Thanks for hosting Buddy Check 22 in support of battling veteran suicide. This was my second Buddy Check event held here. The first event was back in early spring and the second was yesterday. The course looked great. Very nice greens. It's not your fault I am a terrible golfer 😉. The meal upstairs in the big room was very tasty. I look forward to coming back.

I would give it less ...the rudest woman even in the history of thr world ... we were caught in a storm we had to climb thr side of a hill rocks mud to get away from lightening and some woman that stays there looked me dead in the face and said the elk club is gonna be mad it private property and asked us to get off thr property I said we had to call for a ride we don't even know where we r we had to get off the river there was flash floods ... she said ya don't care it's private property I said please lady have a heart we will be back as soon as I get to my car ... like wow the picture below is our things it didn't take up that much space and there were like 7 other ppl all of us stranded but there were with a small party of ppl ...

I have been playing this course for close to 10 years. I live in Miami and my wife's family is from this area so I bring my clubs and really look forward to playing the Elks when we visit because it is a gem. I've played the Blue Monster and Torrey and every course around Miami and Elks is still at the top of my list of great courses and the prices are something you only see at Augusta for a beer and sandwich. For selfish reasons, I hope this place isn't ever truly discovered for the remarkable course that it is but if you're lucky enough to play here, be grateful.

My 1st visit to this great course. Love the layout and history behind these great designers. Course is in great shape despite lack of rain. Green complexes are awesome, with the middle of them your best friend. $33 to walk is a steal. A must play!!

The staff was very rude, we are fairly new to the game, we did not know, you could, bring your own, drinks, the staff searched our bags, and at one point cussed at my boys, embarrassing them in front if other people, we will not be back!!

This Langford and Moreau hidden gem has a great routing and some outstanding green complexes. In definite need of some TLC, but with some investment could be great. Price is right and a very walkable track.

I was there on Sunday morning and it was one of the worst experiences I have had at a golf course. I was playing in a foursome and our tee time was 7:19 am. My friend and I go in to pay for our at 7:18 am and the only reason i knew what time it was because i was watching the golf tourney on the tv and the clock was right above the tv. There was one guy in front of my friend and i and the gentlemen behind the counter took a few mins to ring him up because he made a mistake. When he finished with him my buddy told him he would like to pay for his round for 7:19 tee time and then the worker said oh... your late.... we looked at the clock and it was 7:21. First how are those your first words to a customer? I mean he could have said anything else like hey we need you guys to hustle up please we have a full schedule. But no he was smacking his gum and being very rude. Then on the course we had 2 foursome's behind us yelling back and fourth at each other talking about how slow we were playing and they have to wait on every shot. We played 18 in 4 hrs and 10 min. Last time i checked that is not slow at all. I have never felt more uncomfortable on a course than this one. It felt like if you are not a member you were below them. I drove 45 mins and spent 40 bucks to play and i wish i would have saved my money. I will for sure not be back.

Not sure what the word "reservation" means but apparently we didn't have one and even though they didn't have our contact info, they said they tried to contact us all week........obvious lie. Other courses in the area that know what customer service is. Learn how to hold a reservation but who needs customers........

Booked a tee time 2 weeks in advance, but when we arrived, were told they had a large tournament and we had to leave. Claimed to have tried contacting us, but they never asked for a phone number when the tee time was booked. Staff was extremely rude and argumentative. Apparently it was our fault that they scheduled tee times, knowing they had a tournament, and that they never asked for our contact information. Completely unprofessional. Anyone can take a reservation, it's the hold that is the important part. Maybe Kankakee Elks should watch a little more Seinfeld.

Terrific old-style layout with tree lined fairways and elevated greens. Pin position dictates approach shots into the greens since most are undulating with mutiple tiers on them. Course conditions were fantastic. Little bit of a drive but worth it
