My 4.5 year old daughter has been doing tap/ballet for 3 sessions. She has now decided to switch it up and try hip hop/ jazz. She also does tumbling and just signed up for the spirit squad. We love the environment and staff! Great place to do all things!

This is my daughters first year in tumbling (she’s 2) and has already learned so much! She is so excited to go every week. The teachers and the staff are so friendly. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for tumbling or dance. Incredible programs!!

J & J is the BEST! I was a student at J & J from the time I was 3 years old until I graduated high school. I took lessons mostly in all forms of dance; however, I did some tumbling when I was younger.

Now, as a mother, my child has taken tumbling, dance, and swim classes at J&J (pool now owned by Catch The Wave). My child has taken various lessons since the age of 2 and is now 10 years old.

This is a long standing business in Pecatonica. People travel from all over the local region to take classes at J & J, whether in dance or tumbling. They have nationally recognized programs. This is due to the wonderful staff who have owned and worked at J & J over the years. It is an amazing facility that offers something for everyone from dance to tumbling, from young to old, from novice to competitive.

Give them a try - you will be glad you did. Your child will love coming to J & J!!

J&J has been amazing with my Autistic son. I called ahead of time to discuss his difficulties and they were so amazing to work with! The communication was great when we had to make some changes, as all autistic children need adjustments. Our ABA service was also very helpful during class to help all the staff as they know him very well! The office staff and floor staff were amazing! Communication is always key when dealing with autistic children! My son is non-verbal and never stops moving. We enrolled him knowing this was going to be a challenge for everyone!!! He needed to start learning skills and J&J was amazing at working with us! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience ❤️

If your children have any type of neuro divergencies, I 100% do not recommend sending g them to this program. They were so dismissive of my autistic son and didn’t even attempt to help him be successful. They also have solo teenagers teach classes of 6+ small children. The entire environment was extremely unwelcoming for the few months that we did attend , except for a few of the other parents that we met through my sons class. They also have no mask policy for even staff and spectators.

My daughter loves J & J Tumbling. Her teachers are all high schoolers, but they are very encouraging and professional. They actually demonstrate how to tumble in front of the kids. It's been over two years since my daughter started going to J & J, but she still gets excited every time she goes to gymnastics. Her skills are surely improving, and she likes to practice at home too.

This gym sure has changed our family! Our daughter started tumbling when she was 4.5 and is now 16 and very health conscious. She loves to exercise and loves tumbling. I have been going here for twelve years now and my brother had been here for six years and they have been nothing but kind to us both there coaches are amazing and always super kind which made me and my brother improve a lot being here is an experience me and my brother are never going to forget.

My girls are in competitive tumbling and trampoline for about 5 years now. J&J great coaches. I have seen my girls go from nothing to the amazing things they can do with these coaches. With the experience with these coaches my daughter won a Regional Championship and placed 4th in Nationals with .2 difference from first. This program is a good motivator for my kids. The owners are awesome people. Always remember when going to a place like this if you want to see results of your kids, please train your kids to listen to the coaches and not to mess around. If you follow this guide you will see results. The pricing is affordable and cheaper than other gyms around the area.
