I love the community and spaces at this gym. The training area is spacious and has everything I would need from warmup to weight training.

The staff and climbers are friendly and inviting. The setters create a range of climbs that are diverse and inclusive. Some climbs may be easier for shorter climbers, some may be easier for taller climbers. The lower end of the grade range is quite fun and has interesting movement. And that continues through the tougher stuff.

I am glad there is no arch and that the space stays open and easy to navigate while decreasing the risk of people walking into fall zones.

I love the vibes, and it's a pretty sweet deal because the monthly membership includes free group fitness classes every couple of days weekly, so you get the option of climbing, going to the gym, and/or attending a class (or all in the same day, if you have the cardio 😩 or masochistic tendencies, lol). Some of the rock climbing routes change weekly, and the gym has your regular set of equipment.

Also, I love the gym's music taste (ughh, trust me, I am/I've been a part of several gyms around town, and their music is so atrocious/basic, it makes your training sessions mid and demotivating). I also like the mission behind the gym and appreciate such spaces especially given the unfortunate current political state of the world.

Very nice bouldering Gym and whoever the route setter/s is/are set some amazing climbs with some good moves that actually make you think, more focused on technique than powering it out. Very interesting moves and holds as well, very different moves and style compared to boulders in South Africa.

Great gym. Great amenities. Nice and new. Weights and cardio area is spacious and has great natural light and windows. Real missed opportunity to make an arch/roof feature like in Dogpatch Boulders, but that's probably just nostalgia on my part. Setting has a bit of "all the setters are tall people", but it seems to slowly be improving.

It is clear that owners Natalie and Mika have a vision for what they can add to the climbing community, and I am excited to see it grow. The care that has gone into creating a space for everyone really shows. I've brought several new-to-climbing friends here and they've had a great time in part due to some excellent routesetting that put fun movement and and some puzzle-y problem solving in beginner climbs.

Natalie and Mika have done a wonderful job of creating a community space that offers a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you are trying out climbing for the first time or you've been doing it all your life, there are opportunities here to challenge yourself. The kids area is great for parents who want to explore climbing with their children in a safe environment, and the training areas make it possible to dial in your climbing-specific skills or work on your overall fitness.

This gym is such a wonderful and welcome addition to Chambana! Stepping in, its clear these folks behind it have poured so much passion and thought into creating something where every detail has been meticulously considered. It's such a cool, multi-faceted space that feels inclusive and friendly. I am new to climbing and love that Horizon feels like a non-judgey space to hone my skills and just to unwind when I visit the area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great location in terms of public transit, excellent in every way.
