Florida resident here, Used to be dekalb county resident years ago. This place has been calling me 8:15pm my time and other numerous times and days to look for someone who isn't even related to me or obviously not me. All these phone calls out to me in order to sale pitch some specials that person "may" be interested in based on consumer data purchased and collected. Caller informed me my number was not confirmed contact for who they are trying to reach and also verified they call up to 8pm illinois time- (past dinner for most so they can sale pitch) (not legal for them to call regardless of your area code if u are in a different time zone and its past 8pm your time). They buy and collect consumer data then cold call without doing their legal due diligence to run accurint or lexis nexis. The law dictates to confirm correct person linked to number is the person they want to reach prior to calls. Therefore, not abiding by non-harassment style communication and risking calling a number that they never confirmed is the correct person or time frame. My cell phone is prepaid meaning legally they cant call it for sales pitch to anyone because it eats up prepaid minutes. All of this data is purchased by and is supposed be confirmed by them. (If they did their legal diligence to run the phone numbers prior to contact.- that also costs money ;) -the part they are avoiding) The manager obviously is following half laws, just enough so they can try to skate off "oops we didn't know" mistakes. Reality is it looks like people love this place based on reviews, BUT they are willing to risk their ratings and business on illegal practices. BE wary of how they store and use your data. I am happy Sycamore is expanding to have these types of health and wellness businesses, but if the business itself is deciding to try to gain new customers off illegal practices, its not a good intention toward their customers and community, and is a red flag. How a manager and owner chooses to run something behind the scenes is very telling. The computer software they bought to collect data, and the software to call out, does show them and give them the ability to verify and decide if placing call is correct. This is built in by software companies so they can avoid lawsuits, and so it falls on the company if they ignore the laws. I hope whoever manages this place reads this and takes it as a saving grace or wake up call. Do better for the residents of Dekalb county with their data, personal information, security, and for the reputation of the employees and company itself. Suggestion- don't call from dialer numbers that are not your real phone number, its deceiving right off the bat. Also this is a nationwide chain, they have the ability to MORE than afford to pay for the legal checks prior to calls, and are provided these laws and knowledge more so than small companies.

Love this location and the staff, especially the GM Emily! She’s so sweet and friendly. I love that she bring her dog Lemy. Lemy is literally why I show up half the time for motivation. I wouldn’t ever to go another location

I'm so glad I found Hotworx. I do NOT like working out around people so the saunas are perfect, I can go at my own pace. The Sycamore Hotworx staff is so friendly and the facility is always so clean. The entire experience makes working out fun, easy and keeps me motivated!

I have been going to hotworx for about 2 months now and have not regretted it at all! The staff is very friendly. The studio and saunas are always very organized and clean. I really enjoy the different workouts and being able to schedule via an app. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys guided workouts!

Staff members are a bit rude. Went in to try a free workout and I love the workout. However, the staff members refuse to address me by my name that I provided them with once signing up. They disregarded the fact that I wasn’t properly informed of my scheduled appointment due their attempt to contact another person. After my workout, the staff member repeatedly walked off on me while I was asking about the products and services at that location. They seemed uninterested in providing adequate customer service to aid in my decision making. I would try a different location or stick to the surrounding gyms. They are more welcoming than this location.

I love this place! Hotworx’s is such a great way to workout and invest in yourself other than the usual weight lifting. The saunas are great and I love the cycling and Pilates options the best. The staff and environment are fantastic! I sometimes find it hard when saunas are booked and the next available time a lot for a specific workout is later than wanted, but it allows me to be open to trying new workouts. Overall, highly recommend to anyone looking into wanting a new, refreshing way to workout!
