A gym dedicated to making everyone feel comfortable and welcome while achieving their fitness and wellness goals. Run by Molly and Tim Hahn, who have been in the fitness industry since the early 2000s. They specialize in beginners, seniors, rehabilitation, kids/teens, sport specific, moms, and general population. They are proud to be a friendly, ego-free gym, that encompasses not only fitness, but also health and wellness. If you’re looking for a place to create and sustain healthy habits with a kind and compassionate support system, you’ve found it.

I am a local physical therapist and practice owner that has been working out and collaborating with Instinct Fitness and Wellness for several months now. Tim and Molly are exceptional owners and the entire Instinct Fitness team are welcoming, down to earth, and knowledgeable. It is apparent how members feel a part of a community and not just another gym here.
The workouts are scaled to meet you at your current level, so there are workout options for everybody. The group classes provide you with accountability and variation so you are doing different workouts each time you visit the gym.
If you are looking for a community that is welcoming and a gym where you can improve your fitness in a holistic way then I strongly encourage you to check out Instinct Fitness and Wellness!

I’ve been a member of Instinct Fitness and Wellness for over a year now. I started going for weight training and weight loss which turned into much more for me. Everyone is so welcoming no matter your level of fitness I have never felt uncomfortable.
I suffered an injury not associated with the gym, but I thought oh great I guess this is it. I reached out to Tim Hahn about this, and he advised me not to stop, we discussed my injury, and he was so great that I was able to keep going and attending the classes. He helped get a good workout during my injury and he helped me immensely with recovery.
I have attended many of the extra breakouts offered and have enjoyed them all. I recently attended the Women’s Mini Retreat led by Molly Hahn. This was my first class with Molly, and I enjoyed every minute of it. So much information about health and nutrition for women. She made the environment so comfortable I would highly recommend and look forward to any future classes with Molly.

You are able to try this place out before you commit and they also say that you can just go month to month so that you're not locked into any type of contract.
I tried it. I thought maybe I would like a group atmosphere with a determined sequence. It really wasn't for me though. I think the recommended weight amount the recommend is way on the heavy side. I had to lighten up lol. The regulars are in really good shape and you will quickly realize what shape you're in. I'm in descent shape and I was winded after the warm up before the sequence even started.
I made it through but was delirious and wore out. Definitely hit the endorphin high.
If you need motivation and a group atmosphere, this is the place. It's nice and clean and big. If you like to do your own pace/thing it's not for you.
If you can do 10+ pull-ups and have abs of steel it might be for you.

I dropped in to this box while traveling through Springfield- they were great. Tim was super welcoming, the facility was clean and inviting and everyone was friendly.

Dropped into the facility while on vacation and had a great experience with the owners, coaches and members. The members were super friendly and the workouts were challenging with various scaling options for the day. Best thing is that they offer a great variety of classes during the day and I would definitely drop in again when back in Springfield!

Came into town for a wedding and found this place. Staff, facility and people were amazing. Was over Valentine’s Day, everyone got a rose and they did a raffle after the workout, winner got a gift card. Wish I could pick this place up and take it back home!!

Hands down, CrossFit Instinct is one of the best crossfit gyms you can join. The staff is extremely personable and go out of their way to ensure your workouts are catered to your needs and abilities.
