The attention to detail at this gym by the trainers is incredible. They able to work with you and modify the routines for any skill level and physical limitations. In my associates recreation sports have hurt myself and the Team there has been able to work along side and help me recover without missing a beat. I feel strong and more confident since I started working out here. By far Jon is incredible and the culture he has built at the gym is exceptional. I would challenge anyone to find a better experience.

All the coaches have great knowledge and push you to do the best that you can. If there’s any sort of pain or discomfort they help figure out what the issue is and if needed give you different movements to do. I haven’t felt this strong in a long time!

By far the best gym I've ever been to. Amazing workouts and true sense of community here. Coach Jon is truly one of the best! Kind, humble and extremely knowledgeable. He watches each and every member to make sure movements are correct and pushes you beyond what you think you can do. I started at 3-4 days a week 3 years ago and now go 5 - 6 days. I love starting my day with my gym family. Come check out JKSF. I promise you won't regret it.

The vibes at JK Strength & Fitness are immaculate! This is a genuinely fun place to work out with energetic and caring trainers. I am TRUE beginner and they have put in extra time and effort to help me gain strength and confidence. I recommend trying this gym out, I tried out a bunch of gyms in the area and this is the only one where I felt comfortable as a beginner. I really can’t say enough positive things about the owner, the trainers and the program. I’m feeling stronger than ever and I have JK Strength & Fitness to thank!

Great coaching, great workouts, great gym. Coaching takes its time to work with each individual on areas they need to improve. The workouts are only 50 Minutes, but you feel like you Adequately targeted a muscle group after every class. The gym is small, but has everything you need with the coaching and structure to provide a great workout while also giving it an individual hands-on experience

This is the best gym! I joined JKSF about 3 years ago (at this point). I really did not know what I was doing in the gym -especially with weight training. Weight training was a whole new concept to me. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in the door. The owner, Jon is a very personable person, was able to answer all my questions and made me less apprehensive about trying something new. Jon is very encouraging, knowledgeable and is an amazing trainer/teacher. He teaches you proper form first and always encourages you to do your best.
Since joining JKSF there have been some new additions in coaches who are also knowledgeable and encouraging.
No matter if you’re just starting out in this journey or experienced, I highly recommend JKSF. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who are always willing to assist. JKSF has become my gym family!

This gym has far exceeded my expectations. I am part of a true community here and look forward to working out now! The trainers are absolutely awesome, everyone knows you by name and your level and actively watch and tweak your form so you know you are doing the exercises correctly and they help push you to the next level. I have also received diet guidance and that paired with these workouts have been incredibly effective for me. It is small group classes which is helpful and you get that personalized trainer experience. So glad I found JK Strength and Fitness!

This is by far the best gym I’ve been apart of. The sense of community starts at the top with the owner, Jon. He has created such a unique and enjoyable environment, one I’ve never experienced in other gyms.
He is a fantastic trainer and truly knows how to get the most out of people. He will challenge you and push you further than you thought you could go. I cannot recommend this place enough and tell everyone about it whenever I have the chance.

I am 51 years old and post bariatric bypass surgery . The next step in my journey was strength training. I needed to find the right place, the right atmosphere and most importantly the right people! And I found all of that at JK Strength and Fitness!! They took the time to understand my situation and have worked with me closely to work thru my limitations. I was in Villa Park visiting my in-laws and needed a place to work out. I'm glad I found JK Strength and they allowed a drop in.
I haven't been working out for long and just followed the plan from my trainer back home. Jon gave me some pointers to try out on my squat which have helped a lot.
I really enjoyed the 'vibe' of the place. It has a nice blend of fun and seriousness.

I came to try out this gym a month ago just wanting to incorporate lifting and strength training into my weekly workouts. This has been by the far the best gym I’ve ever been to and I really enjoy the workouts Jon has us doing. Jon helps you improve your form, pushes you, and really takes the time to give one on one training in a class setting. I love the positive environment! I love being pushed and told to keep going when I want to quit! I truly appreciate this past month and I can’t wait to keep coming! This is the best gym around. Coach Jon is very knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness and he strives to teach each member while empowering them to be the best they can. He has also been a positive influence on my two teenage boys. Giving them a healthy outlet and providing a foundation for a healthy lifestyle. I have been a member of JK Strength and Fitness for 3 months now and could not recommend this gym more. Jon truly is able to bring personal training to group classes and cares about each and every one of his members. He first hand knows every members lifting ability, their maximum weights on each exercise and the correct recommendations for each skill level.
You can tell that Jon is very knowledgable at what he does and cares about each and every member.
I have felt welcome every single time I step into the gym, especially by his fiancé who greets everyone and always has positive energy. I love coming to come to a place where I am excited to work out, don’t feel judged and have developed friendships.

Not only is the trainer great and knows a lot, but the people I have met at the gym are amazing!
And to top it all off, the workouts are so good and I have seen such a difference in my strength! You have a choice to do strength or cardio.

I joined JKSF about 6 weeks ago. I decided on this gym, even though I have never done anything like this before. I am older and didn't think it was for me. I'd drive past on my way home from work and thought it was some He-man weightlifting club. Then I saw a whole variety of people working out here and they looked like they were having fun! Well, that got me curious, so I stopped in and arranged for a trial workout day.
First, the people here are so great to work out with and so encouraging. I have been to other gyms, clubs, classes, etc and there was this underlying completive feel. None of that here! I have to believe this whole attitude comes from Jon, the owner. This guy knows his stuff when it comes to fitness and nutrition. But then add on the fact that he is one of the nicest people I have ever met in this industry, and you get this fantastic coach!
I look forward to going and working out. That bears repeating... I look forward to going here! I can't wait to see what happens to my body in a year!

While I may live out of state, Jon has been an incredible help in my fitness journey! His plans are made for whatever you have to use while still getting the full affect -- whether it be home workouts with little access to equipment or full on gym activity.
