We visited the Horton Field House for the Special Olympics basketball state tournament. The gym we played was amazing - very appreciated. The facility overall was what you would expect from an indoor sports complex. My heads up is parking is kind of weird and not handicap friendly. If you played in the lower level gym or need to get down there - there is a very steep ramp to get you down or back up. I'm sure there are stairs somewhere. Overall - great time and hospitality for the event!

I'm glad this place is an option for indoor high school track and field but they really need to improve it. Sound system adds noise without providing intelligible information, concessions are very limited (no popcorn or coffee) and the venue seems crowded for the athletes. Still better than outside in February and early March but not as good as Wesleyan facilities for the same type of event

For DI facility, this is subpar. Lots of history, sure, but 4 lanes, terrible visibilty (the track runs UNDER the bleachers on both sides), and no way to cross the track during meets without exiting and rentering the building is not up to standard. IWU, ONU, and NCC are all nicer as DIII tracks. Be wary if you attend an even here in inclement weather, wear galoshes and bring your umbrella.

Really enjoyed our time at Horton fieldhouse, though it was a bit warm in the stands the athletes were happy with the temperature. Audio was very difficult to understand is too loud for the facility and echoed as a result.

Great venue for events. We were there for marching band competition and they couldn't have been more accommodating to the entire group. All of the seats have backs on him which is a welcome change for a stadium. Too bad the wind was just brutal but that's not the venues fault of course.
