Very happy customer. Ariel at the Orland Park location is the best. Always positive and able to break down complex swing issues to single to implement steps for better results. Started out high 90’s low 100’s. Ariel helped immensely to get me to a repeatable swing thru the bag She’s helped me reign in wild misses and chunks and get the ball in play and longer and straighter which resulted in lower scores. Where long par 5’s were 7’s or 8’s they’re now 5’s or 6’s and some times 4’s! The lessons with the two camera angles and the graphics overlay clearly show what you’re doing before and after changes. And the playing lessons a few times a season are awesome experiences which help take the classroom to the course often a missing “link” in game improvement. I have not only improved my scores (recent mid/high 80’s) but improved my confidence to sustain this as Ariel explains the why not just the how.
I tried this on a whim and could not be more pleased with the experience, value, and results
If you want to get serious and improve set up a swing evaluation and see for yourself. Commit to change and improve and Golftec will guide you to a better game !

It's all about the instructor at GolfTec!
My first year at GolfTec was a bit of a struggle, to be honest. Progress was slow, and I was starting to consider other options. Then, I had the fortune of meeting Ariel Jagmin, a truly unique instructor with a dynamic approach. Her collegiate playing experience and her step-by-step teaching method were a game-changer for me. But what really sets her apart is her ability to lighten the mood, to make the learning process enjoyable even when frustration sets in. It's a refreshing bonus that keeps me coming back for more.
As a result of Ariel's instruction, my game has improved significantly, particularly my short game. I'm now under 100 with a season-end goal of breaking 90.
If you end up at Golftec in Orland Park, the only choice is Ariel!

I highly recommend Sean B. if you’re looking to take your game to the next level or even starting golf! He has been extremely professional, a great golf coach, and is a knowledgeable club fitter.
Lessons with Sean has helped me reduce my handicap by 11 and has been crucial in helping me understand how to play/improve my golf game! My wife has also started up lessons with him (as an absolute beginner) and has improved drastically in a short time — we can play our public course stress free on the weekend!
For club fittings with Sean — I’ve done an iron fitting (2022), putter fitting (2023), driver / wood fitting (2023), and driver fitting (2024). With combo of lessons & the fittings I’ve been extremely happy with my purchases and he gives honest recommendations on what would be beneficial at the right time. I’ve purchased mizunos JPX923 irons, Odyssey San Diego putter, and AI Smoke triple diamond driver from Golftec.
Looking forward to continued lessons in 2024 season!

Do not take golf lessons from Tim Mercer and at the Orland Park location. I went in breaking 90 and in 5 lessons over a few months I was shooting 105 on average. He completely ruined my swing. Tim tried to completely change my swing. He told me to sweep the club as far as possible to the inside on the take away! In an attempt to flatten my swing plane at the top. He tried to change me to a one plane swing, from a neutral take away and some what vertical back swing. The result was the worst over the top swing ive had since picking up a club. When you could clearly see it wasnt working he just smugly said I don't know how to shallow the club. I quit lessons after 5. I went through all the video lessons with the Director of instruction Kevin Den Besten when I deiced to quit. I pointed out how my takeaway, hip sway, shoulder rotation, and over the top had all gotten worse after working with TIm and he completely agreed. Also ball flight and distance went from straight ball and little pulls to slices non stop . Lost 20 yards on my clubs. Kevin said "i usually don,t like to throw my people under the bus but I don't agree with what he did. I also took lessons with two PGA instructors since and discussed the lessons with them. Both were shocked at what Tim was trying to do. Unfortunately there is no ranking for most instructors all we have is word of mouth. Save your money and most importantly your time and game. Seek a PGA pro at a club you'll be glad to did.

I had a great experience over my lesson plan at GOLFTEC. My instructor was Sean and he is very knowledgeable with every aspect of the golf swing. Plus he makes it easy to understand and learn without overwhelming you. He takes the swing piece by piece and over the course of the lesson plan I learned so much and my swing feels completely different, in the best way possible. A lot more consistency and center strikes, but the biggest improvement was the dispersion of my mishits. It is a lot tighter now since working with Sean. The combination of a great instructor and the cameras made it very easy to see what I needed to work on and what I was doing well. The ability to review the highlights of the lesson and watch drills specifically chosen for what we talked about in that lesson on their portal is a great tool as well. I cannot recommend Sean at GOLFTEC enough. If you want to improve your golf swing and take strokes off your game, Sean is your guy!

Sean Bready is doing an excellent job as my coach. I’m in my fourth year as a golfer and I’ve learned more in less than one year with Sean than all my previous years combined. I’ve also recommended him to others

I have had a good experience with the lessons that I purchased at the Orland Park location. Before you go blow another 1000$ on new clubs, spend the same $ on a lesson package. If you listen and practice, you will get results. Both Matt Isaacson and Sean Brady have done an excellent job with my lessons.

Purchased a 10 pack of lessons w an instructor Richard B. Great coach, cool guy, very friendly and attentive instructor. After using only 4 of the 10 lessons I had purchased, my instructor Richard had to resign for personal reasons. Golftec offered to re-work my remaining lessons but at my inconvenience so I declined. I had my original schedule set and pre-planned w my original instructor and although him resigning is unfortunate, the inconvenience was not my fault.
**** Golftec offered me a refund of 20% of the remaining value of my lessons. My advice is, get your golf lessons elsewhere. The management at this establishment does not care about their clients, their improvement, or progressing the game of golf. You are a simply a transaction and revenue. ******

First and foremost, I’m a beginner golfer and just wanted to improve my game to be more competitive with my friends. This place is outstanding! Top of the line equipment and technology. But the staff is the best part.
Sean B. has made every step of the process so comfortable and enjoyable. During my swing evaluation he gave me easy to understand corrections and drills to keep working on them; every lesson since has built on those skills.
Had the pleasure of meeting Kevin today. He happily walked me through how to set my booth up for practice and was more than accommodating. Here’s the icing, had an issue with my driver, Kevin took time out of his day to evaluate the equipment and then contact the manufacturer for a warranty claim, dude even offered me his driver for my upcoming outing! This place is amazing and an absolute must for anyone looking to up their game, beginner to advanced. Can’t recommend more!

My son gets lessons with Rich. From the first lesson, we knew it was going to be great. He is so informative, kind, helpful and made my son feel comfortable.
He has helped him improve so much and is so kind to us all.
He answers all questions with great knowledge. Highly recommend Rich, he is a genuinely kind person who we greatly appreciate.
Golf tech is a clean awesome place to practice and get lessons.

Professionalism hits a new high here with the coaches and management staff here. Never felt pressure to buy lessons or products, just informed about ability to better my game on at my pace. They are helpful, efficient, and very competitive for pricing, and yet, the quality of the service would make you feel you're at a 5 star hotel. They put you first and help you based on nothing else but you. Awesome place, and by the way, I have shaved off 8 strokes around since working with their staff!

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to take golf lessons under several instructors from multiple sources. GOLFTEC Orland Park is now my preferred option to take lessons. It is the calming, reassuring, confident voices of Kevin, Ariel, Richard or Sean together with the instruction including video playbacks of either the student or a PGA professional along with the data analytics from the GOLFTEC computers that elevates the lessons above and beyond all others. I highly recommend the GOLFTEC Orland Park to golfers of all skill levels.

What can I say. Tim broke down my swing showed me comparisons to some of greats and how my swing looks after literally 30 mins my mechanics was almost spot on visually which is such a confidence booster just from one swing evaluation. Signed up right away for lessons effortless teacher great at just getting to the point and small easy drills to get you where he likes. And he’s an awesome dude can’t say enough can’t wait for the lessons we have planed for the future. Tim if you see this. Your the man lol

Not a good experience. Very pricey, promised 30 min practice sessions with my package and even on course lesson when spring rolled around, but they never follow through. I too went to Tim mercer, nice guy, but hes not a teacher. Golf tech as a whole teaches the ever dead stack and tilt principal. Weight forward 60% or more, take backswing waaay inside around body, finish with locked elbows in front. Weak swing, you will never get power or consistency from this technique. They say you will bottom club out consistently, but they forgot to tell you that maybe you will if you play 250 rounds a year and you never ever want to hit a fade or straight ball. Just ask Aaron Baddely and Sean Foley who almost ruined Tiger. If you have any kind of back issues, stack and tilt will destroy you. I can see why other reviewer said Tim ruined swing. It will cause you to have OTT move coming that far inside on takeaway. I told Tim at onset I wanted nothing to do with S&T. He was useless and lost from that point on. Sad thing is he would argue with me at lessons and talk down to me if i wasnt getting what he was teaching. I went from a 13.3 index to a 23 index in 3 months with them. Was miserable and shot the worst scores in decades trying to learn what he taught, he really didnt care. I stopped going, went to a club pro when weather broke and 3 months of unlearning bad golf tec habits and hard work later I was down to a 11.1. I never even went back to Golf Tec for my remaining lessons I paid in advance for. Sad thing is they never called to say I had more remaining or to see why I never came back. This was second time this happened. Oak brook was same. I still have paid in advance for lessons there from 3 years ago. This is a waste of money folks, they are all the same. Go to a local course club pro. Golf tec is a franchise joke and only know one swing technique. There way or the highway, Doesnt matter age, body type, or personal issues. Stack and Tilt or a remnant thereof is all Golf tec is. Stay far far away if you truly want to get better.
