversas clases, adicionales a los aparatos.

I found a set of keys with their tag. I was trying to call so they'd inform the owner about the lost keys. Their phone line was broken - would sound busy every time I tried. Unacceptable

I travel a ton and go to many different gyms. This is a very nice space, very spread out where it doesn't look like it ever can feel "crowded", and has super good equipment. Honestly can say this is one of the cleanest gyms with super nice people.

This place is so over priced! There are several other Gyms that offer similar services for less money. I personally belong to Planet Fitness, They had the best prices around and the services are as good as any other Gym.

This is by far my favorite gym. I love the sauna, classes, and overall setup of the facility. It’s small and very clean. The only downside is no pool or track, however it fits my needs. It is expensive and I hear that the guy who runs it is a real piece of work but if it doesn’t affect me then I don’t care. I love working out it the classroom when it’s empty because it’s more private. I like that they allow people to put that room to use, even when classes aren’t in session. I have been to the Peoria Gold’s and it doesn’t hold a candle to this one, in my eyes.

I love this gym. I've lost over 80 pounds since I've been going there the last 3 years. Never had a bad experience save for one or two run-ins with other gym goers being jerks and dropping weights or being impatient with others in the gym. The one and ONLY reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because it is far too expensive. If it weren't for the convenience of being about 1/2 mile from my home and the only decent gym for 10 miles, I would go somewhere else. It cost $160 dollars for a 3 month membership whereas Planet only costs $30 for the same time span. Also, the hours are ridiculous. They close at 8 on Friday and 6 (!!!!) on Saturday and Sunday. I can understand not being open 24 hours but some people ( a LOT of people my age that I've talked to) like working out later. But the employees, machines, cleanliness and protein shakes are all great!

Gold's Gym has something for everyone. There are plenty of free weights and some very good machines. I've never had to wait for a treadmill or bike like I have at other gyms. The group fitness classes are excellent with instructors who really know their stuff! Very clean facility and the best shakes around to top it all off!

This gym is okay. Not the best. I've lived in Florida and Indiana and the cost of a Golds gym member is half of what it is here. $20 a month in FL and IN and they both had magnificent facilities. The one in indy had a movie theater cardio room and multi-levels, it was amazing. For the price of what they charge here you would think they would have something like that aswell.

I have been going to this gym for the last several plus years, and I am a HUGE fan. The equipment is kept clean and updated. The cardio machines are always well maintained and they have a great selection. The spin classes, group classes and HIT classes are fantastic: the Les Mills selction, often changed up for freshness and the instructors make it fun. Don't be surprised if you're singing to the songs and/or "whopping" in the air in the middle of spin with 10 of your newly found cycle mates. Not to mention that the selection of classes is sure to have something that suits you and your goals. They even have a drop in day care which makes it so easy for the busy mom (or dad) to create that down time needed for a good workout.

My favorite part of this gym though: their staff. This location has staff that has been with the manager, Todd, for a very long time. They are highly trained, highly motivated, and they also are dedicated to this gym. They keep up to date on the latest and greatest and the gym operates so smoothly with this dedicated team.

I read the reviews posted here, and I have to say: I was quite surprised. I have never ever been hit on by any golds team members or management, the front desk people are always there with a smile (even at 5:00 am) and I find the pricing which includes all the classes but Grit and private training quite reasonable.

I've been to Gold's gyms on the west coast (where they are actually BETTER than this one) and they don't charge near what this price gouging ridiculous place does. I don't know where these owners get off feeling like they can screw people over like this. Most likely because their members don't know any better. Sad really. Very sad
