I have been going to ION for about 6 months now. The owner, Neal, is completely professional and make working out more enjoyable than just a regular gym work out. He does personal training as well as group classes. He does classes with weight lifting as well as my favorite, boxing. The group classes are quick and effective! I haven't felt this good about working out. I can definitely say that the three days I go are the most enjoyable days of the week. I will 100% continue with this gym for as long as I can.

It has taken me almost a year to finally try this gym. I started working out at Ion Fitness a little over a month and a half ago and I already feel a difference in my clothes, my strength and energy level. I enjoy the workouts and the people in class are very friendly and supportive. Thank you Neal, Maureen and Ion Fitness!

I have been working out at Ion for little over a year now & have never felt so good about my health journey than I do now! The gym has provided incredible workouts with results that show. I feel comfortable in all class settings & throughly enjoy working out there. The owner/coach is very knowledgeable & has helped guide me towards my fitness goals! Highly recommend this gym!

Awesome workouts, fantastic trainers, comfortable, positive and motivating culture

Neal is a well rounded martial artist as well. I own and operate a martial arts school (25 yrs in the martial arts) and Neal humbly teaches groundwork to our staff and students. He also helps us develop our fitness program here as well. He and his program are an asset to our dojo.

I cannot say enough good things about ION Fitness!

I have never been inclined towards any type of physical activity nor been motivated by the thought of exercising. On the contrary, nothing gave me anxiety more than the idea of stepping foot in a gym with all the intimidating machines I have no idea how to use.

A friend convinced me to try both boxing and boot camp classes at ION Fitness and I am so glad I did!!

I have been attending classes several times per week for the past 4 months and my outlook on working out has done a complete 180. Neal is an amazing trainer; he is full of positive energy and helps to motivate his students even on the toughest of days.

The class sizes are small, up to 6 people, which is perfect for those of us who are overwhelmed by “regular” gyms and classes. It’s a group exercise within a personal training atmosphere. It’s a great environment to work out in and I highly recommend giving it a shot. You won’t regret it!

I trained with Neal for about two years, and it has been the best experience I could have asked for. He's very knowledgeable about fitness, and his workouts are enjoyable. He has always been accommodating to me regarding my training needs. I would highly recommend anyone to train with Neal.

Here is a testimony for Ion Fitness. I have been working out with the owner, Neal Cervone, for over 2.5 years. When I met Neal and he just started his Jiu Jitsu/grappling class. At first, I did it for pure fun and soon I noticed I started to lose weight. Then I approached Neal about some nutritional help. He provided me diet advice, information on supplements, and the importance of a daily dose of protein Then came my annual health insurance check up. My doctor was very impressed with a drop in weight, blood pressure and cholesterol.
In my first year, my total cholesterol dropped from 184 to 167. Triglycerides 179 to 109, HDL 39 to 44, VLDL 36 to 22, and LDL 109 TO 101.
This gave me the incentive to get thinner and healthier. Continuing my diet change and exercise (Now doing plymetric exercises and boxing training) for another year. My next check up showed further improvement.
My cholesterol numbers improved further: my total cholesterol dropped from 167 to 161. Triglycerides 109 to 91, HDL 44 to 46, VLDL 22 to 18, and LDL 101 to 97.
After 2.5 years I have lost 65 pounds, feel healthier, have more strength, and flexibility at the age of 53. It's a stated fact that daily exercise has a positive effect on a person's physical and mental well-being. I concur with those findings. Weight loss is not something that comes in a pill or in a potion. It takes work and dedication. Thanks Neal.

Ion Fitness has quickly become my favorite workout. Before joining I was practicing yoga regularly but wanted something more intense. Neal is a phenomenal trainer, the workouts change so you don't get bored, and I always leave feeling stronger than when I arrived. I love the small group circuit setup they offer and at a great price.... you can't go wrong!

I’m not a fitness junkie, I have joined gyms before and worked out casually on a treadmill or bike and then slowly stopped going, I’ve taken classes at gyms and felt intimidated, even beginner friendly classes didn’t feel beginner friendly . Then I found ion fitness. Boxing sounded scary but I couldn’t go wrong with free class so tried a boxing class. And it was exactly what I needed. Not only did it boost my confidence saying I take boxing . But walking in you don’t get the typical gym vibe. This class is taught in a group setting which I love but the rotation is all you, so you can work at your pace and modify any of the work outs to fit you. I really enjoy going to class
