UPDATE: 2 years later we are still here and still love it! The trainers are amazing, we love how varied the workouts are, and we even started bringing our daughter! It's the longest we've every stuck with a gym. I can see us here for a long time!

My husband and I joined H4 Training a month ago, and we absolutely love it! The small group training makes you feel included, the workouts are varied and challenging, and the trainers know exactly when to push you to stretch yourself. In just this short time I've noticed not only getting stronger, but having better balance, sleeping better, and overall feeling less stress during the day. Our experience with H4 has been amazing
The model works really well for us and I would believe for people of any age or fitness level. The coaches provide real time guidance and feedback on your form and resistance level. Alternate exercises are offered continuously depending on fitness level or injuries. The coaches get to know you and how much to “push” or pull back, optimizing the workout.
Community is really important. You not only get to know the coaching team well, but you also build relationships with other members. We have met our best friends at H4 and workout with them consistently a few times a week.
Accountability is also a product of the model. I think many times people think accountability comes from the amount you pay but I have found it really comes from the H4 community, coaches and other members. I look forward to going to the gym and interacting with coaches and members. As a result we have consistently worked out at the gym week in and week out for years.
Results are ultimately the most important. I feel healthier, have more energy, have lost weight and am stronger than before.
I would strongly recommend H4 for anyone looking to improve their health and overall fitness.

I love this gym! I had been struggling to find a place after my old gym closed. After my first visit I knew I had found my new home. The workouts are full body and always changing, which I love because it keeps things interesting for my mind and body. The coaches are friendly and attentive. They know when to challenge you or to scale you back. The environment is welcoming to everyone no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

I posted the below review back in 2022 when I first started at H4 and my opinion of H4, the workouts, the trainers and the overall experience has only grown. Over those 3+ years I have dropped a significant amount of weight, added strength, improved my cardio and my health physically, mentally and emotionally has never been better as an adult. Back then my only experience was with the Geneva gym, but my sentiments extend to the Wheaton gym as well after getting to know the trainers there also. I wouldn’t classify H4 as a gym because it is much more than that for me. They are like a gym considering clients are there to get in better shape and to work out. However they are more than a gym with the personal touch, genuine interest in all clients, their desire to help everyone achieve their personal goals and the friendships I’ve developed there. H4 has changed my life for the better and I am grateful I found a facility that cares so much. As long as I live in this area I will be a loyal and devoted client. And if I ever move away, I will drop in for a workout every time I’m here. If you are looking to improve your health with a personal touch, then go to H4. You won’t be disappointed!!! (And tell them Mike sent you so I get the referral benefit!).
Earlier this year I made a decision to work on my health and fitness after an eye-opening doctor's visit. I initially began working out at another area facility and while the workouts were intense, there was something missing. I contacted H4 and began my two week complimentary classes; and I found what was missing. The most noticeable differences were the trainer engagement, encouragement, and personal interest in me, my health and my goals. Additionally, the other clients create a sense of community and all encourage one another. When I started I was out of shape and unable to complete some of the exercises at times, but I was always encouraged to do my best and I have never felt judged by the trainers or clients.
During my time I have suffered a few injuries which have limited my ability to complete exercises and the H4 trainers have always found alternative exercises for me to complete. And they have added some personal touches by sending me text messages checking on how I was recovering.
While I still have a long way to go to achieve my personal goals, I am on the right path and I know I will receive continuous support from H4. Regardless of your fitness level, if you are searching for a gym in the Geneva area, then I highly recommend H4. You won't be disappointed!

I have loved working out here for over 6 years for many reasons. First, the energy that the trainers bring every single day is just what we all need! Next, the space is always sparkling clean. There are so many more reasons but another one is the variety of workouts using the variety of equipment keeps my body in top shape!

After decades of being a generic gym member, I (41F) was ready for an upgrade in my physical form and ability. After a few trial sessions at H4, I instantly noticed a difference in muscle tone and I was hooked. The small groups and trainer : member ratio in each session offer the accountability, attentiveness to proper form, and camaraderie that I didn’t know I was missing in my regular gym workouts before H4.

I LOVE working out at H4! The trainers are amazing! They are great about explaining each exercise, correcting form, and adjusting workouts for those with injuries. The workouts are effective and I definitely see results!
I also love the sense of community at H4. There is a monthly activity outside of working out that brings members together and I think that sense of community is what really sets H4 apart from other gyms.

I've been going to this gym for almost a year after a friend recommended it, and I really like it. I'm a chiropractor so I'm picky about biomechanics and how exercises are done. H4 Training Geneva does a great job with programming safe and effective workouts. The trainers give clear instructions and are great about correcting form when needed. With a 4:1 ratio, there is plenty of personalized attention. People of all ages (teens to 80+ years old!) work out here, and the trainers offer modifications or alternative exercises based on each client's needs. They really get to know you- both where to help and when to push you. I get bored with workouts easily but the variety from week to week keeps me coming back. Danielle is the trainer I workout with the most, and I love her enthusiasm. I've worked out with several other trainers there too- Taylor, Edward, Josh, Jacob- all fabulous (except for that Hank guy... I'm kidding! He's the owner and also wonderful to work with). The people who go there are all very friendly, and I appreciate the extra support. I highly recommend giving H4 a try!

The gym is great. All the trainers push you to get the best out of yourself. When you walk in, you know you will be getting a great workout. They always adapt and give you a different exercise to do if you don’t feel comfortable with some of them. Also, the music playlists are awesome.

This is such a wonderful gym community. This is the best way to workout! Working out with a personal trainer is definitely the way to go. I have not only had zero injuries from working out but I am getting stronger, have more energy , look and generally feel better and have been consistent with my goals. The trainers at H4 in Geneva are so good at keeping you motivated and writing challenging workouts for you. The price is right, they are very supportive of your schedule and you feel like a celebrity with the personal attention. If you are looking to switch things up or simply wanting to start somewhere this is the place to check out!

Nearly four years ago, at age 65 and with a complimentary one-month trial in hand, I started working out at H4 and I am still there. Initially I was planning on trying other workout facilities to get a sense of what would be best for me. My main goal was to have a better functional base so that I could perform activities of daily life, which includes running and bicycling, more easily and without injury. From day one I could see that H4 was the place for me. The workouts are designed to target all areas of your body and are modified every two weeks to keep you challenged. The trainers are knowledgeable, motivating and willing to customize the workouts to accommodate any physical limitation one may have. I would encourage anyone to give H4 a try.

I joined H4 about three months ago and am loving it. After working out at home the last few years, I needed something different and more challenging. From my initial consult with Hank, I felt very welcomed and free of judgment. All of the coaches are fantastic and so motivating. I've had some injuries in the past and decided to join H4 because of the 1:1 attention and focus on proper form to avoid injury. Definitely worth the investment in your health!

Love love love H4! I needed to jumpstart my fitness routine as my home workouts during the pandemic were becoming stale. H4 has met my needs completely. I love the fun atmosphere with the awesome clients and the amazing coaches. I joined H4 with an existing case of tennis elbow, but the coaches have been amazing at modifying the necessary exercises during my rehab and recovery. The music is upbeat and different every time. I love this place. The vibe at H4 is always positive – from the coaches’ encouragement, and camaraderie with your fellow clients, to the upbeat music (I feel like they are always playing my anthem!). You get a lot of personal attention here. Coaches are always nearby (class size is SMALL) – checking in with you, helping to improve your form, and cheering you on. They are always ready to modify an activity for your needs – whether to protect an injury or discomfort, or to increase the challenge when you’re ready/desirous of it. I accomplish so much more here than I ever could on my own. They have all the equipment and a plan ready for you. You just have to dive in and give it all you’ve got. I sweat my face off and go home feeling like a champ every time. I love the gains I see and even more the gains I feel. H4 has had a positive impact on my life. I’m glad I walked in the door to give it a try. You should too.

H4 Training has turned out to be just what I was looking for. I highly recommend H4 if you are looking for small group classes and personalized workouts. I started in January this year, and quickly discovered that the trainers are knowledgeable and sincerely invested in each and every client. I am currently dealing with a knee injury and the coaches will always provide specific exercises to help me achieve the same goals without affecting my knee. The workouts are carefully planned and are never the same, combining strength training with cardio. I’ve tried other fitness programs but this is by far this is the best.

H4 staff incorporates a variety of moves and exercises for a full body workout that focusses on each individual's needs. I cannot think of a greater investment I have made in my own health than joining H4! They have made working out truly something I enjoy and look forward to.
The facility is always clean and well maintained. Equipment is in great condition and they’re always getting new, interesting things for us to use.
The staff is absolutely wonderful! I cannot say enough about them. The trainers are super knowledgeable and qualified. The small class sizes give you so much one on one personal attention. My favorite part is their attention to detail and minor directions/ corrections to form; not only so I know I am doing a movement correctly, but I know I’m not going to hurt myself since I’ve learned to do it properly. I LOVE that!
They offer advice with nutrition, host events, and conduct individual and team challenges for those who want to participate.
They are always pushing us to push ourselves and have confidence.
I also love having everything ready to go for me. As silly as it may sound, I hated going to the gym and looking for weights, or what’s my next exercise. The classes here have your routine all mapped out and the trainers get to know you on such a personal level that they are great at setting exactly what weights will be appropriate for you.
They are also phenomenal at making adaptations for ability or injury. Knee hurts - Here is an alternative movement to work the same muscle groups without impacting your knee. It’s all those small touches that make this gym such a remarkable place!
I have really learned so much about exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle since joining H4.

Zero integrity... One of their trainers had a multi-year affair with my Ex wife. How cold they not see how inappropriate this was and immediately address it? To make matters worse, they tried to cover up their actions, failed on their promises to address and even tried to dodge subpoenas. I believe in integrity first for a business like this... They had multiple opportunities to make this right, but chose not to. Check in with your ladies fellas.
