The classes are very small, which I appreciated, especially while recovering from an injury. The staff and members were all friendly. However, the boxing instruction wasn’t quite what I was looking for. The coaches didn’t consistently demonstrate the punches or check form during the workouts, which raised concerns about safety and proper technique. At times, the coaches would join the workout themselves rather than observing and correcting participants.

I also felt the overall cleanliness could be improved — the water fountain was not clean, and the table where we placed our bottles was quite dusty. Given the price, I expected better attention to detail both in instruction and facility upkeep.

I reached out to cancel my membership and shared my concerns. While I was offered personal training, which I declined, I never received any further follow-up despite checking in again in person.

The coaches have always been amazing at bringing great energy and encouragement, in different ways...do you want to focus on your boxing form, push yourself harder, or just have a great general workout? They will help you do that. And the class formats are a great balance of boxing, weights and cardio that keep you and your fitness on your toes!

I was looking for a small, tight-knit gym with a welcoming atmosphere, and this one fit the bill perfectly. Although there was a minor miscommunication at first—likely due to the busy holiday season—Sara McSpedon reached out, invited me to the gym, and ensured everything was sorted out.

The gym itself is clean, warm, and inclusive, with people of all fitness levels. Sara took the time to explain the class structure, demonstrate basic moves, and keep everyone motivated throughout. Her approach was supportive and judgment-free, making the class a great experience.

I’m glad I found this class—it actually reminds me of another fitness gym I go to and love. Hopefully, this marks the start of a fruitful new chapter in my life. Thank you, Sara, for guiding me through my first-ever boxing class!

I joined Mayweather about a year and a half ago. It's been my first group fitness experience, and it has been transformative. The variety of the workouts keeps it fresh, the instructors are amazing, and the atmosphere and camaraderie add to the experience. I was intimidated before my first session, wondering if I could keep up, and it was challenging at first. But, you can go at your own pace as you build your strength and endurance. There is a mix of younger and older and serious fitness devotees and people just trying to either maintain or become a little more fit, so everyone is comfortable.

I don't write a lot of Google reviews, but I feel strongly about my experience at Mayweather and encourage anyone looking for something fun, challenging and surprisingly affordable to come and try a free class. You'll be hooked.

This review is long overdue. I waited for two years to write this to make sure I still loved it as much as when I started, and I love it more every time I go, the workouts are great, very well rounded. The weekly ones go by so quick 45 minutes and you get a great work out. You can push yourself really hard or if you don’t feel that energetic or tired you can still take it easy. It really makes it easy to go every day!! On another note, Sara is fantastic and all the instructors are super, all very energetic, and a little bit different. It is very nice that it is always changed up a little and you never get bored. If you work out at Mayweather
you don’t need another gym! It incorporates, weight training, cardio, and boxing which is great for your mind. You can also use the gym when there are no classes and go to open gym and do your own thing. The weekend classes are a little longer and give you a much-needed weekend, Workout! I can go on and on, but you have to give it a try, the workouts are fantastic the place is clean and it is such a nice friendly community. I think your first class is free, so give it a shot and maybe you will still be here after two years too! Great place to go to stay fit and motivated 😊

I've been going to Mayweather for almost a year now. Although I only go once a week, it's the first time I've really stuck to any kind of regular workout in decades, and I do it because it's so much fun (great instructors & owner), everyone's so encouraging and I really do feel great afterwards. I love the mix of boxing, cardio and strength (even on the rough days), because it never gets boring. Great gym to check out and join!

Incredible class. The owner was there and she was so kind and helpful. I have never boxed before and she took so much time helping me understand the class and got me all set up with wraps and gloves. The instructor was just as incredible. The studio is super clean. A 10/10 experience! Highly highly recommend!

I joined Mayweather Boxing & Fitness about a month ago and have been going to classes at least 5 times a week. The time goes by so quickly and I look forward to the next class as soon as I leave. The instructors are motivating and the atmosphere is warm and encouraging. I get bored easily, which is why it has always been hard for me to stick to a workout routine. Mayweather classes are the exception because the circuits are always changing and it never feels repetitive. I highly recommend checking out this studio if you have not already. I have been working out for many years and this is by far one of my most favorite workouts. I love the classes, the instructors, the members, and the encouraging environment. I have been consistently going 3-4 times a week for over a year now and look forward to every class I take. It's addictive! Their workouts are a great mix of cardio and strength training; utilizing boxing, rowers, treadmills, battle ropes, free weights, bosu balls, weighted training balls, etc. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and fun! They help a beginner feel comfortable, or push a novice to reach their full potential. The facility is in a great location, clean, and nice and bright. The music is fun and motivating. Showers are on site. My first time here was so challenging, but I stuck with it and cannot get enough now. Best workout ever.

This is seriously the best workout you can get! The instructors are very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love the smaller group sizes, the team motivation, and full body, fast paced work outs. Classes are perfect for busy lifestyles: they are never the same, always challenging, and fun - a 45-60 minute class goes by so quickly!

I have done many types of workouts (including other boxing workouts), and I can honestly say this facility has struck the perfect balance. With the introduction of MBody non-boxing workouts, this facility can now meet all of your fitness needs. Cardio, strength and core are all addressed in a welcoming and inspirational environment. The instructors provide the right amount of motivation and instruction without berating you or interfering with your workout (I will not call any of them out individually, as they all have their own effective style). The calorie burn is intense, and the strength gains are accomplished without monotony or risk of injury. While I used to attend several gyms to achieve a cross-training level of fitness, I now only go here, swim and occasionally run. Cannot say enough good things about it.
